An absolute waste of my money!
April 23, 2023

I have bought six leads from Bark. My return has been nothing. I can't even get a return phone call. Every leads ends up with leaving a voice mail or text message. I have had a few text back in the beginning but somewhere through the process the leads stop responding. I can't even get a "I'm sorry, we decided to go with someone else." One lead ended up with a disconnected phone number. I contacted Bark and their responses was "Sorry, we can't verify that the number is not working." What ever that means. I highly recommend staying away from this platform.

Bark is a scam!

Bark is a scam! I purchased their product mostly as they guaranteed a refund, if no customer purchased or was ‘hired'. But at the end of the period (with no customers) they refused to give the refund. Then said oh no we only give you back credits in our system to try more leads.

They give nothing ‘BACK' to the customer.
Their advertising is total misleading and unethical (see photo).
The leads they send you are fake and are not real customers.
Do not waste your money like I did.
The company is a total scam.

This company steal money through fraudulent sales claims. They sell you on the basis that leads are given to 2-5 companies but you can clearly see leads that can have 9 or more companies following up leads.

This can be roughly £25 a pop per lead. This is a fraud, I cannot explain any other way.

Problem solved
May 25, 2022

The company is miserable. They just want to charge you high amount without providing any services. I was given a discount of 30% by Miss Deeksha on phone even after I requested so much to her to provide me 50% discount. But she said that 30% is the best she could give. In the meantime, I received a message for 50% discount link. I subsequently questioned bark executive why I had been charged higher amount and to refund the excess amount. But he refused to help me out.

Update:
After conversation with manager of Bark, we were able to come to a compromise and sorted out the issues. No issues anymore.

We used Bark to hire a DJ, Sammy Franklyn. He turned out to be a fraud, took our money, and did not provide us with a service. Bark does not vet the professionals on their platform, nor do they take any responsibility or provide us with information about the fraudster so that we can take him to court. You would be better off just doing a Google search and hiring than using the Bark platform.

I have used Bark now as a way to get leads and it has officially wasted over $300. I have not received 1 valid lead and when I request credits they are not accommodating. They ask for proof which is not always available because we spoke on the phone.
The "leads" are people looking for work and the amount to but the lead is very expensive.
It is a complete waste of money so learn from me and do not use!

Do Not USE

As a lead generation company this service is horrible! You loose credits on leads even if they don't respond or contact you back. Attempting to get a refund or a credit is a joke. Honestly the worst experience I have ever had! I truly will not use this service again. Be forewarned! Don't waste your money! The leads they provide are either fake or didn't really request to be contacted.

Bark is just useless. Both for sellers and Buyers. They just take your money and only give you poor quality leads. Their customer support team is unpleasant and very rude. Strictly avoid bark. They hung up on me multiple times when I requested a refund as their website says guaranteed hire. Strictly avoid if you wanna save money..

Using Bark for a security business is an absolute fraud and waste of money. From my experience Bark takes not responsibility for what clients puts up. They don't properly screen the jobs and the paid user has to waste time chasing up leads that dont exist. Bark puts up 5 professional takers on a job knowing full well the first two would have a better change of getting the job. This was said to me by Bark themselves. They don't verify land lines and after purchasing the lead, you call the number and it rings out or its disconnected. You pay a huge amount for credits and the lead never gets back to you AT ALL!. My last lead texted me back for a job that involves illegal and cash work. No one monitors or scrutinise there activities and you are left paying a huge amount of money for no service! STAY AWAY FROM BARK!

Never used Bark before and found via google. Very easy to navigate and easy to use the site. A number of replies to my building wall request came in quickly. Very pleased with Lenny who visited the site for inspection and provided quote on the same day. Work now completed and to the highest of standards. Great service which I will use again and highly recommend Lenny and his colleague for their building skills. Exceptional.

Artificial turf laid beautifully. I had researched the required components for a good foundation for the grass and the representatives from the company, Tom and Alex, knew exactly what was best without prompting. The end result confirmed my positive assessment of them.

Bark is a waste of money. The market is full of people who are only after a cheap deal without understanding the process and work that goes behind the jobs. There are many people that will gladly take their little money and not provide a proper service. Most the leads from Bark are fake. I would not recommend bark to anyone looking to improve their business unless they offer subordinate services at cheap prices

It's patently obvious to our organisation, more so, after running countless checks, that Bark are actively involved in running scam project requests.

It's amazing how many people we've contacted via bark who have no idea their telephone number is on the website, and have certainly not even requested work.

It's our intention to submit evidence as we initiate legal proceedings against them.

Waste of money

Total waste of money. It's easy to spend down your credits on leads you think are actually worth contacting or answering. I spent over 200 bucks in a week.

Leads must be fake. I had a few contact me first. When I responded, the message read, "thanks but no thank you ". As if they never contacted me with interest.

Bark real or scam?

I joined spending almost a Thousand Rand in South Africa.
I have found that hundreds of requests come through my email but it seems to be bot generated.
When you buy the clients, you can't reach them and lose your credits.

Hired 3 "professionals "
None did a good job. 1 ghosted me for $850 I'm going through my credit card to get my $$ back.
One was unscrupulous over charged me big time for $600 should have been maybe $100.
One never returned my texts.
I asked bark if they vet any professionals that work for them.
They answered no!
All about money!
