I ordered a dresser 8 weeks ago and was told then that there was a 4-6 week delivery. DELIVERY, not shipping. It has now been a full 8 weeks since I ordered and I have inquired twice about the fact that the item has yet to ship. I have been given two excuses by the company for why it has yet to ship, however the fact remains that it has yet to ship! I have now spent more than $1300.00 and after 8 weeks the item has yet to ship!

Only if you sort their reviews from low to high, do you get to see the real comments. The rest are all made by 'comment farms' who leave 5 stars with names like 'Cindy, Sheldon, Jack, Bob', you get the drift.
This is one of the WORST companies I have dealt with in my life. You'll see a common thread in the low rated comments -
1. Shipping takes months, sometimes close to a year if you're incredibly unlucky.
2. Horrible customer service (they are just the in-betweens for communication and have 0 power to help), refund charges, and in general sneaky tactics to hold on to as much of the refund as they can.
3. The mysterious escaping furniture. My mirror and chest were 'lost' at the delivery partner warehouse. Many others have commented about this phenomenon. Then you can order another piece, and… that takes months.

Unfortunately these reviews don't help online customers, it's the business model and not this particular company that's to blame. If Emmamason/'Bedroom Furniture Discounts' loose their reputation, all they have to do is rename the company anything else - 'discount furniture mall', and start afresh. Buy a few hundred 5 star reviews from the comment farms I mentioned above, and they're set!

As another commenter mentioned, I'll make it my mission too to post a review on every online review spot. I hope it saves even one person the loss, aggravation, and stress.

I love my furniture. It's beautiful. I was very hesitant to order online, but the reviews were all so good that, after watching their video on the delivery process, I went ahead and bought a five piece bedroom set.

The site said the furniture was in stock and usually ships within two weeks. I placed my order on October 22,2021. I finally received the last of it on November 29,2022. That's right, it took over a year for me to receive all of my furniture. I can't really blame the company. Supply chain distribution issues were a problem for everyone the past two years. However, the delivery company they use for my area (Southeast), was just horrible.

Four of the five pieces I ordered were damaged in the shipping process and had to be reordered. The delivery company got my order in bits and pieces and seemed not to be able to connect them all together and kept trying to say they had my order when they only had a few of my items. They then confirmed that they had ALL of my items, but only delivered three of the five, one of which was damaged, so they took it away again, but marked my order as being complete, even though I was still missing two items and they'd taken the damaged item away. The damaged item had a broken support foot which, I believe, they themselves broke during the delivery process. They took it back to the warehouse, hacked off the damaged support foot, filled in the hole with wood filler and then attempted to redeliver the same damaged piece. An excellent furniture repair person was sent to my house to repair the piece, and I am satisfied with the repair.

All in all, one year, four total deliveries, and one repair person later, and I finally have my furniture.

Would I order from them again? Maybe. The furniture is beautiful. Customer service is adequate: responsive, but based out of India, so very thick accents and roosters crowing in the background, which makes for a fun adventure. Delivery company: lousy and incompetent - NOTHING like the video on their website. But the price for what I received was exceptional, so it's a solid maybe... maybe.

Dishonest

I purchased a bedroom set on May 1,2021. Most of my items were finally delivered by December 2021 with 2 pieces broken upon delivery and had to be replaced. The bed, however, was delayed 8 times even though the website said it was in stock even though their employee on "chat" confirmed it was in fact in stock. On the 8th delay I was told it wouldn't ship until January 2023, 21 months after my original purchase. I then realized I would never receive my bed and opted to cancel.

I was told I would receive a certain amount in writing as to how much refund I would receive. Once the cancelation was final, I was told a lesser amount. The company refused to correct it even though it was their error and I'm still waiting on my refund.

Had I known of the dishonesty, lies, and deceit I would have never made the purchase and stuck with my local furniture store. By the way, once I canceled the bed, I purchased the same bed from my local store last Wednesday and it was delivered the next day.

They have lovely toddler beds, and we quickly found something we like. Besides, we paid for it about $150, which is a great deal! The quality is outstanding, and we didn't waste much money on a bed, which we would need to sell sooner or later!

