I have had a lot of trouble with this purchase. I've spent over three hours on it, with MUCH AGGRO! Your payment screen would not accept my "Card Details". Eventually, I discovered that my own bank had blocked use of my debit card on the grounds that there was something insecure about your bank account, which I believe to be stupid, and I told them so. This problem would have been averted if the wording on your payment screen to cover this kind of event were to be changed to something like "Your bank is refusing payment". This would be true. To say that my card details were not acceptable is completely misleading, as the details that I put in were entirely correct. So I was led to believe that I was making a mistake in putting these details in, which in reality was not the case. As things were, I wrote to your Helpline, but received a completely irrelevant response, and when I wrote again, I received no reply. I also wrote to the Seller, and THEY did not reply either. So, altogether, I have felt very hot under the collar. I think that I have now just about managed to buy this book. So here's hoping that I'm right.

Your order system is not working. I kept having to enter my card details time and time again. That is twice today it has played up.

It was unclear why an item shipped from the US to a US address should incur international shipping charges. I tried re-entering the shipping address many times to see if the shipping cost would be updated to a US internal postage. Nothing changed from the ¢11.99 shipping charge, so I had to change the source country of the book to the UK find a cheaper copy. This means it might take a great deal longer to arrive. I am disappointed in the experience which was extremely opaque, and the item may now not arrive in time for Christmas
