Worst Customer service and Delay and Had Delivery Each Time

My last official email due to lack of communication within your own team of operation or warehouse or between delivery agent and packaging department. I have all the proof where in most of the orders either you took returned the product or else denied to delivery at last moment.

You always regret what you're doing with false information and advertisement that you have the product. But in the end of the ast moment the scenario changed.

With an example of one of the cases where the delivery man came on its electric scooty having a total of three bags of my ordered items and rest one of others. He didn't has any option to take one another order or big 50 or more than 50 littre bucket. As a result he said sir the bucket was not provided and it's out of stock the supervisor said the same over the call.

Hence, returned complete order. I contacted one of your agent and she said the order can not deliver with this order and I can place another order if I can see on a page. She also said she can not write anything back to me in written over an email because she has not assign any email id nor her department has any.

I tried to contact with her supervisor and now scenario changed he said the product is out of stock. I said I can order but he said it's out of stock (OOS). Hence, to proove I placed an order and he surprised. Now he confirmed from warehouse and said it's OOS. Within the call the price of this specific product got hiked upto 1400+. I share this scenario to him and with his backend ir technical team or else on its own he reverse the amount of this product to the last price at what I ordered.

Surprisingly he is not accepting that price was changed by the team and hence I started a chat and shared screenshot with no success because he didn't want to accept. So, I ended up with this guy as well and hanged up the call.

Now, due to their internally escalation and my order amount was in their custody. They get back to me and called with two different lady/girl and one person and try to understand the same complete scenario again and again with no success. All are providing generic responses and explanations.

From the time this first incident was happened to me I placed many orders of the same product and mobile app, my laptop/pc allowing me to place an order without any hurdle. This order will get rejected during the last hours of its packaging after seeing my name and account. Still available but all agents saying the item is OOS or has technical issues.

If you're right then you should inform this on any of the following: social media, newspaper, Television, at your app, at your websites or any other where customer usually visit because whenever it's call of customer to return, escalation, payment, refund, Complaint etc you use your own made policies to protect yourself. So where is customer's rights. Can you confirm if the customer has free time, money, mind, energy, person, asset to waste on you and for your policies and business and negligence?

What's the customer's fault when he paid always in advance and try not escalate the cases, take minor damage, burst, open package after paying full amount with close mount. Should the customer run round and round due to your negligence and bad habits? Is this kind of customer's service and support you provide to your customers to run your business or else your business is at now top notch and no one is competitor against you inside the market to provide more customer centric service?

The great thing is if customer faced such obstacles due to your business operation and management fauilure he can't cancel with proper resons because he has no option to select instead to cancel the order showing that customer wants to cancel his order on his own choice without any issues. Secondly, you don't have 1800... or 1860... free call. He has to spend his own hard earned money to cry in front of you over a call to explain all the things from scratch and without any success. Because you always says next time this will not happen but actually due to practice you have it happens.

Customer use online or e-commerce business due to lesser time availability and his own ease but with such frequent breakdowns and repeatedly hurting scenario really harass the customer and insult him or her.

Scam Basket worst customer care on the planet.

