Title says it all along with the other reviews. They only answered for my attorney and gave him the runaround as well. Not worth pursuing. Take your business elsewhere. We ACHd the funds to the account they said "they don't have anymore". And they would have to "research". Knowing I'm a repeat customer I would think they would have a little more care. As another reviewer stated…. They do not care at all. The level of do not care is unlike anything I've ever seen.

I have placed two orders in the past 6 months, I find this company fraudulent in making sure either order was delivered to my address. I work from home, and I have not had either order# ******* Sept 25,2022 both oders placed were over $200.00. I need sun shade from the heat. I am not impressed with the customer service, nor getting billed for 2 orders not received. Do not use Back Yard City!

In 2009 I ordered custom outdoor drapes for my pergola. The drapes have not faded or deteriorated in all these years! I will be replacing them this summer because we had to replace our pergola and hot tub! In 2010 I ordered custom outdoor roll up shades for my patio Both orders came as expected with one exception; I had ordered 5 roll up shades, 4 were delivered. This actually was to my benefit because I made a mistake with the width calculations! I have had only one roll-up cord break in 12 years, which they sent a replacement very timely. All mechanisms are working well. I will be ordering again from BackyardCity!
They shipped my order incomplete and they will not ever get back to you to replace or refund for items. I'm out $200 and they don't care at all! Horrible company.

I ordered a shade sail that this company billed me for immediately. The sail was never delivered. I have sent them about 25 emails then gave up. I've also called them about 10 times, no one ever picks up.
Now I am in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company.
I don't know why my credit card company doesn't just reverse the charge because there is no way this company is communicating back to my credit card company.
THIS IS A SCAM OF A BUSINESS!
Wow. I cannot recommend enough going elsewhere. This is the least respectable business I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Seriously. Don't do it. There are dozens of retailers online that offer the same products as these guys, and you'll receive what I did not here: service, communication, follow up, and respect and appreciation for your business.
Only after I sent a couple emails (their voicemail box is full and has been for well over a week...), the last of which was 13days after my order, when I suggested they please reply or I'd take my business elsewhere, did they charge my credit card and begin shipping my order. No response. No tracking information. No appreciation for the amount of money - hard to come by money during the covid outbreak - that we spent there. Just read receipts on the emails I'd sent.
They don't care.
They won't care about you.
They won't care about your concern for their disinterest in communication.
They certainly won't care about providing order updates or tracking information.
They definitely want your money, though. That, they care about.
Don't trust them. Don't patronize them, and spare yourself a completely miserable experience. I suspect if you live close enough to the actual retail location, and can confront them in person for their palpable disdain for the people who pay their bills, you may receive some type of customer service, but I'd not hold my breath. Look at all the online reviews of this company... and judge for yourself.
I ordered a fan on line last month. Charge showed as pending for 5 days and then disappeared. I tried to contact them to find out status and no answer. Then yesterday I received the product after I already purchased it from another vendor. I have tried to contact them several times now to return and no answer. Don't buy from them.

We ordered a firepit at the start of the summer season. We have had no communication from this company as to the status. We reached out by phone and email several times but have received no communication. We understand that production, manufacturing, and delivery may be slow because of the situation in our country. However, a simple response is all we have asked for. At this point we are just trying to call to cancel the order.
I placed my order and they charged me for the item but I realized i needed to get a different style. I emailed twice and left 2 voice messages and haven't heard a word from them. No idea when or if the pool liner will be delivered. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
Purchased pool steps, received a weird confirmation and then nothing. After a week my payment was not processed and no updates. Contacting the company is impossible. 17 days after ordering the steps arrived. An hour later I received a tracking email, next day they processed payment. I had already purchased steps elsewhere as I needed them - had no updates, they never processed payment and could not be reached. Will never deal with them again. Recommend you stay far away.
I purchased a solar blanket, reel for solar blanket and tarp for reel. I received my solar blanket but not the reel and tarp. I called on 4/29 and was told by Trey that he had no clue what had happened. He proceeded to tell me that due to covid what once took a few hrs now takes a few days. I called back left voicemail 3 business days later, nothing. I called back 5/8 now 7 business days and once again talk to Trey. Once again he tells me he has no clue, and he didn't contact me because he had no update. He once again blamed covid. The following Monday 5/11 I called, nothing no answer. I called 10+ times. I emailed the only 2 emails i could find No response. I left message on Facebook Messenger, I can tell they've read the message, but no response. Ive called daily 10+ times and no response. I think Trey is the only person answering calls and emails, or in my case not answering. Horrible experience.
Update: I was contacted that my order couldn't be fulfilled and they apologized for lack of communication and gave me 100% refund and told me to keep solar blanket as a gift. Im still disappointed with the lack of communication, but am happy about end result. Also the solar blanket rocks, does exactly what they said it would.
Ordered a sandbox cover just prior the start of the COVID19 crisis. They delivered an excellent product on time while working with a reduced workforce. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!
Purchased a pool two weeks ago, i called no less then 30 times and only once spoke to a man named Trey. I emailed no less then 15 times, left numerous voice mails and nothing.
Now i have lost two whole weeks trying to get a pool up for my son.
The only reason i believe i was able to get my order canceled what because after two weeks of no communication i threatened to get my family lawyer involved. And it still took Trey THREE whole days to cancel my freaking order.
I think Trey is the only person who work at this place in his moms basement. You call the 800 number 30 times to only speak to a person once. This place is a JOKE!
I bought a Rock cover for 123 dollars that was Clearly not the right size and should never be sold as a cover for a septic cap! I then called the company and was asked to show pictures which I did and was up sold the Right cover for 183.00! I then sent the old one back carefully packed ( because both covers came to me in damaged boxes poorly packed)! I then waited for my refund which they told me would be in a week and... You Guessed it... NOTHING! I called back several times and no return call! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS! THEY OVERCHARGE FOR SHIPPING AND HAVE ZERO CREDIBILITY! I HAVE DISPUTED THE 123 dollars and I WILL WIN! $#*! YOU BACKYARD CITY!
I ordered a pool and it came damaged inside the box. I ordered a whole package and it also was missing the ladder that I still do not have and paid for. It also didnt ship with liner. I wasnt happy and asked for a return. I have had this pool in my garage fir a month now. I call and no answer. I emailed over 10 times with no answer or reply.
I have the emails to prove it and will send them to anyone that wants them. This is a fradulant business and they dont stand by their products.
Customer service is the worse. After be 3 emails 2 phone calls and finally threatening to get athorities on my case they decided to refund me only a small part of what I paid.
Trey seems to be a good guy. I selected BYC due to price. It took a long time to get the pool cover. That was partially my fault. I am not familiar with how to measure. After multiple precise measurements I submitted on in the proper format. Measuring and remeasuring a 44'X24' pool for a cover is a lot of work. There were multiple week long delays by the factory and failure to notify when more info was needed. The cover came in and fit properly, including strap positioning. The guy could really use an assistant for follow-up customer service. Other than that the product seems to be of superior quality and the price outstanding.

Answer: Do not buy. They have poor customer service. I have left various messages to no avail.
