I did not like the knife I bought once I received it and wanted to return it for another. My return was approved very quickly and I was provided a label to send it back. After shipping it I received an email right away letting me know that BHQ received it and my refund was processed. This was a very easy process.

I e mailed because it was been a couple weeks since I placed my order it had not arrived. Rather than get help maybe tracking the order I got what looked like a standard response offering a $25 credit. When I said that would work for me I got another e mail offering $50 credit. My entire order was $81. I e mailed back and said I was not Interested in that. It took a few more e mails back forth to get full credit back and on the last e mail in bold letters it said something to the effect that I would be fully responsible for any future orders that were not received. I felt like very little was done to help me track the order and in the end the company cared very little about retaining me as a customer. Very disappointing experience. I have made several purchases over the past couple years and recommended the site to a number of co workers and friends. All of that was pretty much wiped out by the frustrating and unpleasant experience over $81. I have been promised a refund and have ordered the knife from another retailer.

I purchased a knife for a family member; however, the had trouble using it. I submitted a return via email and recieved a very fast response and refund. Though purchasing this particular knife did not work out I had a great experience and will purchase from them again because of it!

I've been buying knives from BladeHQ for at least the last 20 years. They are on top of the knife world. This last year I started buying some more expensive knives through their layaway program. I emailed Blade HQ because I needed a big order with engraving for a group of young men at church. The customer service manager, Jeanna, took care of my email right away and was patient with my requests (it took me several days on my side to finally decide what we needed). In the process I called a couple times and talked to Hannah and also Jen. They were wonderful. Hannah took great care to help place the final order. When the order was delivered, I had an issue with a knife. I called and Jen helped work it out. Blade HQ went beyond what I asked for and made it right.

I am a collector whose bias is what's in the hand not in the field. I enjoy collecting. Rarely (very) stuff happens, and that's when how one's vendor matters as to how problems are resolved. With BladeHQ, customer service is rarely used to fix a problem. One just occurred. I'll skip to the summing up part. One call to a superb customer service rep provided me with a very savvy rep with excellent rapport skills, listens, understands the problem and the resolution that would make me feel well-cared for and then when about making that resolution happen expeditiously. I feel so well-cared for — I am not suggesting I got the only staff person whose hame happens to be Hannah to receive the very best. I am saying my call went to someone who dealt with a rather unusual circumstance without missing a beat. My replacement is on the way accompanied by a gesture of good will. In fact, I suggest that along with what's in a collector's hand with a purchased EDC includes the good will waiting on the sidelines I happen to be a long time customer who only recently needed that good will tested. A+, if I had to grade my experience. Thank you, Hannah. Thank you the folks at BladeHQ who see to things that engender good will even when things go right. When it counts, start with BladeHQ.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. Chloe took care of everything let me know all the details in via e-mail. Blade HQ replaced the knife with a brand new knife, or they cleaned it at least cause the knife came back looking brand new. The process was so easy I would highly recommend blade HQ and I didn't have to deal with the actual knife maker themselves blade HQ took care of everything and did a fantastic job five stars all the way across the board.
