Betterworldbooks is a very trustworthy website for any booklover! Would definitely recommend this to everyone that likes a good read but needs to save some money since books can be very expensive. The books never came in a bad shape and dont miss any pages.
We now check this site first when looking for any title. They have a lot of the titles used for a small fraction of the cover price and that has enabled us to expand our library dramatically. That is especially great as I have an 8 year old bookworm and I like to encourage her love for books. The caveat is if she loves a book she wants to own it and re-read it. Better World Books makes this possible.
I ordered over 250 books at BWB over the last 2 years. When books did not arrive or did not correspond to the description given I got a full refund. There really is only 1 minor drawback: shipping (international) is free (very good of course) but extremely slow. There is no option for faster shipment.
Haven't read it yet. Author is brilliant. Not damaged in shipping, perhaps because it is a rather large book. I have heard of problems from others. I've ordered several books from B. W. and not had a problem. To me, not worth the cost of more expensive shipping.
They should have mentioned that previous owner's name is in large letters on outside but I don't care.

No argument with the books I bought - they were great, just as described. However, the packaging used to ship the books demonstrated that once the sale is done the commitment to quality service is done too. Shipped three different sized books in what amounts to cling-wrap-like plastic allowing the packaging to be torn during shipping. The book corners (these were in used-very good condition) were bent in transit and had to be re-wrapped in heavy duty plastic by Canada Post for the remainder of the journey to me. Good quality books at mostly reasonable prices but without a sense of customer service beyond taking your money and casually fulfilling their obligation to ship your order. I am disappointed.
Was looking for a unique book on how to improve my bowling. Stumbled into this super cool book store after looking at the usual online bookstores. Found the book, ordered, received timely in great packaging and was quite amused with the letter I received letting me know my book was on the way. Now BetterWorldBooks is where I start looking.
My daughter is taking economics in high school. I told her that if she read this book she would ace the class. When I spoke to her teacher and told him we ordered the book for her he said it was one of his favorites. The authors would definitely approve buying books from BetterWorldBooks even if it doesn't actually increase their book sales.

Better World Books is a great website carrying new and used books. They have an amazing selection of titles! I had been searching for older titles from favorite authors and some missing Japanese manga titles for my son (and yep, they had both in their massive inventory!)

Only one time was I disappointed in the numerous times I've ordered. Even then they made it right by following up and eventually receiving the book that had been lost somewhere in transit. I love the great prices and selections of materials offered for my favorite authors and their series. Even a book coming from out of country was received in a timely fashion. I will continue to order from them knowing that I will be getting great service from them!
This is the perfect place for me to buy books at a reduced cost for my 6 year old son! Because he is growing so fast and can be a little destructive at times, I don't see the need buy brand new books that he will grow out of or may damage. The books arrived on time and in good condition. I will definitely order books from this site again.
I've ordered from this site twice now and am fixing to place a third order. I love how the books are so cheap, but I hate how the shipping takes so long. If you don't, however; mind used books then this is a great site. Some of the books are from libraries, but the ones I have received have either a stamp on the inside that says the book was withdrawn from the library, or has the library tag marked out, which is what libraries do when they sell books. It's just like going to your local thrift shop to buy books, except sometimes they're cheaper!

I was looking for language learning books and found so many awesome resources that I would have never thought about before. The shipping was fast and the email they sent me with the tracking information was hilarious. Great company and I am super pleased with my purchase.
I ordered 3 used books at very good prices. One book arrived very soon while the remaining two arrived more than a week later as they were shipped from a different location. All 3 books are in pretty good condition so I am happy with it. I really wanted one of the books for a long time but didn't want to spend too much on it so this was a good deal.
Great selection of books and all mine came in the condition promised. Delivery was slow but for the price (or lack of one) it was well worth the wait. I would definitely purchase from BetterWorldBooks again!
