AWFUL service

Much like most of the reviews up here, I had order my fiance 2 dozen chocolate strawberries a good week in advance of valentines day. I paid for the guaranteed morning delivery because they have an awful window for regular deliveries and I also paid for guaranteed valentines day delivery. Needless to say long story short I ended up getting a full refund and cancelling my order. I could not understand any of the customer service when I was finally able to get through and they could not give me any indication of when the package would actually finally be delivered. By 5 oclock I called it quits because that is when my fiance got out of work. Totally ruined the surprise and valentines day. I'll never use them again and wont recommend to anyone. Go with edible arragments.

ROTTEN!

I recieved my berries today a day late after my husband paid extra for Feb 14 morning delivery. The strawberries were small and rotten. When I opened the box it had a nasty smell. Only one was large as displayed on the website. He also ordered me pretzels they were bent, stale and 2 were cracked. This was complete garbage! I wish I would have made my own from jewel and saved alot of money and saved myself from biting into a rotten chocolate covered berry.

Very disappointed!

I paid extra for morning delivery on Valentines Day and she got the roses and strawberries about 5 days later. The roses were ok but the strawberries were not edible. I will never order from them again! Very disappointing!

This was my 4th Mother's Day, that my husband ordered Shari's Berries. The first year, I couldn't believe he spent that much money on Strawberries. After I ate them, I said... I am glad you spent that much money on strawberries, because they were so good, lol. Never again! I guess congrats on the success of the growing business, because it is quite obvious, they have gotten so big, that quality control is no longer. Most of my berries were not ripe and the quality of chocolate has declined. My husband ordered Cherries as well and the chocolate tasted like wax. We will never order again.

Sherri's berries used to be large premium quality strawberries. Now they deliver mush that I'm not even sure are strawberries. I did a search to find out why the drastic change in quality. I found an article that said Sheri doesn't actually own sheri's berries anymore. It is now owned by a big corporation which is why the strawberries are so small and the quality is now so poor. I found that the original owner Sheri has started a new company it is called berriedinchocolate dot com I am passing this information on for a few reasons. 1. we all work hard for our money and these products are expensive & 2. (The most important reason) when we send a gift like this to someone we love we want them to feel special not disappointed and disgusted. I hope that everyone will pass this information along. Hopefully if we can inform enough people we can prevent others from being disappointed.

Sharis Berries was supposed to arrive at my mother in laws the Wednesday before Christmas. I ordered plenty in advance. Never arrived. No Christmas present for my mother in law that lives alone and looks forward to her Shari's Berries. I have ordered Strawberries many times before.
Called to reschedule. The representative "rescheduled the order" for 12/28/2020 but never arrived. When I called the representative she kept trying to sell me more products. It was disgusting. Still no strawberries to my mother in law. I have sent her Shari's Berries several times with no problem. I have spent a TON of money w/ Shari's. DISGUSTED AT THE SERVICE. Would not even give it one star. I ordered in plenty of time for Christmas delivery. NOT. I am so dissatisfy and disappointed. I have spent thousands of dollars ordering from you for my clients and family. I am so disgusted.

I ordered a full dozen chocolate covered strawberries and only received 6 strawberries. I wonder how many times this has happened and I was never made aware of because the recipient just assumed I sent half a dozen? I only found out this time because it was for my husband's birthday.

Poor product

We received 6 chocolate covered berries as a get well gift. The day before we had received some from edible arrangements. Shari's were terrible. The berries were not fresh and the chocolate nearly tasteless. Threw the rest away. Edible's were so much better. Also, Shari's had way too much packaging. What a waste. Do not buy Shari's!

Disappointed
February 21, 2017

Sorry to say that we were very disappointed w/ Shari's Berries. Heard Mark Simone on radio and ordered 1/2 doz strawberries for $20 for wife for Valentine's day. They were not quite ripe and the bill came to over $55 w/ reg shipping. That's $35 for regular shipping and tax. What? The tax should not be more than $3, and shipping should be no more than $10. Not a good experience... Alex

Ridiculous
February 3, 2021

I thought it would be fun to send my friend some chocolate strawberries for her birthday. Mistake. Supposedly FedEx couldn't find her address do they will do it tomorrow. Do they have a perishable item rolling around So Calif got two days. What a pitiful gift that will end up being. Never again!

