STAY AWAY! Completely Deceptive descriptions of their products. Even when defective as well as fake, they REFUSE any refund except to a "BTR" account. This forces you to re-order and trust that the next item may or may not be as described on the site? I SO wish I had read the reviews first. Remember, if it is too good to be true... it probably is. ESPECIALLY in the world of online retail. Do yourself a favor and go to Amazon which stands behind their products and will do the right thing for customer satisfaction. I'll NOT forget to read reviews first next time. BTR can keep the "account credits." I consider it money spent on my education. I also intend to spread the word, so others don't continue to get scammed by this operation. Hey. At least the calls WERE answered in the U.S. That was enough to earn a single star rating. LOL: D
In RESPONSE to the BTR broken record reply...
I HAVE already contacted BTR numerous times and have several e-mail conversations. I believe your descriptions are carefully "faked" I claim you mis-represent what you are selling. The description used the word "leather" in describing my item. They were NOT leather, but instead all "man-made" materials. There were blemishes that were visible in the shiny metal decoration like sand grains. THAT is DEFECT... They were raised & sharp to the touch! Impossible to photograph, so returned foolishly believing you could see it and refund my money. The defect was never addressed again or acknowledged by your "customer service." BTR refused my money back as should have been done, but instead ONLY will put it into a "BTR" account. The defect of the item was ignored because that IS one of the instances you actually refund the method of payment is it not? I DON'T want to ever order something from a BTR account or any other form of payment to you in the future.
I don't trust you to send me what is described, or the quality of your products & their defects. I NOW have read reviews about your practices, (after the fact) and wish I had researched BEFORE I ordered. Sales Order #******* If I had not been observant I would have also been charged for "return shipping" as though I used the label enclosed... (I had not,) but that issue was resolved when I proved I had provided my own return shipping. Every where I can post a poor review, you shall have it. You know exactly and full well that your practices are deceptive.

I was attracted to BTR by the big deals on brand names and pickup option at their distribution center to avoid shipping fees.
After 10 days i got an email that my order was on its way to the distribution center and i would get notified in 1-3 days for pickup. However, 16 days later i still did not get this email. I have called twice in this timespan as i suspected the item is sitting in their warehouse waiting for somebody to notify me. The last call to customer service has confirmed this as the rep told me "its a complete mess back there" and that they had two large bins with parcels late of 2 weeks. He said that by the dates on the bins he was certain that my order was in there but that they were short on personnel to sort them out. I was assured to get an email in 1-2 days.
Well it's been 3 days and still no email. I will go there in person tonight but will likely have to wait a long time for them to dig through these so called monstrous bins to find my small parcel.
Very disappointing with the shipping. For this timeframe, i could've ordered from china.

This website does indeed have great deals and a large selection from clothes to beauty to furniture, but I refuse to shop there anymore. I ordered three pairs of sandals, they came in a bag and I was shocked when I opened it. All three of the shoe boxes where torn up, ripped and in terrible condition. I don't understand how beyond the rack would send out products in such terrible condition, I mean, their name is on the bag these sandals came on, I would never put my name on anything that was less than perfect, because it reflects terribly on the company. Now, that was not the worst part. I contacted customer service regarding the condition of my package, I got a confirmation email, but never received a response. I contacted customer service again, this time attaching pictures of the package and the condition it came in, received another confirmation email, then heard nothing. I tried one more time and again, received no response. Maybe there is no customer service department, but it is atrocious for a customer service department to ignore the customer. I'm baffled. I will never buy from beyond the rack again because I can't even believe the lack of respect and disregard they show the customers. So, shop if you'd like, but I won't support a business that doesn't care about their customers.

We unfortunately cannot say for sure if this was something that was damaged in transit or if they left our warehouse in this condition. Beyond The Rack, recently began sending advertisements. I went to the site,
Was surprised at how they ran it. You must view or buy in so many minutes,
Or you lose whatever you want. There was also a coupon, but by the time
I had tried to figure out how to navigate, I didn't know what I'd ordered, if the
Coupon ever was counted. I e-mailed them asking for clarification, I got a
Message back I couldn't understand, had nothing to do with what I'd asked.

So I called them, got no where, asked for a supervisor. He was great, reviewed
The response I'd. Gotten, agreed it didn't respond to my question, said he'd talk
To her and I went away.

Returning two items I talked to the supervisor about, I got this very unusual response
From someone. They only had one item, when I responded two were in a
Package, no refund per the use of a Visa, they finally acknowledged there were
Two items, but not returning my funds to the Visa, after so many e-mails and
Frustration, time, out right anger, it's as if we speak a different langue, I will
Delete them after this has been straightened out.

