The Straps of the Handbag is Tearing! I just bought it in February! Tried to Return the Micheal Kors Handbag and the Manager had a Nasty Attitude and Very Prejudice! I paid my money on something that I can not wear! THIS IS A DISGRACE! 179.00 gone to Waste!
I wish I had seen these reviews before I placed an order on Belk- not only was the price inflated but when I tried to cancel the order directly after placing it they said it was a 15 minute cancelation policy even though the shipping was standard 5-7 days and it was under an hour. They wouldnt cancel the Oder, couldnt give me the order number and then told me they couldnt issue a return slip during the call either (until I escalated to a supervisor). What a waste of their time and mine, making me take an order an order that hasnt been shipped knowing I will just ship it back. Never again Belk
As the kids say today, i wanna give kim props, kuttos, for being the most polite, helpful, courteous people i have ever met working at belk. While the other gentleman didnt want to give me the time of day she retreived a wheel chair for me and assisted me in a dept no one else was working in helped me to the shoe dept then out to the elevator
Can't follow terms on their own coupons! Phone person Says "oh its not applying" & can't say anything besides that, when the words on the coupon show that it SHOULD apply to the item I was going to get based on the words on the actual coupon! It's their error and they won't fix it. This is WHY department stores are LOSING! Guess they want to lose customers!
If you are black do not shop at the Friendly Center Belk, they will watch you and treat you like $#*!. I'm a Superintendent at a company for 29 years I will never shop at another Belk and will pass it to everyone
Tryed to buy a pair of shoes. Credit card details "did not match" so transaction was declined. Website requested my phone number so they could contact me further.No call or email confirmation recievd regarding any purchase. Checked my acccount I had one strange deposit of $55 for the shoes, then 3x consecutive withdrawals for $55. Spoke to the bank, sounds like a scam where they deposit onto the card to make sure the card is legit then take what they can out of your card. Dont do it!
My son went in to get a dressy outfit for a wedding he was asked if he wanted a rewards card and he specifically asked them if it was a credit card and they told him no it was a rewards card then a few months later he gets an email saying he has unpaid late fees and he didn't know it was a credit card that is not very transparency and for young kid to be scammed is beyond me. I will never shop at belks again
I ordered 8 place settings of Mikasa Dinnerware from a Belk's store. Got a good price with assurance that they would ship free and probably within a week. They charged my Credit Card. When I didn't get a confirming email and couldn't register to see my order, I started calling Customer Service. I was assured everything was OK and it would ship soon. By the 3rd call I was really upset and spent 1/2 hour on the phone. I was told this would be reviewed by Administration and they would get back to me within 48 hours. On Sunday morning I got an email saying due to "unforeseen circumstances" my order was being canceled... no explanation, no nothing. I checked my credit card and there was no charge. I don't know what kind of games they play at Belk's, but I will never play again. They just lost a customer for life... there are plenty of other stores to give my money to... stores that appreciate their customers.
Order placed on 8/2/19 for $112.35, a Friday. Sunday arrives, email arrives via Belk, stating order shipping... and another Belk.com charge also appears, this time for $112.34, a penny less. Call Belk CS, get told Belk is not responsible since they use a third party billing service and besides, the "pre-auth" charge will just disappear.
Tuesday, 8/7/19 arrives and the first charge, the "pre-auth" charge that should've disappeared, clears my bank. The second charge, for one penny less, still remains. Second time to Belk CS, they cannot "find" the second charge, essentially get called a liar by the CS, and besides, Belk is completely not responsible for anything their third party biller does. Guess I'm out $1112. 34... disgusting.
DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE... DO NOT SHOP AT BELK.COM, or at least DO NOT USE A DEBIT CARD AT BELK.COM. In the end, I guess it doesn't matter since Belk claims no responsibility for a company that works for them.
The store is a HUGH MESS! You never can find anyone to wait on you and when you do they are VERY RUDE,. You cannot hardly find good quality clothes because the clothes are such a mess. I miss going to the store before they sold to Belk. It was clean with kind customer service. Immediate Change for the worse. The chain Belk department stores should be ASHAMED of the appearance and employees that REPRESENT your store. Plus it is always so DANG HOT you do not enjoy shopping there. Oh and the fact you STILL cannot try on your clothes cause the dressing rooms are off limits which is stupid, you are walking around in the store so what is the point? No one wants to fool with it, that is why. Someone needs to step in like yesterday and rescue this store! The store needs to be cleaned up and hire good employees that want to be there. Order and Class welcomed.
