VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I received candle and the base was broken. Emailed them about it, they responded w/I 48 hrs asking for pic which I immediately sent. That's the last I heard from them. They received candle (FEDEX tracking) on 5/12 at 9:30am. Emailed them 3x asking about exchange. I have yet (5/30) to hear anything or receive a replacement. This was my 2nd candle from them. I can say I won't be ordering anymore. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I ORDERED A PROMOTIONAL CANDLE THEN SENT AN EMAIL TO CANCELL ANY FURTHER ORDERS. THE PHONE NUMBER THEY HAVE LISTED IS TO A PERSONAL AGENCY IN CALIFORNIA WHO TOLD ME THEY ARE FLOODED WITH CALLS ABOUT THESE CANDLES. I EMAILED THEM TO CANCELL AND THEY SENT IT ANTWAY AND CHARGED ME 50.00 ON MY CARD. THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS CALL YOUR BANK AND REPORT THE FRAUD WHICH I DID AND THEY REFFUNDED MY MONEY AND ARE GOING TO INVESTIGATE THE COMPANY. IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR AGGREVATION BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO PUT A STOP ON MY CARD AND GET A NEW ONE. MY ADVISE IS STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
They have been charging me $50 for the past three months, and again this month but it was $100! And every time I call u never get an answer!
I ordered the Relaxation Oasis son a promotion that it would be free, plus I would get a pendant with it. They failed ton mention at any point during checkout that the items were 2 separate shipping charges. I finished my checkout with a value of 5.99, but ended up with a second charge of 2.99.
It's also been 2 weeks, I have received the pendant but not the candle. I cannot find anyour tracking information, or order information. The only email I have is saying "your freel candle will arrive shortly." I got ahold of customer service through email and was told that "my cherry paradise candle will be shipped from amazon shortly." First off, amazon? I ordered through the site directly, why is amazon shipping it? Secondly, I didn't order the cherry paradise. I get sick at anything cherry flavored or scented. So I got ahold of customer service again and was told that I cannot switch candles without receiving it first, and I will shoulder the shipping cost of the return.
I definitely did not order cherry paradise. I have not received my candle yet. And I was not aware of separate shipping costs for a free gift. I am not ordering through this site again.
I was part of their club. They were to send candles every other month. This was fine until i got laid off. I called and canceled and was told it was and I would NOT be charged any more. Two weeks later I was charged so I called and left a message for them. They instructed me to not open the package and to just send it back unopened. I did as instructed. They have NEVER returned my money and are charging me a restocking fee for a mistake they made for sending it to me in the first place after I canceled it. They now are also telling me I needed to take a picture of the package unopened before sending it back with the tracking number. I think they should be able to track this package from the original shipping track number they assigned it and should give back the full 49.99 they owe me since it was their mistake in sending me the package I canceled prior to them even sending this out. Bad business. Can't talk to anyone in person on phone and can only leave a message where they will only email you back and not call to personally take care of the situation. DO NOT BECOME A CLUB MEMBER! MAYBE NOT EVEN ORDER FROM THEM!
IMO their candles leave much to be desired. I get a better scent throw from the candles that I get from Wally World for $5, I even make candles with a stronger scent throw. It burned Uneven and the wick kept falling over, even after I trimmed it, several times. They sent me an email asking me to write a review of the candle and I did but still not posted on their website. When I looked at the other reviews for that candle, there was only 3x 4 star ratings and the rest were all 5 star reviews, I find that hard to believe! I think they screen the reviews and only allow ones they want posted. I signed up for the free candle and after just 2 weeks (only 1 week after receiving it) they charged my card $49.99 already. I was under the impression that I had a month to cancel before being charged for a "Monthly shipment" so now I have a dispute open with my CC company against them and I sent an email to *******@bellacandles.com to cancel my account, as per their instructions on how to cancel that was in the terms when I signed up for the Free candle. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
Okay for one thing people nothing is free and I am not trying to be mean but there is always a catch to a free item. When you buy a house you read the fine print, well read the fine print on everything and anything that is free. I myself ordered 2 candles and I was very happy with both candles and both rings. Both rings I have been wearing now for 2 days and no green fingers here, plus they both have the. 925 on the inside which means sterling silver.So ordered one for my daughter's Birthday and another for me and they will be here in a couple days. I communicate with an associate almost on a daily basis from this company and she is a sweetheart, and I don't even know her name but when I message her she always gets back with me within about an hour if not sooner on any questions I have.So as for me I am very happy with the service, my candles so far they smell great, and both my rings.(ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT ALWAYS, YOU DO FOR ANYTHING YOU BUY ONLINE), So saying that I myself think this is the buyers fault for not reading and not the companies fault, thank you BellaCandles.com I am one happy customer... Absolutely no customer service. I have called and emailed a million times. I was charged twice and almost 3 weeks later still no candle!
These candles have some of the best scents that I have found. I love this product and would recommend to any of my friends.
Love the candles. I purchased the large Mandarin candle last fall (October 2015). I loved it and got a lot of compliments on the fragrance. Unfortunately, once I burned the candle to the end, I discovered that there was NOT a ring inside. I contacted the company, they were apologetic and told me that I'd receive $15 off of my next order. Well, I received a text message, over the weekend, saying that my $20 gift card was going to expire. I went to the website, picked out 3 candles and then proceeded to the check out screen... waiting to add the "code" they provided in the text. Well, as you've probably guessed, there was not a place to enter the code. I ended up being charged for all of the items. I promptly contacted the company, both via email and Facebook private message. I was told that because the items are on sale, I cannot use the gift certificate. I reminded her (Silva) of the order from October 2015 when I didn't have a ring in my candle. Her reply? "Send a photo of the candle without the ring"! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Why, on Earth, was I not told this 5 months ago? I've since washed out the container to use in my home! I'm getting the run around and I don't appreciate it.
Mind you, I just placed the order last evening. I said I wanted to cancel my order... I was told that the order had shipped. I'll be interested to see what the date says on the package and packing slip!
I wanted to share my story so you can be aware of how this company handles their business.
It's a shame, as I do like their products. I had planned to order centerpiece candles for my daughter's wedding (approximately 30 centerpieces) and gifts for her shower. But, after this shoddy service, I'll be shopping elsewhere.

