I just set a new order, because I was told by friends that the Gerber quality is outstanding. I collect small multi tools, but I also use a few when camping, and fishing.
Their site is also very simple to use & straight forward.
The prices compared to other sites are cheaper.
Gerber knives is one of my favorite shops. I own a collection of knives and make orders here from time to time. Customer support is also great. They also gave me a few good recommendations (not that I don't know the business myself ha ha). I am a satisfied customer.
I would definitely buy on this website again!
I ordered a folding knife + laser engraving. First I was a little bit afraid of the result as I couldn't get a preview of the text, but I turned out to be just perfect! Not to big, and quite discrete.
I also had some trouble during my order: as my paypal account is registered in France, the store website automatically charged me for an expensive shipping in Europe and I didn't notice that before I validated the payment.
I called the contact phone number to explain my situation. Thinking that I would never be refunded. But I talked to the nicest man who immediately helped me and send me my money back the next minute without any discussion. I have to say he made my day!
This company definitely cares about its costumers and knows how to communicate.

I found the Gerber Tools website very easy to use. I was searching for a replacement knife as a gift and was shocked at how fast I found it, not knowing anything about knives. The website is very easy to use and was well organized. As I have now bought two knives as gifts from this site I also love the $5 engraving! Would definitely recommend Gerber Tools!

Site was great with the exception that there was no bullet point of all the features of the multi tools. It explained that there would be a spring loaded scissor, for instance, but did not list all the functions of the tool in a simple format so it made comparing tools a little tedious
I never write reviews, but felt that Gerber-Tools services went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered a knife that needed to be engraved a week before Christmas and saw the package at my front door the next day. They are quick to keep you updated by email about order fufillment and shipment. The knife and engraving look wonderful! I'm so pleased with this product and the quick delivery. I highly recommend using them and will be using them agian in the future!
Got a Gerber knife as a gift a few x-mases ago, the lock blade function didn't work. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Came across it a few days ago and contacted Gerber about getting it fixed/replaced. They said to send them a photo of the knife (why?), we'll look at it, and send a shipping label to you if it seems justified. They sent back a form letter telling me to ship it at my expense and they would ship it back (repaired, I assume) at theirs.
The knife NEVER worked, I NEVER used it, why should I pay anything to have them repair something that was not my fault? Doesn't make much sense to me. Zero-star rating for Gerber.
I ordered gifts for my groomsmen from Gerber tools and they are great. Typically the other gifts you get are cheap knives that end up in a box somehwere, but these are great. I ordered 7 engraved knives and they arrived in 4 business days. As for the quality of the knives, they are Gerber, so you know it's good! I would highly recommend them, especially if you want your tools engraved!
Great site and easy to navigate. Order was received, acknowledged and sent within minutes. They notified me that my credit card information was destroyed after the transition. I have no complaints but a lot of phrase.

I was very impressed with my experience shopping with gerber-tools.com. I found the knife I was looking for at about the best price on the web, they offered custom laser engraving of a whole line (not just initials) for less than $5 and they delivered it all in 10 days.
Product and web site seem OK but ordering process did not allow option to choose different shipping methods/rates - automatically chose relatively expensive 'priority' UPS - which then took 9 days to arrive. No opportunity to review order before it was submitted.
In a day and age where middlemen carry no inventory and drop ship invisible products from unseen warehouses this company stands way above the rest. They not only had my order literally in stock, but had it laser engraved and out the door enroute to me WITH a tracking in less than 24 hours. I was so impressed with their service that immediately upon receipt of my package I turned around and bought another one!

I had one of their tools for years until it was stolen out of my car. (Guess someone else likes them too). Their website was easy to navigate with detailed descriptions and good photos. I live in the USA and did not experince the problems that the Canadian reviewer reported. Billing, shipping charges, and tracking were all correct.
My boyfriend has had a Gerber TX 3.0 flashlight for years! He found it in the woods during a spring melt. Some poor hunter must have lost it. Unfortunately he gave it back to nature yesterday on the first pontoon float of the year. He is devistated! I went to gerber-tools.com right away. I ordered a new one for him yesterday. What service, they have already sent me confirmation that it will ship today. I can't wait to get it... I even had it engraved with his name. Thanks for the fast and professional service.
Easy to use website, especially for someone that knows nothing of knives. Bought the Gerber Hinderer CLS Knife for my husband. Got the knife quickly even with engraving and so far he loves it!
I owned a Gerber multi tool for about 15 years and then recently lost it. Some lucky earthling now owns my Gerber. I found a Leatherman tool in a drawer that my son had discarded and decided to use it. After about two days I found that the Leatherman was very uncomfortable to use due to its design. Today I bought a new Gerber at a Father's day special price and will be very thrilled when it arrives and I can get rid of this substitute.
Great site if they get it right, terrible if they don't. They sent me the wrong product, thus I was out shipping costs twice and had to pay a 20% restocking fee even though it was their fault. Terrible customer service, I had to email repeatedly and eventually call twice before getting a rep on the phone. So compared to the other reviews it is a gamble.
