Totally not what I ordered! Flowers look nothing like what their website shows and I paid a lot of money!
Customer service stinks! They would come and replace the flowers, but have to take the other ones away or give me $20 off - total rip off! Save yourself the headache. First picture is the website, 2nd is what was delivered.
Did not deliver the flowers I ordered for Mother's Day. They called a week later, claiming there was a problem with my order. When I called back they put through a byzantine chain of people who refused to listen to my request. Multiple times I said things like "I just want to cancel my order since it was not delivered" and they would reply with "Ok so I've got your order scheduled for tomrrow."
I finally just demanded to speak to a supervisor and after another 15 minutes of holding, finally got one, who was able to cancel/refund the order in the two minutes it should have taken in the first place.
Awful company, do not use.
I ordered a dozen long-stem roses to have delivered to our hotel room in Maui to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. I placed the order five days in advance and was promised they would be delivered to our hotel room either Sunday evening or Monday morning. (The day of our anniversary.) I asked several times; "Are you sure you can deliver on Sundays and holidays?" "Oh yes, this delivery is guaranteed."
Monday came and went with no flowers, AND, no email, text, or call letting me know the status of the order. I called in on Tuesday morning and only got an automated system. They called back a few hours later and said they could deliver them on Wednesday, which was two days past our anniversary, PLUS, the day we were leaving Hawaii.
I can't tell you how disappointed in them. I highly recommend YOU NOT use this service.
Didn't deliver on the scheduled date. Still waiting for flowers to be delivered. CSR unable to contact local flower company. Totally ruined a surprise for my lady. I will never used again. Still waiting on call from manager. Stay away!
This is not a 110.00 bouquet of flowers. Very disappointed in customer service.All I wanted was another arrangement sent my niece that was worthy of the price. But they expected the flowers to be returned, however my niece was in a car accident and has no way to return them. So I am posting a picture to see what she received. This was on Sept 8. All customer service was willing to do was to refund 44.00. Not happy with service or flowers. It was a waste of money.
Ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday today.
The only thing good out them was the delivery was prompt. I upgraded to the largest bunch of flowers, I could of bought the same thing in a grocery store and saved $80. I will never order from here again what a joke.
A $150 Bouquet. 3 days late and I could have got better from Kroger. It took three days to get a live person on the phone. And that was no help. They could not give any delivery information. Could not tell me where the flowers were coming from.
Ordered a Mother's Day arrangement. Paid in full, complete with their "service fee". I get an email ON MOTHER'S DAY, that the delivery cannot be made. Unprofessional! Please read the reviews first before purchasing. There is a reason they are mostly 1-star.
Worst customer service ever. Had flowers sent to a friend for her birthday and the flowers arrived moldy and fell apart immediately.
Contacted them-was offered a new delivery or 50% off the price I paid as a refund. Told them I wanted a full refund and they informed me they would have to send the florist out to retrieve the arrangement to assess it and determine if a refund would be made. What the actual hell?
My friend is already mad at me because the arrangement look so $#*!ty, and I'm supposed to tell her that the floor is just gonna come and take her back?
I ordered a $65 arrangement to get notice right after ordering that vase wasn't available. Ok we decided to go with clear vase + more blue colored flowers to compensate. To have it delivered nothing as I had expected. My 6 yr old granddaughter can arrange flowers better than what was received. Photo on left is website picture of what I ordered, picture on right is what was delivered. Not acceptable!
I placed my order 5 days ahead of delivery date. My order was canceled on the Morning of Mothers Day leaving me extremely disappointed and angry. Unable to contact, no option or offer to substitute, just canceled! Thanks for nothing! Way to leave me feeling like a disappointment to my mother Ava's Flowers!
I ordered a large Boquet of purple and pink flowers to be delivered to a friend in the hospital. I also order a full size greeting card. I spent $100 to have a nice large Boquet of flowers. What was delivered was NOTHING like the picture and half the size of the medium sized arrangement pictured on their website when I ordered a larger bouquet. No ribbon or bow on the vase. No card. Completely misrepresented by the website. Not even the correct colors and full of cheap carnations. I'm embarrassed that they delivered less than I could have gotten from a gas station. It was meant to be beautiful and cheerful…instead it was sad and cheap looking. Shame on Ava's Flowers for taking advantage of people. They offered 50% refund but that doesn't buy me a new bouquet at a different florist. Such a complete rip-off!
The absolute worst of the worst. Scumbags, don't waste your time or money. Don't even think about receiving the product on a planned day or holiday, they get to you when they feel like it. I only left one star because you have to, they don't even deserve the one.
Everything about this experience was less than advertised - except the cost. A dish garden became a single far less expensive plant, there was an excessive "prep fee" or some such. The photo on the right is the "bait" what I saw on the website - on the left is the "switch", left randomly nowhere near my sister's office, for which I provided both an office and a cell number. By sheer Providence, a neighbor she knows casually came upon it and alerted her. Ava's apparently uses shrewd Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and its "A" name to give the impression it's local, in this case, to Cambridge, MA, when in fact it appears to be in NJ!
I choose a beautiful full arrangement, day of delivery I get an email telling me they don't have the flowers. They replace it with simple roses claiming they are using premium flowers, instead they look terrible and don't fill the vase. Absolute waste of money. I have never experienced a worse place of business
I ordered an arrangement for a funeral and the arrangement that was delivered was no where near reflective of the arrangement. Customer service does not follow up with solving issues. I still don't have an answer or solution.
This business is a scam I suggest never doing business with them what a nightmare. They are not trustworthy with their information. They stated delivery couldn't be made due to inclement weather in my area. The delivery was 1,622 miles away where weather was ok. Bill $117.59 refund was $94.59. Charged a service fee. What service? Scammer's.
I order flowers 5 days ago to be delivered to a friend that has been through colon cancer. Every time I call they have a 100 different stories why haven't they been delivered. One was no patience by that name I hung up called the hospital and yes the patient was still their. Call back to get my money refund and they end up giving me a hard time don't want refund my money! I will never shop here again!
This has to be the worst experience every. The flowers were crap. Promised to make a late birthday delivery and upgrade to a crystal vase. The vase was crap too. I wish I read my review before purchase. I can't believe they are still in business.
I had bought flowers for a funeral they were supposed to be at bright and vibrant and a nice. And we received just like anything but. My mom pick these out for her friends and if I would have known that we are going to get non bright flowers I was just gone locally and done it right. Getting charged $86 because they have handling fees. Because they're freaking 55 some dollars for the flowers alone. Which is astronomical on its own, but to not even do it right. But then they're like send you to a page that says well we have a ability to change out if the shop doesn't have what you need okay I'm sure the shop doesn't have the normal stuff in stock. It just makes us so angry and it was for a funeral. And then don't even give me started on customer service the phone was just a but in touch that sometimes worked and then when you thought you were getting somewhere you couldn't and then it was like sorry we have too many people on the line right now and it hangs up on you.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
Answer: You cannot. Their number is an automated attendant that hangs up on you and email is unmonitored. This is a scam.
Answer: Sometimes easy and quick is mot the way to go when it comes to a loved one. I learned my lesson.
