I have now been using Ebox for 6 months, they didn't increase the price on me, and our internet speed is amazing. We are 4 using this internet connection, often streaming all at the same time, and in the case of my 2 daughters and myself, more than one video stream simultaneously because we are like that!

Here are the facts on my 1.5 Gbps Internet only:
Oct 2024 bill (taxes included): $CDN 72.44
Nov 2024 bill (taxes included): $CDN 104.63!

Being a Bell shareholder I know that this increase strangely coincides with their recent acquisition of Ziply Fiber (USA's Nort West Fibre optic internet provider) for $CDN 7,000,000,000. Are we Canadians paying for this acquisition?

I called to complain and I was shopping at the same time for my new provider (and chatting with them), and I did say that to the person at Bell. Funny enough, I can get a 1 Gbps service (enough for our needs) for $CDN 61.07 (taxes included) from Ebox, which will travel exactly on the same optical fiber, and Ebox is 100% owned by Bell. It's a case of self cannibalism I guess!

The only offer made by the Bell person from the retention department? Reduce the speed to 1 Gbps for a total price (taxes included) of $CDN 97.75! 60% more expensive than Ebox, and it represents $CDN 440.16 more per year.

I've never been so frustrated with a company in my life. Bell Canada has completely failed in every aspect of customer service. From endless wait times on the phone to the complete lack of helpfulness from their staff, it's been an absolute nightmare. First off, the customer service agents are either poorly trained or completely uninterested in solving any issues. I've had multiple interactions where my issue was either ignored or poorly handled, only to be transferred around in circles. Each time, I had to repeat the same information over and over again, wasting hours of my time.
I would not recommend Bell Canada to anyone. There are plenty of other companies with far better service and customer care. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider.

Worst company

Belittled and mocked by a bell employee after I posted online that I had no hydro, a tree across my driveway and my cell service didn't work. Told me I had frist world problems. This is the way they treat customers. No response to my private messages.

Totally untrained costumers services at bell Canada they post a deal and I apply for it trying to start the deal never happens they never send anything to use it many phone calls and they get all my information still nothing happens they send email showing confirmation and an account number when I called them for asking about it they can't find anything about it it's like different scammers gets my information one out of time after a month later they send a bill to pay I never got the deal never start the deal never use anything they provide and charging a bill to pay I told this is going to reported to Canada fraud service than they said they had a mistake they can fix it no problem they are looking for people so they can scam.

It is the worst company in human history! They are doomed! Never try to install internet services with them; just find any other company. I beg you never to use their services. Awful technical support. They weren't able to install internet service and fix all equipment and keep feeding me with their stupid blah bla blah promises. I added a photo of how their terminal looked like last month, and they just did nothing about it. One star is too much for them. If you want to ruin your life, start using bell services.

Terrible Cell Reception

We switched to Bell Mobility from Rogers as we were told that there were more towers where we live. We should have stayed with Rogers because we have very little to no service in our area. Call drops and not being able to hear us. It is a joke for what we pay a month for our services we can use.

There hasn't been an update in a long time for new stuff to bring to the TV guide for Bell and new ways to watch TV before the time they come on for TV shows and movies to access TV shows and movies before the days they come on and colourful TV Guide 😀😀 thank you for making bell TV app so amazing with all the new features and a new feature where you can view all the live TV channels that are playing on the TV Guide and watch them from anytime for that channel you guys are amazing

Changed my internet service to Bell high speed after a campaign they launched. Sounded good so I went for it and had it installed at the start of this year. They installed the cable in through the back of the house through the back deck and then left about 400 feet of cable on top of the ground out to the street, it's a 3 acre property. The cable gets lost in the grass between me and my neighbours house. Both of us have to move it to park our cars or mow the grass.
They said somebody would come and bury it initially.
It's now the end of June, I have called them 3 times and get the runaround. It's quite frustrating, I let them know last week that I wouldn't be paying my bill until the job is finished so they actually book it in to be finished last Friday between 8-12 so I took the day off work. Nobody showed up.
Basically the product is impressive, it's a shame everything that surrounds the products has a foul smell. Choose somebody else.

Can't cancel
April 13, 2024

Imagine cancelling your phone plan and being told you didn't. Then having to sit through a phone call after waiting on hold and having to answer security questions (2x since they have to transfer you over). Imagine doing this 1x a month. What a chore. This is what happens when you go with Bell. What a joke.

Poor service

2 days my business internet is down. They are kept on saying they will get it fixed at their end but still not fixed yet. It is a very poor service and business Is close for 2 days.

