I started their subscription in hope that it will work but this is insane, There are lot of fake leads and I escalated many times but they didn't do anything but you will waste lot of money due to this while their customer service is really bad they have rude behaviour. I will recommend all don't waste your money and due to lot of fake leads I have gut feelings that they are maybe part of this, because they are not even resolving this issue.
Booked Lili from Elite Kitchen to cater two very important events, my daughter's engagement and my husband's birthday. We, along with all our guests were so impressed with the food, (great quality)from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the mains and desserts everything was top notch. I purchased Barks get hired guaranteed package and I got one customer and I also got what I thought was a legit customer and it turned out to be a scammer that sent me a fake check n tried to have me deposit it in my bank account n made up this fake story about needing me to get furniture for their new home, I got this same generated messages from 2 different ppl to do the same exact thing n when I called bark to tell them what happened, they didn't seem surprised or concerned. Bark is one big scam and the ppl behind this will eventually reap what they sow. It's a matter of time!

For months I added more credits, contacted leads that were, "ready to move forward". Not one of the 50 - 75 leads I purchased turned into an actual client. Bark then "accidentally" charged my credit card and would not reverse the charges. I had To contact my credit card company to dispute the charges and then they shut down my account and did not allow me to use the unused credits I'd already purchased. Please save your money and Do Not Use this Service!

I have tried to make money on Bark but it seems impossible. Many leads are people looking for quotes, testing the water and basically not ready to hire. Even when they "request you to get hold of them" they are non committal and vague. I don't know if there's a formula for getting work from Bark, but I haven't found it despite being REALLY selective about the leads I respond to.

Although my investment has been relatively low ($600), I have been hired through Bark nearly 8 times, and have made a substantial amount of profit doing wedding photography. I am going to however say that leads generated by Bark are questionable. I have learned which ones to respond to, and stay away from the ones that look repetitive and robotic. Some of the names of the people who are placed requesting Bark are also repetitive. The more leads they send you( usually when your low on credits) the more likely the leads have to be sifted through. I am also a monthly subscriber to their Elite pro membership, and that seems to also have helped generate some good leads.

I completely understand what you're saying with regards to the leads. The requests sometimes can appear to be similar just looking at the brief, the reason is that when we take a customers request, they typically select from drop-down answers, which helps us and professionals get a better understanding of the job requirements and then use open text boxes to allow them to provide additional information about job specifics. In the event, customers don't provide additional information, there is usually some similarities.
That said, location and the customer's name will always be different and since the release of our new site, professionals can now partially view the contact details provided, giving you more insight about each lead before making a decision to respond to it.

I am an Accountant and provide my services to open public customer whoever needs my services.
It seems to Bark team need to improve their services. I feel there are a lot of Leads that are fakes they are, not real leads. I responded to Leads within the time frame and they don't reply at all. I will not recommend getting Bark marketing service it's not the right platform for your Services for your marketing. Also, there's customer service does not take any action on a customer complaint.

Bark.com is terrible for customer service and sellers. They have a lot of fake leads and do credit you back hardly for anything. If you are hired then they just cancel on the site Bark.com doesn't give a $#*!. Ran by Brits and who only care about diplomacy. Waste of money and a lot of it. Me, the service provider need to pay to obtain a future clients contact details. I have made 50 replies, in most cases via e mail and telephone follow up, in only 3 cases I ever got an answer to my telephone call, and in all 3 cases the supposed client provided me with a fake address when trying to set up a physical meeting. This website and service is a hoax.

Your system is very low quality I am paying a lot of money to contact customers but customers opening a ad-free and they can send me message free so I paid more than 200£for contact people but this person not serious for develop mobile app. I try to contact more than 7 people anybody didn't reply me anything. If I know this system I can not pay money your system. It some kind of fraud.
It is a very bad thing because the customers can open ads free so very low-quality jobs inside your system. I reminded some people blocked my phone number because they open an ad for a try. They are not serious. So probably I lost more than 200£ for nothing.
Also, You are not deleting your payment card on the system.

So I had been looking to appoint an architect for my self build and decided to give Bark a try.
I selected the architects in my area I was interested in and they did the rest.
Within the space of a few hours I had emails from all 3 architects I was interested in and they arranged call backs.
I got 3 quotes and within 3 days I had appointed an architect for my project and could not be happier with the result.

Answer: Bark may or may not be legit, but their barks are very often bogus tire kickers or scammers. They've got a lot of work to do to clean up their act. They need to go straight membership and those needing the work done need to PAY to speak to a professional instead of the professional paying to speak to the bogus tire kicker.
Answer: Your reviews are high on Trustpilot because they remove all the negative reviews from their profile. Bark.com removed my review twice. Trustpilot is the only review website that allows businesses to remove reviews for a price. Trustpilot got criticized in several news articles for being easily manipulated of their 'Reviews' for $600 any business profile can push up or down review they want. Look up 'Trustpilot news articles'; they say 'Trustpilot reviews are just paid advertising'
Answer: I don't think so. They signed me up and sent me a free "lead" I never got a reply to. And then I paid for one credits lead and that didn't get a reply. I then noticed both emails where from the UK. I am a plumber in Canada, but the lead specifically said it was for work in my hometown. Refund policy in place but didn't refund the credits. Not even credited to my account. They also automatically have all my reviews from Yelp, HomeStars etc. that they scraped and posted on their website.

Answer: Bark don't verify whether any of the customer tel numbers actually work and most of the leads are poor quality so they won't answer anyway. Save your money, honestly.
Answer: Very true. Misleading leads. No lead vetting. Just Bark saying leads have been verified. But how do we know when no lead responds. They seem fake to me. Bad experience and worst leading platform.

Answer: The 1 star reviews are real. All the other 5 stars are not. This website preys on desperate businesses that require work and signs them up with a cost. First, they searched deep on the internet as my business has NEVER heard of them before their Spam-my email. They send an email stating that I have a lead on their website that I NEVER signed up on. Then ask for money to see who this lead is. To keep their site running, they say to people who are looking for particular businesses that they have them when they don't.
Answer: £1.20 per credit for a starter pack, then £1.50 after that and unqualified leads with next to no information cost between 10 and 18 credits. 10 leads will cost over £200 and doubtful will generate any work
Answer: It's because the positive customer reviews are almost certainly fake. Look at the dates. Look at the volume of reviews. Approximately 100 positive customer reviews of Bark have appeared on Sitejabber between early December 2019 and today (late January 2020). Compared to the number of reviews they received prior to December 2019, that is just an astounding number of reviews. This is not normal.