My advise, only deal with a supervisor by telephone.

My experience with BTR was pretty good when I placed my order. However, when I recently called their customer service line to inquire about their return policy, it was a disappointment. Not only are these "agents" unhelpful, they just hang up on you as they please. I called about 4 times before someone actually spoke to me, and when she did, she just read off a damn script and I asked for her to look into my order as I forgot the price of the item and she literally just hung up. Like she can't do anything more than just read off a script. Seriously? I called back again after the lady hung up on me and no one would even other picking up. Wtf kind of service is that? After i use my credit with the return, never using this stupid site again.

I ordered two pair of bamboo shoes and a sweater. The two pair of shoes showed up but no sweater. I called customer service and was hung up on the first time. Second Time finally got a person after 20 min hold time. I told them that one pair of the shoes had a longer toe piece than the other shoe by over a three quarters of an inch. I was asked to take pictures, which I did with a ruler. They emailed back that they couldn't tell the difference. They also said on the call and by email that they would try and replace the shoes however they failed to tell me if a replacement was available. Plus the shoes smelled like petrol and glue and we're dirty. They come from China and are cheap seconds. I'm sending them back but I've paid for a sweater I did not receive as well. Total rip off, poor customer service and no email after I asked where the sweater was. Guess I should notify my CC issuer I'm certainly NOT paying for unrecieved items and shipping on junk.

Oh my goodness – no just no!
Beyond the Rack? More like Beyond rip off!
I don't know how I got on the mailing list for this site but I received and email about a sale and what girl can resist a sale, am I right?
So i placed an order it said shipping was $5.99 after confirming the order I noticed I was charged $20.99 for shipping the shoes were not even that much! Additionally it said they will receive the shoes at BTR in 2-3 week then it would take them 2-3 days to ship out and I could expect to receive them in 5-7 more days! Hello? 3+ weeks for shoes when this scam artists are charging me $20 for shipping? No I don't think so!
So I call their customer service number 3 different times and held for over 20 minutes each time! Just awful! I sent emails to which they have not replied however they have sent 3 emails in 2 hours time about more sales they are having! It is just disgusting! I am notifying they local media about this scam website as well at the BBB! AND warning anyone I know to steer clear of this site! Total rip off – bait and switch.
Hey BTR – Cancel my order Refund my money and remove me from your mailing list – I don't need 3 spam emails in 2 hours when you offer ZERO customers service / Support. I would rather pay more for a company that appreciates my business.

I ordered 4 hugo boss shirt on apr/3 and just received the order today. The time was not an issue for me, however I got 4 shirts of the color I ordered in a brand I have never heard of (LeVinas). This is a scam and extremely unacceptable and unprofessional. Will not order anything from them ever again.

Horrible!

Horrible! I would have given this site a big fat zero if i could have. I ordered an Ashley watch with an owl face on April 6th 2014. Today, April 28th, I finally called to ask where my watch was and was told that it never was shipped out, they didn't have enough and are reimbursing my $100 now. We'll see if they do that... I didn't want the reimbursement, I wanted the watch that I ordered. I CALLED them because they were NEVER going to tell me that they weren't shipping the watch! I had been waiting weeks for it. I am so glad I decided to wait before buying anything else from them. I will never buy from beyond the rack again and will tell everyone about the wonderful watch I NEVER GOT...

I too along with countless other on here have been left with a bad taste in my mouth from my experience with beyond the rack. I place an order, which of course took over a month to receive (strange that other sites do not have these long shipping times) anyway, I received my order and the quality of the items was definitely NOT what I expected from the description on the site... but I received a return shipping tag with my order so I decided to call the number as instructed and return 4 of the 6 items I purchased. I received a confirmation e-mail after talking to them only to find out I would be paying more for the return shipping of 4 items than I paid to receive all 6 items... this makes no sense at all... and I would only get a credit with them which means once I place another order to use the credit I would be paying for shipping yet again. By the time all the shipping is paid there is very little left of what I paid for the 4 items... NOW I know how they sell their items so cheap... they make their money on the shipping. I am now and EX shopper on beyond the rack and have unsubscribed to their e-mails. Many other more reputable sites out there with extremely higher quality items.

I recently ordered a Louis Vuitton hand bag from Beyondtherack. I paid $176 for it. It was sold by a Chinese supplier. It is a fake and has the smell of petroleum. I called Beyondtherack about this problem of the smell and where it was made. Their answer."just wash it in water". Well, that didn't stop the horrible odor. Also, I received an answer from their service dept. that there was no history of my order. Watch out. Merchandise comes from China.!

