Canadian Website Lacking

Bath & Body Works has some nice products, however if you're a Canadian customer the website is quite lacking. All you get is a store locator, a few photos of current promotions and a place to sign up for emails and coupons (which doesn't always actually put you in the system.)

If you visit their Facebook or Instagram profiles and check out the comment section you'll notice comment after comment from customers asking for a Canadian site to purchase items through. The company simply invites you to purchase them from the US site... wonderful that only increases the prices based on both exchange rate and the shipping. Although not a new issue, with current pandemic conditions one would have hoped that it would be the push needed to finally get the Canadian shopping site... but no such luck.

I signed up for the US coupons and tried to make a purchase through the US site, however it would not accept the cupon due to the Canadian shipping address, so no cupons either. It really makes you feel like they just don't care about their Canadian customers.

Very disappointed

So I always order my soaps from them until now because I ordered soaps and I didn't get them all and when I called and told them that I just received the package open it up and didn't get all my soaps customer service lady was very rude she acted like I was stupid she told me that it was on the invoice I told her that I know it was on the invoice I also have a copy of the invoice but it was not put in my box she continued to be rude I told her that I want my soaps that I paid for or my money back so after 20 minutes of this she then mailed me my one soap that I was missing that was after I had to wait another 15 days to get so I waited 30 days to get one soap won't shop from them again they want my money to pay their paychecks but yet they're going to act like I'm stupid and be rude to me no thank you I'll go someplace where customer service is much better where they appreciate my business

Was really annoyed to check my email and see a today only online/instore bath and bodyworks coupon for handsoaps at $3.25 delivered after 8 pm to my email last night just to go to the link this morning and find out the online offer expired and the offer was only valid in store especially after having some handsoaps already picked out prior to the sale and in my cart to purchase... like bath and bodyworks when do you think normal people sleep could have had it online for at least 24 hours

Wouldn't accept cards

I tried using your promo "SUDS", I used my card and my husband's card (which both have money on them) and it said there was an issue running both cards. I've never had a problem with ordering on your site and I am very bummed we missed out on your $3.25 for hand soaps.

I love Bath and Body Works. I've always went in the store to purchase before Covid hit. I chose to Order online for the first time. When I first put in my order I was excited to be getting a fragrance they know longer sale in the store Tahiti' Dream. Next thing I know I get a email they no longer have it, and that my order is delayed. I finally get my package late to my surprise. The tops to the sprays have residue on them! Please do better BBW. People spend hard they hard working money. I don't recommend ordering.

I spent over 500 dollars in bath and body works and for there reward program I get nothing but a 16dollar gift. Bull $#*!! There rewards program $#*! sucks. I'm done spending my hard earned money there. I'll just pay a booster, at lease ill get half off with no tax and still the price is negotiable!

Price increases are too dramatic! I understand COVID-19 has impacted sales in all business but B&B prices were increasing greatly before the pandemic. Most business are now offering LOWER prices to motivate buying. B&B has done away with coupons and specials such as "buy 3 get 3" or "buy 2 get 2" Aromatherapy". The Semi-annual sale used to have special sales days, "body cream $5 each", "lotion & body wash $4 each", "wallflower refill 2-pack $5 each" and 75% off discontinued items. It is almost $8 for 1 oz. Hand cream, first sold under $4 each. I can purchase an 8 oz. Body cream (thicker than hand cream) at $4.80 each (buy 3, get 2 free). I counted 15 stores within a 60 mile radius from my home. I'd rather drive an extra 5 miles than pay the large & continuing price increases. Most stores with cosmetic products are now selling quality bath products and their prices are quickly becoming the "better buy".

DISHONEST POSTING

I ordered sanitizers and hand soap that were listed as available on the website. I needed the sanitizers and that is why I submitted order in the first place. AFTER SHIPPING my soaps, they sent me an email saying they cancelled the sanitizers since they are not available. Immediately, I went to the website, took pictures with time stamp showing that my sanitizers are listed as available and have been since my order 2 days ago. The emails from BBW and my pictures of the website were within 20 minutes of one another. This is VERY POOR FORM AND I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU AGAIN. HONESTY IN ADVERTISING.

My family and I have been faithful customer for years and we purchase items throughout the year both in store and on-line. Today is the start of their clearance sale and guess what, you can only purchase clearance items if you go into an open store and this was confirmed via email and phone-call that there is no ordering of clearance items on line. Well, there are no open stores currently around me so I'm not able to take advantage of the clearance sale. But wait, I can still purchase full price items and other normal sale items on line. How stupid is this, why not put your advertisement out as no clearance sale this June in stead of telling me I must risk my health (I'm high risk) to purchase your items at a great price? I know what I can do and that is no longer purchase any item from your company and yes, I know I'm only one customer but that's all it takes to start something is one person.

I wish I had read some of the reviews before I ordered online. During the pre-covid 19 days, I never had a problem with extended shipping times. Now it takes nearly a month to receive anything! I love bath and body works, but I won't be ordering online again until they can get their shipping back down to a decent amount of days. Sorry!

Stay away from this company if you actually want to receive the items you pay for. They charged me in full, failed to have my complete order and then... they never delivered my package. They have given excuses, lies and zero refund.

Do place an order with BBW online unless you want to wait a month or two to get your order. Placed an order 04/24,13 days later and still hasn't shipped. Called customer service to cancel and they said no, can't cancel but you can return it when you receive the order. Um, excuse me? The only reason I want to canvass because you're taking too long to get me my order. I don't see this company lasting with such poor customer service.

I was never informed that the order I placed on 4/26 would take till May 15th? Unacceptable! I should have been informed at time of order. I was told that shipping was a bit behind but NOT this long. I am quite upset as gifts for
Mother's Day was placed and now I will have to purchase another.

Frustrated

I get so frustrated because they have really great scents that I fall in love with but then they ALWAYS discontinue them! These other scents that they keep around are just so-so (if not actually stinky) and just very generic-smelling. My all-time favorite was Banana Fey back around 2003 or so, but a more recent favorite that they've discontinued is the Rose Water & Ivy. They also only bring out Watermelon Lemonade during the summer and only for limited products; I would literally buy the entire line of this scent, why are they not capitalizing on that one? Same with the Limoncello scent. And why oh why would they ever discontinue their sparkly hair perfumes? That was like a dream come true and they just took it away! I get so very frustrated with this company! Give us better stuff!

Not impressed

I had a coupon for bath and body works for $5. I submitted my order. After all said and done I received a email stating they did not have one of the products I ordered. I would have ordered another item, but they did not ask me if I wanted to order something in its place- hench they took the coupon off my refund. Gave it a shot. Won't order online from them anymore

Always Something Going On

The seasonal sales are something I look forward to every year. I love the ability to stock up on my favorite scents during B&BW B3G3 sales! The savings are immense, but so worth the wait!

I prefer to shop online and avoid the chaos of the malls during the holiday season. Every shipment from B&BW has arrived in perfect condition. They really take the time to carefully package every order so it arrives undamaged and ready for use or gifting.

I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for flattering, soothing, and invigorating scents in lotions, body sprays, body wash, candles, and even travel sizes for your purse!

They took my money.

Do not go to the store on 1600 Highwoods Blvd Jefferson Village they stole my money. I forgot that I had a 10 dollar coupon, so I told the girl about it and all she said was that she would credit the money back and I could then repurchase it right away. But the stupid cashier never told me it would take 3 to 5 days to get my money back. The supervisor or manager that was there should be fired for letting a customer leave upset. I would like to say I will never purchase a item there as long as I live. So in return I walk out with nothing. And I will never step in Bath and Body ever again.