One of the horrible management not even fit to work in tea stall, specially HR TeamEg: Arvind in Bangalore think they are kings and treat job applicants like slaves. During the pandemic they are gathering enormous crowd of applicants and show off that they have a big office my "FOOT", with people walking in like "city market" do not have any professionality. The best part is people walk in without wearing any mask has no idea or basic knowledge about the current pandemic situation. The worst part is even after calling so many people for interview they expect every one to carry a hard copy of resume instead of soft copy. The people in the HR team are so uneducated because even after the applicant offers his personal laptop to view resume the illiterate HR tells they are running the building with limited power supply and cannot power the companies printer hence check with the security guard to find a near by cyber cafe to take a printout of my resume. Even after you go to nearby cyber cafe which is 2+2 km away and many are closed due to the pandemic crisis and you get the hard copy of resume.
Then the HR takes his lavish 2 Hours lunch break and come back do not have the basic courtesy or humanity to ask if the applicants wanted to take a lunch break goes straight into the HR bay and puts his ph on loudspeaker and speaks loudly with his friends and continues to enjoy his time and then comes at tells only 2 people have been shortlisted out of 35 people and will have to wait for a written test. The worst part is still not over then the HR comes out with a 3 pages print out of a screen shot taken of a social media customer reviews on Big Basket. When i read those review then i understood how sad are all the customer with big basket. There was 15 reviews in those pages. Majority was 1 star. Actually 13 was extremely unhappy customers who are fed up calling their so called customer service number with no response or unresolved for more than weeks. Only 1 out of 15 customer had given 5 star rating with no comments may be that was a fake review given by big basket employees. Finally, they expected me to write like a school kid on the empty spaces of the aptitude pages with out even providing an empty answer sheet. I have seen several interviews in my life but never a worst experience like BIG SCAM BASKET. If a person is selected in BiG Basket they will have to type an email or social media every thing is on the computer but these "MORONS" HR team wanted people to sit and write replies to those reviews made by customer instead of giving a test online on a computer. It took 2 HRS to write the replies and once you submit it the HR. The HR tells the hand writing is not clear for both applicants. As i mentioned in the start out of 15 people only 2 were shortlisted and both hand writing was not clear. My god unbelievable and expected to rewrite the whole thing all over again for another 2 HRS. The other candidate accepted to rewrite all over again with out even taking a lunch break and it was already past 5 PM. The dumb HR Arvind tells we will call you once he approves the written test which would hardly take 10 mins to read and never calls back and when you call back to check what happened. Moron Arvind tells i did not pass written test and was rejected. I have 9 years of International voice experience, also was handling SME, quality control, Team leader, Trainer. I have never been to so many corprates but nun was so worst. Hope the Owner of BIG BASKET checks what is happening with the management or all his hard earned invested money on his business will vanish from the market with huge losses because of these irresponsible staff members. I am not jobless to sit and type so much but i don't want other people to get cheated by this company and waste their valuable time and money. Better search for other reputed company who have some standard in the market.

My name is Pronoy Mitra and I was a delivery boy of Dhapa Hub Kolkata, my employee number is 5585. I am writting this to share an experience with you of 31st May 2020. I started my day from Table number 3 Dhapa Hub and out for delivery. There was an order of 5 Goranhata Lane in first slot along with some other order also. After reaching to the spot I consolidated the crates and marched for delivery. After reaching to the address I rang the door bell and after waiting for few minutes a lady came and opened the door. I entered through the main door of the house and asked the lady where to keep the items. Then she asked me can you leave the items to the first floor? Then I said no I can't, due to pandemeic (as the BigBasket's promise is- door step delivery not to the room or any interior part of the house), then she replied to drop the items to a corner. Before starting the delivery I again asked her to bring a bag to take the delivery as she was not having the same with her, on basis of that she replied that to bring a bag she again need to go to upstairs and she can't go for the same and asked me to drop the items there only. Then I started to deliver the items as per the invoice. Meanwhile her father came and asked her why she is taking the delivery at down stair? I should have dropped the items to the first floor, then she replied I refused to go upstair on the ground of virus issue. Then he started to shout on me and used some bad languages also by saying "eder sob bandrami ekhane"- means all monkey like activity here only. I said he can not use this languages to a delivery boy as I ready asked her daughter before starting the delivery then he said her daughter that she should have refused to take the delivery and returned the items and later he would have understand with the office. Then he again shouted on me saying you shut you mouth begger. Then I said him that before saying all this just try to understand the situation of the delivery boys there are many delivery boys who are highly educated and have hand of experience in their respective field they all lost their job due to corona. As an answer he said I do not want to hear all this stuffs, you just drop the items and get lost. After completing the delivery I left their place and immediately tried to call to the office (to Mr. Manas, Mr. Ratan) to inform all this, but both of their phone was busy and I moved for next delivery. After finishing the next delivery I again tried to call to the office but again it was busy. After some time I got call from Mr. Ratan Shaw and I described the entire incident. Then comes the most shocking part he said me as you have joined as a delivery boy you should be mentally prepared fo hear all this, if you are not ready to tolerate all this then no need to come to office from tomorrow. I asked Mr. Ratan as an do MBA I deserve to listen this kind of language from a customer? He replied you must be an MBA but if you have joined as a delivery boy you should be mentally prepared to listen all this without any cross answer to the customer.

Now my question to you is- should a delivery boy wheather an educated or less educated deserve this kind of behaviour from the customer and from their back office staffs? Are the delivery boys not human being? Does not they have any respect? Why they would hear this kind of language from customer as well from the back office? Is this the work culture of BIG BASKET?