I went to Belks in Lakeland Plaza and was amazed to see that there was just as many clothes that were returned and never restocked as there was on the racks. I shopped anyway. The second time, a few days later, I went to shop but I had a return and inadvertently took another receipt and put it in the bag. I explained what happened and told them I would bring in the correct receipt never realizing that the amount charged back to my CC was far less than I paid. I went back with the correct receipt and was told there was nothing they could do. Baloney. I wrote to customer service at Corporate and the CEO on May 23, June 28, August 6, August 25 and again October 12th, and enclosed my receipt. I have not heard a word from anyone. I truly guess no one cares. Thank heavens there are plenty of other stores in the Alpharetta area to shop.
Belks website would not let me even order. I couldn't even put in card number. So I too called and order. They charged me three times and said I was declined. This is why I shop at macys. First time at belk and they mess up my world. ( lancome) made me do it. So I call her back and she says there is no order it declined me, so why three charges. "Oh. It will drop off in 48hrs". Yeah right. She also said website not messed up. You need to use Google chrome. Really@!#/&&*(() £%÷×@$/.
If you order online they place a hold on your card of course but when the item ships it's supposed to be released and charged but twice they have charged my card and not released the hold for days later. This has caused me to not be able to use my card again on both occasions. I thought it was the Belk card but Synchrony that holds the Belk account says it's not them that it's Belk and to contact Belk to release the hold and to tell them it shows as charged. The first time I gave up with the cs agent but this te I got to a supervisor who said that even tho they shipped and even tho they charged the hold won't be released for up to 7 BUSINESS days! I am basically being double charged until THEY decide to release it! I don't think that's legal and has cost me from buying things at the store or ordering for Christmas!
I placed an order with them on 12/27/15 and then I checked my account on 12/28/15 and I was charged again. I called to ask them why and they said it was my bank and I said no boo boo it is you. They charge when you make the order and then when the ordered is processed and shipped they charge again. I told them I shop at Nordstroms, Macy's and Bloomingdales's and I have never ever been double charged. They say the first charge will fall off after the standard 5 to 7 days. What if checks are coming in and what if you need the money?
I asked them well why doesn't your website make people aware of this before they order. Ummmmmmm dead air. Buyer beware!
Bought a quilt Waialea Bay Quilt - King size $84.00 + taxes I looked on line and saw 90 days return - so I return within that time frame - When I got to the Belk store the manager told me I was not on there website and that I only had 30 days for return and she could give me a return of $22.00 yet if I purchase it today it would be a purchase of $84.00 - WHAT THE CRAP! So why am I not getting the $84.00 back>? That is STUPID! Not shop with them again and NOW returns are only 7 days and shoes jewelry and other stuff ae final sales no returns all because can't get anybody to work - what a load! If it's a sales or return works both ways - - - SLACK!
I ordered the wrong Item. Tried 4 minutes after I placed the order to cancel. They don't answer emails and I was on hold for 45 minutes and they told me I missed the 15 minute window to cancel, so I was out of luck! They are rude, unfriendly and should NOT be in business! You will not get your money back form this FAKE COMPANY!
I placed an order online. I kept getting emails that I hadn't placed my order yet and my cart was full. I placed the order again and ended up receiving 2 orders. Bell couldn't find the order. I waited on hold 3 times for 30 minutes. Each time I was promised a free return shipping label, which never arrived. I finally paid for shipping and enclosed the receipt for reimbursement. The order was $57 plus $20 shipping. I received a reimbursement for a total of $14 instead of $77. I will NEVER do business with them again!
Good luck getting a refund from this company. A month ago I returned a $115.16 order and they gave me credit of $19.19. They are now telling me to contact paypal and file a dispute even though I have an email from them stating they got the return and were issuing a full refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I had a bottle of perfume for my daughter n law and Fed ex said they delivered it yet DID NOT! I filed a claim with Belks and emailed them 6 times yet no reply and they are still charging me for the product!