About eight months ago Bell was running a promotion in my area for their Fibre Optic service. I decided to give it a try. IMMEDIATELY after it was finally all set up there was a grating thumping noise coming thru the speakers. Playing music would drown it out BUT watching a show with no music was an exercise in absolute frustration and stress having to listen to this in the background. I called Bell tech and was immediately told it was not Bells equipment but mine. I assured tech that it was not an issue until I went over to Bell and again was told it was my equipment. After about eight months of listening to this constant noise and them raising their rates I decided to go with another provider. I'm saving over $30.00 a month and the noise is gone! I could not be happier and should have done it much sooner.

I CANNOT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND BELL. OVERPRICED AND POOR TECH SUPPORT.

AWFUL!

AWFUL! Made me pay $600+ for a mistake they made, took months of battling to get the money back, and sold me a watch confirming it would work without my phone when they actually don't have a plan that supports standalone! Spent hours on the phone with them for nothing, and want me to pay (again...) $600+ to cancel everything I have with them when their part of the contract has not been respected! WORST SUPPLIER EVER!

Bell cheated me

Bell called me and offered some TV program. I rejected the offer. But few hour later, I received the email from Bell. The email said I ordered the TV program (Order # BGQPZ2N2). I rejected the offer but Bell just ordered it without my permission. Bell deceived their customers, I don't know how Bell do the business like this. I was really disappointed with Bell

Worst mobile provider! Bell is a suck you in for worst reception and price gouging after you sign up. Don't make the same mistake I did. Go with any other provider, even Koodo is better. I switched to Bell and worst mistake ever, I've been dealing with a nightmare of unimaginable proportions. I'm literally pulling my hair out talking to their customer service. Fu.ck this company

Bell customer service is the worst, by far. The 'Loyalty Department' when faced with a better deal offered by Rogers, told me to "well, switch to Rogers then." Now THAT is some A+ 'Customer Retention'.
I had a problem with a cell phone bill that was too high. They told me they could make the line 'pay as you go', I said that sounds great! They didn't change it. I got the same bill again, I called again, they said they would fix it. I got the same bill again, I called to cancel it, they made me sit on the phone for an hour and a half trying to convince me not to cancel. Then they called me 15 times asking me to keep the line, finally offering me the deal I was asking for in the beginning, 35-40 dollars a month. Finally! Well, no. Same, Bill, AGAIN.
Another issue with the internet. I was paying $150 for 1 gig, I call several times asking for a better deal. Well, bell has an offer for the same internet for $75(!) a month, but I don't qualify because I'm already a customer and a POS and current customers are dogs and unworthy of loyalty deals. I was told this info by a worker at the counter at a Bell store, when I called customer retention they told me that "He shouldn't have told you that". WOW. I SHOULDN'T KNOW THAT IM BEING SCREWED, that's all the loyalty department had to say. To top it all off? During the 5-10 calls about paying too much for internet, there was another package for 1.5 gigs that was $140 a month, and nobody ever said a word, just let me overpay every month telling me there was nothing they could do about it.
Avoid Bell like the black plague.

I bought pizza pizza which came with a Crave 2 months basic free coupon. I couldn't redeem it. Called Crave and was told after 30 minutes of doesn't work on Tv-s connected through Roku. Guess that device am having is too smart for them. What a waste of my time from these liars.

Worse experience ever

Worse experience ever. Spent one and a half hour on the phone a month ago to cancel my internet subscription because the facture almost doubled. I immediately sent back the router and got the confirmation email.
One month later, I get a 110$ bill because apparently "I went back to the store to reopen my account". Don't even know where the store is, and don't even own their router. They know that. But they are okay with reopening previous clients accounts, making them pay for no service provided. I spent again one hour on the phone trying to get refunded (because they owed me 60$ from the month before as well, that they promised me) for THEIR mistake, but they played dumb, trying to sell some TV subscription instead. Would never recommend their overpriced services and the mess it was to get it cancelled.

The only reason that I am giving one star is that I can't give lower, it is really worthy of a negative star rating if rated on a scale from 1-5. I contacted them with an issue in early September. After being on the phone for over half an hour, I finally was able to speak with an agent. She said she would help, and started us through the process. She then said that she would transfer me to someone that would complete the service, and I was put on hold for over half an hour. The person that I was transferred to said that there was no record of the process that had been started by the other agent and started me through the process again, then told me to hold for someone who would complete the process. This cycle repeated itself several times until finally I was assured that the process had been completed. It is now almost the end of October, and the process has not been completed, and I am being charged hundreds of dollars for services that I am not receiving. I do not appreciate the dishonesty of Bell, nor do I appreciate Bell's virtually non-existent customer service. Please do not use Bell products or services, and if they approach you with a special offer do not sucker for it!