Terrible customer service
February 13, 2018

I got a call from them saying there was an issue with my order so I called. After saying what after every sentence because I could not understand the man I was told that my information didn't match with billing. When I asked what didn't match he just kept telling me he couldn't give me any information because he couldn't verify my identity. After 20 minutes of his stupidity I hung up. After cooling down I called back and got a woman I couldn't understand but at least she straightened it out. If they didn't call the house and talk to my fiance' I would have cancelled the order all together but since she knew I didn't want to disappoint her. I'll be back to review the product itself after I receive it but as far as customer service, go elsewhere.

They don't reveal the shipping charges til after you enter the whole order, fill out the card, log into PayPal, etc.! The charges exceed the actual product. I'll give her something else, thank you very much!

So sad - the berries are small and not dipped the same:-( I ordered my mom some for mothers day and she sent me a picture - I was so disappointment for how much money I spent. Not like the picture at all. I have gotten them a few years ago and they were amazing. So sad.

OMG! Worst idea ever...

I ordered a Valentine's gift over a week before February 14. It was a 79$ berries ND flowers with a 20% discount after all the upchargers were added. The vase for flowers an additional 15$ for assured delivery on the 14th 10$ for delicate care after all said and done added up to 130$? Anyways still went through with the purchase because I love my wife but then Valentine's day happened and these people didn't deliver. I tried calling the only way possible to get answers 3 times I waited on hold for ever for a lady to answer with very broken English and muffled vocals. These representatives could not communicate what so ever all 3 times I politely ask for a supervisor with better communication and they put me on hold until I hung up I would not recommend getting anything from this company

I placed an order, only to get a confirmation that it will be delivered a month later than what I chose. I called customer service and tried to explain the situation over the sound of chickens cackling in the background.

I was assured that the date was changed and I'd get an email confirmation.

Crickets...

I called back to cancel and was told that I should expect a refund for the order in one to two billing cycles...

Same chickens. Perhaps they should eat the crickets.

I have used Shari's berries twice, as a gift for my wife. The first time I ordered I got sticker shock from the shipping, but I ordered anyways. I was very pleased with what my wife got and she was delighted with the tasty berries. The reason for the high shipping is how they got shipped. To keep them cool and fresh, extra effort was needed and they did a great job. The berries looked amazing and my wife said they were the sweetest she had ever had. I know it's just strawberries but they are worth the little bit of time to order for someone special. They will be enjoyed.

Bamboozled

I first went on the website and chose an item that was $54.95 Went to grab a coupon and when i entered it the price ROSE to 69.95 I was then supposed to get a 15% discount. After checking out, I thought i had ordered twice. My order cost $112.00! There was no free shipping, no discount added at checkout, tax and delivery charges added for who knows what. I'm not happy and certainly hope these berries and flowers are out of this world since i spent twice what i planned on. And of course I can't cancel it, couldn't find anyplace on the website Doubt I'll order from them again..

Not only did they not deliver our Mother's Day gift, they sent an email saying it WAS delivered, but 1-2 days late. No call about it being late or anything. It was NOT delivered, so they were lying about it. Then when I called, they said maybe it's because of the volume on Mother's Day. I said maybe they shouldn't keep accepting orders if the volume is too high for them to keep up with. Then he tells me the replacement can be there on May 17th. This is 9 days after Mother's Day. I told him to just refund my money. This company is horrible. Out mother has been struggling and we had to be out of town on Mother's Day, so we felt bad about that. Thanks a lot Shari for not delivering.

Supposed to be here yesterday. Came today at 6:13pm. Box was warm, cold pack was warm, box ripped from being soggy. Did not smell good at all. Will never use 1800flowers again and will never order any berries of any kind from Shari's Berries.

Their website is so difficult to use and it added extra dollars on when I tried to do the 30% "no code needed promotion". Then, it switched to only 20% off when my items were added to my cart for checkout! So my $70 order turned into a $117 order. Not happy. I didn't place the order and tried to order over the phone. Their representative could barely speak English and wasn't much help to me at all. I had to repeat things to her over and over and finally I just got fed up with the whole process and told her I'd call back some other time. I let Customer Service know about my problems and they blew me off. They pretty much suck.
