Cancelled Order

I submitted my order at 7:23pm and the estimated delivery time was 8:45 and the restaurant I ordered from closed at 9pm. I was tracking the order and it was on track but when it got close to the delivery time they sent me a message saying they cancelled the order because the restaurant was closing soon. If the estimated delivery was around 8:45 it should've already been picked up before the restaurant closed. I sent a message through chat support and no reaponse and no call either from the deliverer. The only positive is my money was refunded immediately but this is my first and last time using this app. Will be sticking to Doordash.

All the drivers I met are super nice. There are sometimes issues with the orders but the people who do the chats always very very understanding and accomidating. I never have to call the restaurant to complain which is excellent customer service even when the mistake is not bitesquad. I use biteqsuad a lot and turned my coworkerd on to it to deliver fiid to work and/or home. It actually was in Arizona waiting to get on the plane to fly back home to Arkansas and placed an order to be delivered to the family at home. Only thing I woukd change is the fact they don't offer drinks. Food is never cold. I will continue to use the service!

What a joke
July 19, 2021

I ordered at around 8:30 pm food showed up at around 10:30 pm not terrible except the food was wrong and super cold... after a little investigation, my food was picked up at 6:30 pm (confirmed by the restaurant and receipt)... how is this possible? I hadn't even ordered yet. It turns out the receipt was a door dash order that he picked up at 6:30... so the driver drops off 4 hour old food that made me sick and bitesquad thinks 5 dollars will make me go away. I GOT SICK FROM YOUR ERROR AND 5 WHOLE DOLLARS IS YOUR SOLUTION.

I contact them because my very first order was horrible. And Roger turned my frown upside down he sent me a great driver to deliver my food. He gave me full credit for the horrible service I first received Now I will continue to use bite squad all the time when I don't feel like cooking thank you for the entire turn around that's what you call GREAT SERVICE!

I have been using Bite Squad for over three years now, off and on. They have their Unlimited Delivery Membership Program. It is good ONLY if one lives in the heart of the city.
I initially had MAJOR problems with several of my orders when I started using Bite Squad, but now, the DELIVERY DRIVERS ARE AWESOME! They are the reason for the TWO STARS!

I have experienced nothing but PROBLEMS EVERY TIME I use the chat. I receive conflicting information, they promise me a refund for X amount of months then change it. I set up a new email account with a BITE SQUAD AGENT with Unlimited Delivery Membership. Someone at Bite Squad, I do not know what happened, they were using the old email account that was closed. I wondered why I was not receiving receipts, messages, etc.

During chats, I guess I do not type fast enough. The chat ends before I can finish the what I am asking. Very unprofessional!

Poor Customer Service

Someone in Tennesse hacked my Bite Squad account and ordered food when I contacted them they refused to refund me he was rude and a jerk probably some employee of theirs ripping customers off I deleted the app I'm done use Door Dash way better customer service

Due to an error (the app glitched after updating and placed an old/previous order) from bitesquad, I was told by the representative over the phone that I would be getting a phone call to verify my order from now on to prevent another mishap. Apparently, that was a lie. They now say that I'm unable to place any orders unless I email pictures of my photo ID and credit card to verify that I'm not a "hacker." There's plenty of other safer ways to verify identity. I pity the poor fool who falls for this ploy. Working in fraud security, I know a thing or two. This is a great way to distribute your sensitive, personal information with no reassurance from data encryption or internal privacy. This company does not value loyal customers if they're willing to abuse security policies. They're not only putting their customers at risk, but also making themselves liable. Terrible practices and customer service. The quality of professionalism has significantly dropped. Delivery employees are usually unkempt and seriously sketchy. Avoid!

My local BiteSquad replaced a former delivery service in my area that I had zero complaints over and I wasn't too happy concerning the change. But since I can't get out often and still enjoy fast food, I ended up placing three orders with the service over the past few months. All three orders have been disappointing to say the least. On top of the booking fee, service fee, delivery fee, "other fees", and whatever else they seem to charge, they also raise the price of menu items by a flat 25%. Want a $2.00 egg roll from a Chinese restaurant? You'll be paying $2.50, and that price increase isn't documented anywhere else. Their customer service claims it is some kind of partner fee because they're not affiliated with the restaurant, but it's plain deceptive. All three orders also had items missing from the order (like an entire portion package, sides, etc. There's no verification). I can understand not opening someone's food to verify, but when it's brought up after the fact, the driver blows you off or you get a half-assed credit towards your next order. I won't be using the service again, and if you want to avoid an overpriced headache, I advise you do the same.

I purchased an order with a prepaid Visa gift card and they sent me an email telling me they are declining the transaction if I don't send them a picture of a state issued ID to prove my identity. What kind of bizarre request is this for a food order? In the past, they have also stolen credits from my account and their response to doing so was "T&C state we can do whatever we want, that's the end of the discussion". This company is not BBB accredited and has an infinite list of sketchy operations, including lying about where the driver tips go. AVOID THIS SCUM COMPANY
