Disgusting service... Fooling people around, I placed an order for Mosambi, Rotten Mosambi were kept at the bottom and Good ones were displayed at the top. Big Basket is cheater... We pay money and things are not given at free of cost. 5 KGs of Mosambi, not even 500 gms were good. BIG FRAUD
I have ordered a bunch of stuff from big basket, i have been doing for quite some time now and honestly you guys have provided the worst customer service possible.
I had ordered it on 26th of march and i was assured a delivery on the 27th.
Yesterday the delivery was again changed to 28th today but it has still not been delivered and now i received an email that it was cancelled.
Folks at my place are sitting and waiting at home as the delivery was suppose to happen today but it still hasnt arrived, neither was anyone at my 'doorstep' nor was there a call made to my registered phone number.
After i placed the order, thrice the quantity and price has been modified with no proper communication.
This is by far the worst customer service ever and i will be posting this review on every site possible and give you guys negative review everywhere there is a possibility.

Your delivery slot is for 3 hours, so you expect us to sit idle for 3 hours for your delivery guy to come? Why can't you provide the number of the delivery guy so that it becomes easy then?

My order id is MJPO-************** and the delivery was supposed to take place yesterday but I got late by 5 minutes to reach home and the delivery guy went away saying the order will be delivered tomorrow now... it is very pathetic to see that you can not provide the contact number before and none of your executive helped me, I am definitely not going to order again and will also ask my friends to stop ordering from you now...

Guess the traditional go to supermarket to buy method is best! Things like Big Basket do not work in India. I placed an order on Sunday for delivery on Tuesday morning! Having got a text on Monday confirming delivery, I waited for the entire specified delivery slot on but no one came by. When I called the customer care, the person delivery team and said the order was cancelled. I didn't received any email notifying cancellation. Also I made a payment via Card that was taken through. They don't refund in cash so what is point of using their service!
Their advertisements on television and radio are pretty enticing and enterprise idea also appears western but they do not back themselves with resources and quality! Absolute waste of time and effort.
Also don't be surprised if the grocery arrives wet or damaged as they just throw stuff everywhere. I returned a pack of oil as it packaging was damaged only to realise that the oil pack burst when the delivery person threw it in a crate! They have also broken my front door stopper without paying for it!

This party is out to cheat peaple. The past four months I have ordered 4 times from this party. Low value orders are promptly delivered. High value orders are cancelled after payment is made. They do not refund the amount. Last order was placed on 7. 4. 2020 with advance payment. On the 8-4-2020 they inform that the order is cancelled and amount paid has been credited to my wallet. I request them to refund the amount so as to make alternate arrangement. Till date refund has not been received. Remiders are not answered. I would strongly recommend to avoid this party.

If you order 1 kg chicken, they say that its 1.2 KG since you dont have a weighing scale and even if you have might not be able to return the product so you will be charged difference amount in debit in your account. Its lockdown and you dont have choice. So if shops are open till 11 please buy it from there, udhar bhi chor hai but smaller chor.
I purchased 24 quail eggs not even one egg was good, all were spoiled. Pls do not buy anything from big basket better to buy from local shop where we can get fresh and good products...
My experience is neither great nor bad... I do not order much of fruits and vegetables... my monthly rice, flour etc are ordered it is great for offers on skin care.
I download bigbasket app around 40bdays befor and i try to purchase some product after so much difficulty delivery slot for me that is impossible if not take bb membership for 3 month for this i paid 299 rs. After this also not plan delivery on my address also my membership money not return to my ac its cradited to my bb wallet and that is unise as i mention earlier. Without bb membership u not got delivery slot. So in direct my 299 is block by bb..
The delivery guy as he dint have change he said he will add in my wallet which actulaly could be used in the next order.
Next 2 orders the issues was clarified and my 200 ra was not used after some diacussions and arguments they confirned they are adding 97 rs in my wallet I was still comprimiaes atleadt half of my money would be of use.
Just to avail that amount I have ordered through bigbasket and again the same old story... wallet is zero

They miss many of your orders. They take payment in advance and will not deliver on the promised time slot, they deliver whenever they feel and are in mood to deliver, disgusting isn't it? You plan your day assuming you will have the products you need but in the last minute you learn that they are not delivering as promised. SHAME ON YOU GUYS. NEVER PROMISE IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE ABILITY TO KEEP UP THE PROMISE. I hoped to get better service after Tata acquired big basket, but it's going from bad to worst. Did not expect this from Tata company.

I ordered a packet of strawberry. To my disbelief, the packet had an MRP of Rs. 50 whereas I was charged Rs. 200. They cheat by charging more than the MRP
The advertise is very effective on social media. But according to that services are not provided well from them, Also very late. One day I was very tired due to late.
I downloaded big basket app during April 2020 with a great hope they deliver vegetables and groceries during the lock down period but to my surprise they app most of the time says all slots are full. But i was lucky few times and got delivery when the slots were open. Initially they supplied all item ordered when the lock down was more stringent but later last three orders some item were not supplied citing it is not available at the time of packing and the amount paid is credited in my wallet forcing me to buy again and again with them. Most of the online apps will refund the amount if the items are not available but not with this company. I feel it is unfair trad practice to forcing the customer to continue buying with them. As many customers are pointing out in their reviews the quality of Vegetables and fruits are not having good keeping quality and their policy of return is within two days after delivery and it is impossible to cut and use them within this period.so I am not satisfied with the quality and trade practice.
I placed an order yesterday, money got deducted from my account but the payment status showed pending. I spoke to my bank and they confirm that merchant has received the amount and gave the transaction I'd. I spoke to bigbasket customer care executive POOJA. She confirmed that payment is received and she will update the status and convey the message to delivery boy. However the delivery boy collects the cash. She along with the delivery boy have some wrong intentions or they are so careless and useless for which I had to pay twice for the same. When I complained about her to the other customer care executive VIJENDAR he blocked my number.