I am very dissappointed in this site. I ordered sunglasses over 3 weeks ago, the arrival date said that it would be between 4/6 and 4/10 which was yesterday. Upon further tracking my package, UPS said they had received it on 3/24 yet I still not have received my package nor any emails with updates. This site is proving to be extremely unreliable, I would not recommend it!

I received my item timely and I don't see that it was anything but a several hundred dollar fake damaged hand bag. Beware when buying from these people. The item is damaged, does not work, and is not returnable.

It's a wonderful site

It's a wonderful site. I love the deals I am able to find, I only shop when they have deals and I can say they are great. The quality of the clothes are at par with the prices BTR offers.
The customer service is impeccable. I have had to cancel an order because it's delivery date was delayed, there was no drama. I simply stated my case and got refunded.
The waiting time is my least favorite part of online shopping but to be honest, it's not the site's fault, online shopping does come with its price which is the waiting time.
The site is highly addictive and it takes a good deal of discipline not to shop every time something nice catches your eyes.
I would highly recommend the site to family and friends.

This is the first time I have order from Beyond the Rack and I will never order anything again from them. I placed my order on March 5th and still to this date have not received my items. I went on the site yesterday and spent an hour on their chat with a rep. Line. The first person took 8 mins to respond to every question I had until I finally gave up. The second person was much quicker, 4 mins response time... lmao! What a joke. While I was waiting for my answers I got on the phone and called them. 1 Hour and 10 mins later I was finally told that my order was returned to them and they had no idea why, my address was correct and there should not have been any problems. Now they are telling me that they will re-ship my order! Wow, does that mean I need to wait another 6 weeks! Never Again! I want my order or Give Me My Money Back!

I am absolutely furious with BTR! About a year and a half ago I ordered two things from them one was received and although the other item I was told would be shipped to me I did not get and was refunded the money but that is not acceptable if you have an item an say its available and the customer purchases it that customer is expecting that item not a month later to be told that in fact they will now be refunded because there item actually is not available! I at the time understood things happen and just recently on March 27 ordered a Betsey Johnson coat that I fell in love with! I just could not wait to get the coat for my vacation coming up. Well guess what! Today I got an email that due to unforeseen circumstances my item is unavailable! They are supposed to refund my cc but that is unacceptable! I want the COAT I purchased that I was told was AVAILABLE! I looked on every site to see if I could order it somewhere else I can't find it ANYWHERE! This is absolutely the worst customer service and I want my refund now because it is not on my statement!

Hello everybody

Hello everybody,
I would like to suggest everybody not to get any stuffs from here. It took almost a month for the delivery. I ordered 6 items worth $108. I just received 3 items. The items were like exactly on the picture. But waiting for a month was not worth it. I never got the other 3 items. It says item refunded on my account. However, I have not got any refund yet. They have shipping fees too, which is expensive. So, I am not sure where the products come from. I tried to contact with the customer service. But they do not provide appropriate response. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE. I will try my best to get refund. :'(

Hi Neema, Thank you for taking the time to review BTR. We apologize for the negative experience you've had with Beyond the Rack. At BTR we not only pride ourselves on providing brand names at the lowest prices, but we also take a great deal of pride in our Customer Service. We’re sorry if you might not have been aware of our shipping policy. However, It is stated on our website under the FAQ’s and checkout page that it takes 2-3 weeks for us to receive the merchandise in our warehouse and could take up to an additional week for the package to arrive at your doorstep. Therefore, orders can take up to 1 month to be delivered. We charge your card when your order is processed as these orders are placed directly with our suppliers. This is one of the ways we are able to offer you such discounted prices. We only authorize our suppliers to send us their merchandise once the event closes, at which point we know exactly what to order for our membership as a whole.
As a private shopping club, we're actually ordering select merchandise on your behalf. Working this way helps us secure great prices and selection for our members on an ongoing basis, which is what BTR is all about. Upon receipt of your order, our suppliers ship the purchase orders to our warehouse for inspection and inventory confirmation of the merchandise. Once completed, we prepare to ship to our customers. That being said, we sincerely apologize if we were unable to fulfill your order. Since we ship most orders within 2-3 weeks, errors such as yours are not discovered until the supplier sends us the merchandise and we prepare to ship your order. Rest assured you have been refunded in full for your cancelled items. We will be reaching out to you today to confirm your refund details. We hope you give us another chance to exceed your expectations. Please know that we’re always here to help. Thank you

I thought this website was average. I purchased Chloe sunglasses and eyewear in 2010, and it arrived within a month and a half. Which was what I was expecting because it is indicated when checking out. I love the sunglasses and optical lenses. They are my favorite pair. The aesthetics of this website is average, but has some pretty great deals.
