I placed an order for a baseball glove on Monday and chose the next day shipping option. If you place your order before 3:00 p.m. CST, the item will be shipped the same day. I placed my order at 2:00 p.m. CST, received my email confirmation at 2:08 p.m. CST, but did not receive a shipping confirmation email that night. I called the next morning and asked where my order was and was told it was going to be shipped that day. I informed the customer representative that the order should have been shipped the day before with next day shipping. He apologized and said he would refund my shipping costs. Okay, great. Figured I could live with getting it a day later. Wednesday morning I track my package and see that it shipped it 2nd day and not Next Day like I had originally chose and paid for. Now the glove that I needed Tuesday, won't get here until Friday and I needed it by Wednesday at the latest. NOT HAPPY! If you need something urgent, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. Now I have to scramble and find a glove for my son to use for a tournament this weekend.

So then in January they told me it would arrive to them in their warehouse on February 5. When I called on February 14 to inquire about it, they said it would not arrive until March. First off, how irresponsible for them to sell an item to customers that THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE. Secondly, their only solution is to cancel the order. Thirdly, their lack of communication with the customer is frustrating. This company uses cut rate delivery service took 2.5 weeks from order to delivery for instock items. Not woth the hassle to save a marginal amount
If you only want the best price and dont' care or are unconcerned should there be an issue with your order, than by all means, go with Baseball Savings. However, if you expect at least some decent customer service, please stay away. I have returned to purchase items from BS but time after time, order errors, cancelled orders without any notice and flippant customer service reps are mostly what I've experienced in dealing with this company. Yes, I've gone back because of their prices but enough is enough. I suspect the reason they stay in business is because while customer service, timely deliveries and errors are the norm, the good prices keeps them afloat. The latest disappointing transaction, while maybe not a real big deal to some, was with an order I placed for batting gloves. The items I wanted were available, listed as being "in stock" and at a decent price. I placed the order, got the order confirmation email and waited for the next email with the tracking information... after a week, I checked back to see the status of the order and, as has often happened before, learned that it was cancelled. There was, as usual, no explanation and I never received an email letting me know the order was cancelled. To add insult to injury, when I checked my credit card, the pre-charge was still holding my card up. They apparently charged my card, or at least started the process, but did nothing to cancel the order with my card. I have placed many orders with BS and have to say, they run at about 50% with respect to getting it right. In the past when they sent me the wrong item, they asked that I send it back to them... at my expense. Bottom line, if you want hassle free shopping, do not go through Baseball Savings. However, if you want good deals and aren't concerned that the aggravation and extra expense may negate the good deal about 50% of the time, by all means, support this on-line company. For me, I've just been burned too many times. It's a crap shoot so if you like to gamble, well, good luck to you.
Ordered an helmet on 2/25. Called them on 3/3 to confirm a ship date when I was "promised" to be shipped out "today". Now, it's 3/4, the status of my order is still "In Process". Called them again to try to cancel, I was told I can't because the item is "ready" to ship. With majority of reviews being critical across couple of review sites, there must be some reason behind it. Stay away...
Update... Just checked back on order status, now it's backordered. What happen to "ready" to ship? Let's see if I can cancel the order.

I ordered my daughter brand new catchers gear in early October. The site said it was in stock when I placed my order. I get my order confirmation email that reflects the same thing that I saw online. A day or 2 later I get another saying all of her gear is backordered (I ordered the pieces separately). So I call and ask and they say we dont know when it will be available... ummm why are you offering items for sale if you dont know when you'll receive them? So about a month later I receive the helmet, 3 months after that I receive her shins and 6 months after the order and still no chest protector. I email them and it takes them a week to respond with some bogus generalized answer. So I call to find out the exact date and they tell me another 3 weeks. So I ask if they can just mail me a full kit of the same gear I ordered(that they have confirmed is in stock), they tell me no, I ask if theyll pull a chest protector from the kit since I've patiently waited 6 months... no. I said can I order a box kit and then return the 2 loose pieces I already received and obviously haven't been used (still in wrappers and boxes) and they say no because it's over their 30 day exchange policy. I say that's not my fault yall lied about having gear in stock and then took 6 months. They said sorry. So I was stuck with a helmet and shins and no chest protector cant return it and they REFUSED to help in any manner when I gave them numerous solutions. They are the worst company EVER! I wound up finding the chest protector at another site and cancelled my order with this horrific wannabe company. I've seen better business and customer service at a neighborhood lemonade stand.
I bought a bat from this company a few weeks ago. First issue was the shipping. Ordered on 2/18 and was supposed to have 2 day air shipping. Didn't receive the bat until 2/24 which was almost a full week later. Emailed them and they offered a 10% discount on my order for it. Okay, cool. Then came the second issue. The bat we received was the 2020 Mizuno 28in 18oz POWER -10 but what they had a picture of was the 2020 Mizuno HOT METAL B20 -10... but in the description of the bat on their site said both Mizuno B20 PWR Alloy... so essentially they had combination of two different bats in the name. I wanted the HOT METAL bat which is what was pictured. I was sent the POWER. I only found this out after comparing the bat I ordered vs what I received on Mizunos website directly. I emailed them again and after a week of checking their inventory they finally admitted to having the wrong bat pictured. The solution I was given was that I could return the wrong bat and order the right bat now that they had it corrected on their website. But wanted me to pay full price for the correct one (bat that was pictured I ordered for $79.95 but it actually was $149.97 - so a difference of $70.02)... I find that to be horrible customer service, honestly. If you have something listed on your site, that it was is expected to be received. All they wanted to offer was free next day shipping which since it's a Friday means I wouldn't get the bat until Tuesday. Then after asking for a supervisor, I was given the option of a 10% discount on the correct bat. In my opinion, they should have done a simple exchange and wrote off the difference since it was their mistake. This was my first time ordering with this company and certainly my last. Don't fall victim like we did!