WORST/GARBAGE/FAKE/FRAUD ONLINE E COMMERCE SITE

I have ordered grocery online on 03-06-2019 for 895Rs and I have booked time slot for my order delivery for today morning(04-06-2019) from (7 to 9.30AM) but I didn't got my items so I called their costumer care regarding the same at 9.30am today in morning they said you were not reachable so we have changed your slot for today evening between 5-7 pm but now when I have called them at 6.45pm in evening they said your order is cancelled as we don't serve in your area after listening that I had heated argument with their costumer care executive. Then I asked their costumer care executive to refund my money and send me Refund Reference Number on my given mobile number or else email/message me regarding the cancellation of my order they said we don't provide any such details then I said them to please send me text message on my registered mobile number regarding the cancellation has been done and refund is in process then they said we don't give in text any such information to costumers when I asked their executive that when I will get my money they said it will take 7-9 working days to get your money back to your account. Now my concern is why they have blocked my money for 9-10 days as they have to cancel the order or why they have confirmed my order for the selected area if they don't serve in my location with pincode ******* now also it's showing on their site that they serve in my location. 2) Why they are not ready to provided me Refund Reference Number if they have initiated the refund. 3) Why they are not ready to send me email/text message on my registered mobile number or on my registered mail id regarding the cancellation of my order. 4) why they are telling lie since morning that your order will be delivered by today when they don't want to deliver it or have cancelled it. 4) when I called them in morning their representative cut my call three times then on forth time they talked with me when I shouted on their female executive. 4) when I was on call with their costumer care representative at that time their executive was continuously changing his words first he said refund is initiated but when I asked him to give Refund Reference Number he changed his words and said refund amount will be initiated not initiated till now. 5) They were having my three mobile numbers so how call was not reachable all numbers are in service and all three numbers are of different service providers.

At last I want to say that their top to bottom level executives are just doing fraud I am having their call recordings which shows how they are running their fake/fraud business and blocking costumer payment to get interest on that money from bank, They are such cheap persons that they can give any fake excuses to get rid out of problem. I have done shopping from Grofers who are their competitors in the same field but never faced any such issue. I have used Myntra, Tatacliq, Amazon, Flipkart on regular basis for placing an order but after return/cancellation of order they provide Refund Reference Number to track your status of your refund amount in your bank.

Worst/useless/fake/fraud online shopping site I am having all proofs against them I will initiate this issue forward to get justice against such fraud peoples. Now also its showing on their site order is cancelled and amount will be refunded back to your Bigbasket wallet who has told them to return my amount in Bigbasket wallet I have never told them to refund in this wallet I want my amount to be returned by same payment mode as I have used while booking.

Escalation over the bad experience with Big-basket

Hello there,

I would like to highlight a few concern I had with big-basket as an organisation, I know you are not in a mood to resolve the concern but I would definitely like to ensure that the type of the service I had faced in last four days.

1. rescheduling the order to the Next day without even asking or bothering about the customers timing.
Description: The order was supposed to deliver over the Saturday night but the system decided to deliver it over the Sunday. Say's customer care executive.

2. The Delivery executive lied about me not being at my house.
Description: I was there at my house and the time I tried to reach out to the delivery executive 5-7 times then after the executive answered that I ain't at my house when he reached. After several arguments, he decided to come back for the delivery and it didn't take him more than 5mins to reach my place. He again lied that he was 6 KM's away from my house.

3. The items delivered was spoiled and wet in the oil. The items replaced by other items.
Description: As the details provided by the executive came to my place the Oil packet was leaked hence the items delivered was messed. And the rice (Dawat basmati rice) wasn't available hence they replaced it with the local rice brand.

4. The order got cancelled as soon as the order reached my place.
Description: The executive called his superior and the guy on the other side of the phone call suggested me to replace the order or pay for the order in cash in exchange to the order got cancelled. First of all who the hell cancelled the order if I haven't. Secondly, Why would I pay for the items I have already paid in advance.

5. The cancelled order refund went to the big-basket wallet.
Description: Do you guys even understand the logic of a wallet? Why would anyone use a wallet if you guys don't let the customer take out the money in their respective bank account? Surprisingly the money got refunded in the BB wallet. Have I asked you to do that? Must be a system error again... No?

6. The "Refund to the source" takes 7 working days.
Description: Are you kidding me. Were you guys sleeping when our honourable Prime minister has planned the digital payments? Why you guys need 7 day's to refund the amount? If someone in need has stuck in the wallet you have created. He would die waiting for your refund. Is that what you want your customer to experience?

7. Avoiding customer request.
Description: The customer care executive are on toes to put every blame to the system. Not everyone who buys products from you is illiterate like you. If the system can do a mistake any manual intervention can overcome the impact of it as well. The BB Wallet, Rescduleing the delivery time date, Cancelling the order. Does this suites you at all? If it does congratulations on losing another customer. If a customer needs his money back give him back ASAP. Should not take 7 long days to do so.

