Generally, I find Alibris easy to use. The website design is intuitive and simple to complete purchases. My only criticism is the vey poor quality of the photographs of the books on offer. Not sure if this is a limitation of your website or the quality of images provided by sellers. Condition of any book I buy is of utmost importance to me and this is often hard to asses from the very low-res pictures provided. If that could be improved it would be 5 stars from me! Thanks.

Really straightforward and I appreciate being able to browse through different editions of the same book from one page, including the publisher/year info. I wanted to buy a book for an incomplete collection so that was exactly what I needed!
1) The book I clicked "Buy" on was not available once I logged in. I would have liked it to be reserved for me.
2) The payment form said there was a problem with the billing address, but the "Use the same address for billing" option was ticked. How can the billing address be a problem in this case?

The VISA card payment didn't work until I selected "Accept all purchases" at my internet bank, which I normally do not have to do when shopping online — including when I shop online from stores that are located abroad.
I would like a simpler payment solution. The current one requires me to go to my internet bank and change the permissions so that all internet purchases are allowed.

Found the book I wanted, from a bookseller that I have chosen previously: their customer service was very good.
It kept requesting my state, even though I'm in UK and it's a county and when I entered Somerset it's cancelled my order. Second time, I worked around it but I never had that before. And I never asked to be subscribed but somehow I am. Not a good experience.