We ordered a Bedroom set on September 2021, they delivered half of the order on Dec. 2021 and till now still waiting for the second half, we sent more than 4o emails and they keep saying the something, "sorry for the delay we still waiting for shipper availability to ship the items" they will never give you a specific dates, best thing to do is disputing the whole amount and never to recommend this company to anyone, they don't care about customers or do any effort to satisfy their customers

A complete rip off

This company is a complete rip off. I ordered something from them april 14.2022. I still have yet to receive the merchandise. Now I'm currently fighting with them to get my money back. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

This company is a joke

We waited patiently for months for a bed delivery. Every time we contacted the company we were told Vincent is out and they will get back to us. Suddenly, we got an email stating they do not deliver to our area anymore (NY State, Orange County). They asked us to provide a business address and a port for delivery. I had to google it this was a very strange request. Of course we are unable to provide that. They offered to use another shipping company, which we would have to pay for, $120, but their estimated shipping is in 2 more months. At this point we opted for a refund and they have been evasive, hopefully we receive the full refund. This was a complete headache and waste of our time and money. We have many more furnishings to purchase but will obviously go elsewhere. I had never dealt with such poor customer service especially from a company that declares they are customer oriented.

Scammers

Their white-glove service set up the furniture to look like it was not damage! Did not notice for a few weeks and the drawer started falling apart. They offered me 150.00 on a dresser that cost 2000. 00 DO NOT TRUST THEM, BUT SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Great Products at Great Prices

I ordered a master bedroom set in September after seeing it at a retail store - I saved at least 40%. Due to supply chain disruption and transportation delays, the set arrived at my home later than I was hoping, but I was kept well-informed by Nesie in the Success Department. I love my new Liberty set. Great product for a great price with service to back it up.

My experience with Emma Mason Stores is I would say unusual. Even during these trying times they delivered my furniture way ahead of time that it was supposed to arrive. Great Customer Service

I want to take this opportunity to send a BIG THANK YOU to Nesie Yumul. She made our furniture shopping experience awesome. Her expert knowledge was evident and she made us feel comfortable when speaking to each furniture piece. She helped us pick the right furniture for the right rooms. Nesie continued following up on a weekly basis up until delivery day.
We are now all set, and we can't be happier with our furniture.

Nadir I. Is the best! I ordered a bed frame and mattress in the spring. With COVID and shipping containers sitting on ships it took a while for my bed to arrive. I wasn't in a hurry and this was the product that I truly wanted. Nadir always answered my emails promptly and kept me up to date on what was going on with my order. He provided exceptional customer service. I would attach a picture but I'm still in the process of painting. All boxes arrived in perfect condition, so I'm sure there will be no issues with damage. I would definitely order from here again and hope that Nadir would be the one to manage my order.

Furnishing our new home

I was moving into a new house and was looking to do a refresh on our furniture. I knew what I wanted, but going through an on-line retailer made me a little nervous. The prices were good and they did offer some good financing so i took a risk.
From the moment I called and throughout the process, they were very responsive and actually reached out to me on a regular basis to ensure i was aware of the status of my order. Yes, the supply chain was a little broke due to COVID which created shipping delays, but it was an issue with the furniture manufacturer rather than Bedroom Furniture Discounts. Mobi was particularly helpful and attentive throughout the process to ensure I had minimal stress. I could not have had a better customer support associate.

I could not be any more happier with my purchase and the service. The bed looks great. The customer service was ourstanding. Mobi was awesome and kept us updated about our order every step of the way and answered every questions we had. We ordered the bed in February but with Covid it took a few months to get the bed, which is totally understandable, given the circumstances. But it was well worth the wait and white glove delivery was amazing. Everything was handled professionally in every aspect. From the ordering to the follow up and delivery. Every person involved with this transaction were nothing but amazing. The delivery guys from Deliveright were very professionnal and careful while hadling the bed. I highly recommend this company and the furniture. I would definitely buy again in a heart beat. Thank you again Mobi, Bedroom Furniture and Deliveright.