CHEATING Complaint 1) 5 months back I tool BBSTAR, I PURCHASED BBSTAR MEMBERSHIP ON PROMISE THAT I WILL GET FREE DELIVERY FOR ORDER ABOVE 300/- FROM BIGBASKET AND I SHOULD GET A CASHBACK EVERY MONTH FOR ORDER POST FIRST ORDER;
HOWEVER CHEAT BIGABSKET CUSTOEMR ACRE HAD NOT CREDITED ME BBSTAR for my orders purchased in FEBURARY, AS MY LAST MONTH STARTS ON 26TH January BUT SINCE 26th JANUARY 2019 I have purchase 4 orders But MY FEBURARY MONTH CASHBACK FO 100/- IS NOT CREDITED BIGBASKET FRO MY SPOUSE ACCOUNT (*******@GMAIL.COM)

CHEATING COMPLAINT 2)ON LAST THURSDAY WHIHC WAS ON 31ST JANUARY 2019, I PURCHASED chicken ITEM (CHICKEN KEBAB) FROM BIGABSKET.IT WAS SMELLY AND FOUL AND BADTHAT I HAD PUT THAT TO MY DOG WHO HAD REFUSED THE BAD QUALITY SELLING BY BIGABSKET

CHEATING COMPLAINT No 4) WALLET IS A SAFE DEPOSIT FO CUSTOMER, BUT BIGBASKET IS A CHEAT ORGANISATION WHO DEBITS FROM CUSTOMER WALLET WITHOUT ASKING CUSTOMER; BIGBASKET DOUBLE DEBITED FROM OUR WALLET THOUGH WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR ORDER DATED 3RD DECEMBER, BUT BIGBASKET DEBITED FOR 3RD DECEMBER WITHOUT ASKING US AND THIS WAY BIGBASKET CHEATED US... THE CHEAT BIGBASKET EMAILED ME SORRY WHEN I SHARED THEM PROOF OF OUR PAYMENT TO BIGBASKET USING OUR SODEXO STATEMENT... BUT I WARN PEOPLE NEVER PAY TO CHEAT BIGBASKET PAYING MY CASH EVER IN FUTURE.

AND THEREFORE FOR, AFTER BEING BY CHEATED BY BIGBASKET, I AM POSTING WITH ALL MY EFFORT OF FOR TELLING PEOPLE AND WARNING SHOPPERS AGAINST CHEAT BIGBASKET AND DO THIS EVERY WEEK. AND HAVE STOPPED SHOPPING FROM BIGABASKET NOW...

Utter rubbish! Pls avoid

Being a new buyer i was eager to experience online purchasing for grocery etc as i dont get this feature in a town city. Being from Mumbai I am well experienced in how the online transactions work and so for xmas vacation i decided to place my very first order on this website. Well, 5 days passed since i placed the order, on the day of delivery that was scheduled for the item they CANCELLED the main item from the order and kept the other two as it is which were only supposed to be fillers for the wallet amount that was in bigbasket. So, basically i ended up getting what i didnt really really want. Infact, they made the same item available hours before my order was scheduled for delivery and since i had to have the wallet refunded to original payment mode due to the bad experience... It only became worse when this happened. Then... I called the customer care but now the delivery slot was not possible to accomodate anymore and not only that, the value of the item had doubled. The agent seated faked an order stating he was doing it without charging me and that amount originally that was supposed to be would be charged from the wallet. That didnt happen... The agent faked a COD order only reducing the shipment charges thinking he did me the big favour. While it should have been the other way round(product price reduced). Out of curiosity i had called to find this out in detail because i didn't trust them and was right about that. THESE PEOPLE ONLY PUT UP OFFERS FOR SHOW OFF AND ACTUALLY VOLUNTARILY CANCEL ORDER ITEMS THAT COME UNDER SUCH OFFERS. Its just to pull the public then betray them because the traffic gives them popularity in turn more customers. Little do they know that having morw in number is not having best in service. Unfortunately my experience has been terrible as its not possible now to receive the order as im travelling and cant get same price anymore, but just from this small experience its clear that my time has been only wasted trying to enjoy online experience with them. If you can deal with compromises after compromises and keep your mouthshut. Bigbasket which isnt even half a basket experience is meant for you. I wish i could actually give them minus and not even ONE STAR!
