I enjoy shopping on alibris.

I just wish that you would keep the card code number.

Therefore, I do not have to get my card, each time to make my purchases.

Credit/debit card handling is inflexible and error reporting is limited when a card cannot be processed.
Use of dark patterns means that I got signed up for the newsletter because I forgot to explicitly uncheck the box for signing up.

Great site, easy to use and have a lot of books im looking for. I dont like the standard £3.99 del charge for each book so it depends on the book and availability.

It was easy to find what I wanted, and what the price was (including postage). I know from experience that I can count of alibris.

I have had a lot of trouble with this purchase. I've spent over three hours on it, with MUCH AGGRO! Your payment screen would not accept my "Card Details". Eventually, I discovered that my own bank had blocked use of my debit card on the grounds that there was something insecure about your bank account, which I believe to be stupid, and I told them so. This problem would have been averted if the wording on your payment screen to cover this kind of event were to be changed to something like "Your bank is refusing payment". This would be true. To say that my card details were not acceptable is completely misleading, as the details that I put in were entirely correct. So I was led to believe that I was making a mistake in putting these details in, which in reality was not the case. As things were, I wrote to your Helpline, but received a completely irrelevant response, and when I wrote again, I received no reply. I also wrote to the Seller, and THEY did not reply either. So, altogether, I have felt very hot under the collar. I think that I have now just about managed to buy this book. So here's hoping that I'm right.

I would prefer to see all shipping options before entering card details. As it happens there were no other options so perhaps the wording should be adjusted at the checkout stage as it implies there are other options. For instance, I would have paid extra for express shipping. I do not want my card details saved.

Happy to find books you'ed never find elsewhere. Sadly Brexit made it much more expensive to by from UK but anyway pleased to find the book I've searched for so long time.

I would like a simpler payment solution. The current one requires me to go to my internet bank and change the permissions so that all internet purchases are allowed.

I must confess I am a little surprised that I cannot proceed with the transaction without writing a review. The mechanics of the transaction were otherwise straightforward and I am happy to place my order with Alibris. Thank You

The alibris shopping experience is always very good. However, there seem to be occasional delivery problems caused by the fact that the UK is no longer in the EU.
My last order from the UK in 2024 did not arrive.
