Crredit refund
March 18, 2021

Still in choc when recalling back what I heard from their customer supports. Simple "RUDE" is the word. I can hear again "whatever you are trying to explain to us, your money won't be refunded"
I clicked accidently on the link "buy 100 credits" so automatically the money been taken from my account without any normal steps of payment process such as 3-digit bank number. Simply because they had already my details for another subscription, they could apply it for anytime you click on any payment link. This is wrong!
Still looking to figure out how to pursuit this action. Any advises, please help!

Scam and Useless
November 25, 2021

It's a scam platform. That is what I believe. I had used 4-5 credits and contacted the people who are in need of a service. But no benefit at all. To me it looks like they are using their own team to post jobs and then talk to us for a few days and then say sorry we hired someone else. All the 5 customers tells me the same thing which is quite strange, even someone on Fiverr or Freelancer would not do that to me as I am very good at converting clients frequently. Too expensive and useless I would say. Save your money guys don't put it here.

Most leads appear to be a scam or not working
April 14, 2023

I've been getting leads on bark.com every 10-30 minutes, some with 'Urgent' need to contact them back. My profile was nice and complete with 5-star reviews from my clients.

I eventually spent money to buy credits to connect to 24 leads, out of which only two leads (~8%) demonstrated human-like behavior in any form (I had a personal interaction).

I have no idea if the remaining ~92% leads are real at all.

Before you invest any meaningful money into buying leads at bark, be sure to test a very small portion of leads.

Simple, stay away if you are a supplier, you may as well set your money alight. They do not qualify leads, and refuse to refund when the service the advertise is not fulfilled. In line with Distance selling regulations a refund should be given but they try to fob you off with more credits for fake leads.

Leads are a ridiculous price. £20 for something they dont even provide basic details for, and most are just people shopping round not qualified leads at all.

They will tell you we have thousands of positive reviews, they also have thousands of 1 and 2 star reviews, they delete all negative comments on their facebook page so definitely not open and honest.

Stay away at all costs.

Bogus leads
August 28, 2022

I purchased a starter package with Bark. Have used nearly all of my credits which is about 10 customers. Contacted all of the leads by email and phone, with no response from any of them. One was a customer who apparently asked for me personally to contact them, and got no response. Feel like this place creates fake leads to get your money. Would highly advise against using your hard earned money for this sight. There are several other ways to promote and get business!

Bark might be great for people looking for services but not for those offering it. The credit system is ridiculous as you find yourself paying for jobs that don't even exist. So many times I have paid credits to offer my services and when I call the prospective client am told that they were only thinking about it. The leads need to be fully verified before sending them out. Bark do reimburse the credits if you call up but I'm fed up of wasting my time. Won't be buying credits in the future. Sort your system out!

All leads are screened and verified before being released to our professionals. As you have identified we do also have a credit return policy which protects you in situations where the contact details of the customers are incorrect.

If you do not wish to call us then you can also email us at team@bark.com. We can try to resolve any issue as long as it has been reported within 14 days of the lead being purchased.

You may find it easier to send us a single email at the end of each week just letting us know if you have an issue and with which customers they are with and we can then look into them and get back to you with a resolution.

Everything is wrong with Bark. Junk leads (many people who are not looking for the service I offer, are asking for leads, why?) bad service, extremely expensive, Elite Pro does not work, I actually got fewer leads after joining Elite Pro than I did before! Elite Pro was also very expensive. Bark has definitely hindered my businesses performance and I do not recommend them. They promise promise promise but don't deliver.

Please don't try and contact me. I will not respond. I am past the point of you trying to resolve this issue. I have already voiced my concerns with your company directly over email.

First off, we didn't sell anything from any Bark lead. Don't be fooled a lot of people will be calling the lead you get before you even see it in your in-box. The primary problem I have is that we purchased many leads, and after a test time decided its not for us and asked to get a refund on our remaining points. They flat out said NO and we will keep your money. They are all about being your partner until you say you want to leave the service. I have never treated a customer like that and will tell everyone I meet from now on to Run Away from Bark.com its a waste of time and money

Contacted them for a quote on doing our front entrance and they got back to me in 24 hours. They quoted us a great price and came up with a design for the front entrance. When we had questions or concerns they got right back to me with answers, they even had better idea then us on the color of stone to use. The job was started when promised and completed quickly and neatly. Cannot say enough about the crew that did the work. They were polite and respectful and did a wonderful job of cleaning up after themselves. We get rave reviews from everyone who has seen our new front entrance.

Would definitely recommend this company to people

Awful platform!

You will spend $30+ on a lead.
You have no idea if the client accepted another offer, you don't know the budget and they attract clients who want full wedding day service for $250.
They don't return your money if the client doesn't reply to you or doesn't see your quote.

Their software is super buggy.
I had a full message written and sent just to find out that only first 3 words were actually sent to the client.

Don't waste your money on this unless you are offering unsustainable prices. And then don't lose your money here!

SCAM

I've purchased $172.80 worth of credits. Pure waste of money and time. They send you clients who show interest and want you to contact them, once you approve and try to contact the client. NOTHING. No answer whatsoever. I've done it with 5+ leads now. I didn't get one client nor job. If you come across Bark, just run and don't stop.

I appreciate there are some excellent professionals who offer their services through Bark.com

BUT. Buyer Beware.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a rogue roofer/builder like I have had and then need help in resolving an issue, then forget about Bark.com helping you. They will provide you with some amazing excuses and take no responsibility despite promises that they are ready to help.
It is going to be interesting when they respond to this review and make out they really wanted to help me.
My opinion is that this is a form of scam. I've had to say goodbye to my £1050. 00 because Bark.com refused to help me. Lets see what they say so I can respond accordingly.

We tried to set up screen time for Apple phone, since it was giving error each time we tried we tried to contact customer support but were not able to reach them.
We did not use there service but they still charged us twice.
There is no proper information about their service. It seems the basic service they offer only works on the devices like laptop, it does not work on phones. For the phone you have to go for upgrade which they charge separately. This information was not clearly mentioned when we opened the account.

Still not sure how it works but I requested a quote for my fence. A list came back and I contacted a few. After a few days, as I had not commissioned someone to do the work, they asked if I wanted to post it on the board. I said yes and within 10 minutes I had two companies interested. One came round that afternoon to quote and we went from there. Happy with the work done. Accepted quote on the Friday and job started on Monday, finished by Wednesday so very happy with timescales.

Misleading
November 11, 2022

I recently bought their service to help the requests they sent for counseling services. Called one number which was an invalid number and the second number the guy that answered said he had no idea who listed him on Bark for counseling services -probably a scam. When I called Bark they were unwilling to give me a refund. Please save your money and do not support these scammers!

Bark.com are a scam service. They have an automated system that searches the web for people looking for professional services, and then they sell the contact information of that person without having anything at all to do with them. They also hire people to create fake leads that no one will answer or pick up on, or someone will answer and then conveniently decline at the last minute.

Avoid bark.com they are a scam service. There is a facebook group with more complaints about their business practices. It's called bark.com scam.

I wish there was 0 rating. I can't even give them 1. Absolutely fake. Please don't pay anything. Paid money and never received any genuine client as all contacts are fake. They denied to Refund my money even though originally they sent me an email to confirm that until I receive at least one client they will refund my money! Such a waste of time and money behind this. Feel absolutely stupid. Please be aware and don't trust anything they say.

Excellent Service, at least 3 quotes and chosen tradesman, quick, professional and very reasonably priced. No one in Perth prepared to do this, selected tradesman travelled from Fife to do the job, I attach a photo of the completed gate.