These products are over priced, and false advertised. The Rings are NOT sterling silver they are FAKE. Stay away!
I liked this company on Facebook a while back but I hadn't needed a candle. When the free offer came around, I thought it would be perfect to try out their company PLUS they had a Rome candle which was going to be perfect for my anniversary. When I placed the order I payed about $3 for shipping, which wasn't so bad. It took WEEKS for the candle to arrive and no one would respond to me with where my order was. When it finally did come, it wasn't the right candle, totally defeating the purpose. I tried to tell them this, but no one would respond to me. And the one who did, basically told me to wait for a manager, and then hung up. When I tried to return it and either get what I ordered or just finish this, they told me they'd refund me ONLY if I paid for shipping back! Basically I'd be spending more money so they can get some of their stock back.
That's not the worst of it though. I took a look at my credit card and There was an extra $5 posted. NO WHERE in the email did it say I signed up for anything. Apparently they squeeze it into the terms and conditions, but I didn't see any charges there either. When I called my credit card to dispute, they told me they had complaints about Bella Candles in the past and told me to change my credit card info asap because it was a scam. This was a waste of my time and energy. I'm so glad I checked my account when I did or I'd be getting charged monthly from these crooks!
Plus, there is no code with my ring, which is very clearly NOT sterling silver.
Do not order! They do not post all of the negative reviews they get on their site or on Facebook. And for all of those that say Mia Bella Candles or whatever is the problem, not Bella Candles, they're working for Bella Candles. I'm not confused. I know who scammed me. This place is awful and the customer service is nasty and unresponsive. Your patronage doesn't matter to them because they have other scams to run.

I am so frustrated over this entire situation, this company fraudulently charged my credit card after a month and a half of my canceling of my subscription of Bella Candles, the charge of $49.99 put my account into a negative balance, therefore I was charged a $35 OD fee, after trying to get in touch with this company for several days, sending e~mails, several phone calls leaving my information, along with Facebook messages, my bank now has charged my account an additional $15 OD fee, they charged this after the account has been in a negative status for 5 consecutive days. This was caused by thier fraudulent activity against my account, I have been advised by my bank branch manager to file fraud charges against this company to recuperate the fraudulent charges along with the bank fees. I have been advised to bring their information along with my original e~mail, dated 12/06/2014 that proves I canceled my subscription, this also will involve the filing of a police report... this company owes my bank the amount of $50.00 for the two OD fees that they caused against my personal bank account due to their fraudulent activity, I also fully intend to spread the word of this company's fraud behavior along with filing a report against your company with the BBB... I have been put through enough from this situation that they have created... BUYER BEWARE... DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO... IT NEVER STOPS!

That's how I got a response after submitting pics and review pics I posted everywhere... they offered to replace the candles bc they were broken instead I did a charge back and blocked all payments coming from them and sent a nasty email to the head of the company. But it took me 4 months and numerous attempts b4 I tried facebook... I think I left a negative review on facebook too
