Wanted to make my daughter's B-Day special. Delivery came at end of day and bouquet was Ugly, lopsided and NOT remotely close to what I ordered. Avas unable to replace as promised. Waste of $77. NEVER AGAIN
Their website has "Same Day Delivery" in bold letters right at the top. I ordered a simple dozen roses for my wife for our anniversary at 7am today. I got a text from them at 3:30pm that they were unable to deliver the order and that the earlier they could deliver as two days from today. This was not a difficult task, a dozen roses. I cancelled my order and demanded a refund.
Pathetic, Not only is this not a floral shop What I ordered was a beautiful arrangement in a vase to be delivered to a friend that just had surgery. What I got with some stupid bouquet from Albertsons brought by a DoorDasher not even in a vase nor water. And on top of it the DoorDash girl lied and said that it was in a vase. Such a scam. Shame on your ava flowers and then not wanting to refund my money. $70 for a crappy wrapped bouquet from Albertsons Are you kidding me... Thank goodness CC companies dispute situations like this to correct it. Dont waste your time or money on this company.
I ordered flowers for "same day delivery," which the site offers (for a Friday). They didn't arrive. The person I was sending to left the hospital on Saturday, so I called and changed the delivery address to her home. Still not delivered. I phoned and asked to cancel my order and was talked into (which I regret) having the flowers delivered on Monday. They WERE at last delivered, but the bouquet was small and not as pictured on the website. Also beware the "service" fee they charge, which is huge. For NO service, I might add. Look somewhere else for your flower deliveries, is my suggestion.
Order flowers for funeral and paid expedited delivery fee. They didn't bother to deliver or to alert me of the status. They sourced it out to a local florist. No one answered. They did offer to deliver them another day. What is the point of delivering funeral flowers another day?
I will never use this company again... They couldn't deliver as I ordered, the flowers weren't available and the date of delivery wasn't available. I ordered it on a specific date so that the recipient would be there and then they failed to deliver on that date. The recipient wasn't going to be there the next five days and they refused to give me a refund. So I guess some random person is going to receive the flowers because they refused to help me at all on the phone. The customer service is awful, I waited on hold for thirty minutes and when I finally reached a living person to talk to their English was so broken I could barely understand it. This has ruined my whole day. 0/10 do not recommend. If I could rate them lower than one star I would. Such a scam of a place. Never again.
Both customer service and delivery service is horrible. It took three days to deliver my flowers. I will never shop here again.
Do not order from Avas. So jipped and embarrassing. Send saddest version of a $130 order. Awful, embarrassing sent wilted and was so beyond cheapest quality not 1 flower i bought! Then they pathetically want to pick up up a wilted wrong sad bouquet 5 days later! From an RN supervisor in a nurse facility How sick! Embarrassing no money back which i beg. She returned flowers on hercown 2 days later, still no refund. So awful. Never use.
Don't waste you time or money on this. The pictures are not what you get. Hidden fees, when I wrote them I was told, someone would reach out to me. They never did. Never again.flowers were withered, over priced.
Flowers were beautiful and easy to place the order BUT as I was paying there was a $24 service charge that was not mentioned before. I will not Order from them ever again. Person who received did not even saw who was the sender. They did not state that on the card.
Horrible service. Once I found out that the service fee doubled the price of the flowers I tried to cancel and they wouldn't allow it. They added a discount but what they really did put in for the smaller bouquet. The ones delivered looked nothing like the picture. Very disappointing. Now they won't answer. The first pic is what I ordered and they delivered the pink flowers in the second pic.
I ordered flowers for a funeral. Spent $141. Flowers were NOT delivered! $15 credit! Expedited delivery.
AvasFlowers did not deliver anything close to what I ordered. The ordered totaled $140 and what was delivered looked cheap and could have been made from some grocery store flowers and put in a basket found in someone's basement. The family was devastated and I only got the pictures 4 days after the service. This is how they looked 4 days later which tells me that looked pretty bad when they arrived at the church!
Absolutely terrible. Ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered to a relative who lost her husband. Day of delivery i get a notice they cant deliver that arrangement but can do something else in 2 days time, i called them and said the funeral was today and i needed something today, the call center lady put me on hold for a while, came back and said she had spoken with the local florist who could put together something similar and deliver today. I said fine, anything at this point that could be delivered today, a few hours later i get another notification saying they cannot deliver flowers today but here are some alternatives (i wanted white anything), they offered roses or sunflowers) to be delivered in 2 days so i just cancelled the whole order, horrific customer service, they need to go out of business, not sure at this point if they even sell flowers
I paid for an arrangement to be delivered and it wasn't delivered the day that it was supposed to be delivered, so called customer service and no help at all. I gave them another chance and they still failed to deliver for the second time. The customer service is no help they can't answer questions nor can they help. I recommend do not use this company cause service is horrible and they can't answer not one question
I gave more than a week's notice on an order of balloons to be delivered to my hotel as a surprise for my daughter's 13th birthday. They called me numerous times while I was on my flight to Florida to tell me they did not have enough balloons to deliver. My flight was at 2 pm and they didn't try to get ahold of me until close to 4 pm. Once I got to the airport I called them back and they continued to put me on long holds. I asked them why they didn't get more balloons if they new they had an order in a week and why they didn't notify me until late in the afternoon so I couldn't make other arrangements. They wanted to deliver them the next day in the morning but this defeated the purpose of the surprise.
I gave them one start because they did give me a full refund but the moment was lost for my daughter.
This company is a scam and a ripoff, and we're so upset that we didn't look at the reviews before ordering from them. My husband purchased the Enchantment bouquet with chocolates and a card for a whopping $160.10 for our anniversary.
I never received the chocolates or the card, and the flowers were not at all as pictured. The photo on their website shows the medium bouquet, and my husband payed extra for the large bouquet. The flowers I received just days ago are almost dead today, and they dont look like the photo. I received a very small bouquet with none of the pretty pink flowers pictured, and with a vase that's nothing like the picture other than being red. It's certainly NOT the beautiful, large bouquet that he was charged $89.99 for (before taxes, $9.99 for delivery, and a $25 service fee).
We've called customer service twice now. The first time, they offered to only refund the chocolates that we didn't receive; nothing for the missing card or the flowers that they clearly mixed up and delivered to someone else because we did not receive what we ordered. We declined this offer and was told they'd put in a replacement order with all of the items and the correct flowers. We accepted this offer.
I never received the replacement order, so I called back today. I was told a replacement order was never submitted but she assured me she was getting it submitted this time. I don't believe for a second that I'll be getting anything in 2 days as promised.
I also asked for the physical address for the location that delivered to us, and to have my call escalated. Both requests were denied, and I was told that they cannot provide information on where the flowers actually came from locally. That's crazy! This is a business that refuses to provide anything beyond a phone number for a third party that takes their calls and complaints!
Please do NOT order anything from this company. Based on the TONS of other 1 star reviews we've seen since ordering with them, this is just how they do business. This company clearly does not care about their customers, and they WILL rip you off. Do NOT order from Avas Flowers!
Ordered three bouquets of flowers and one came a week early. One of the others was unavailable when I wanted them delivered. The others never turned up and after phoning lots they said they can deliver them in two days after which is useless for me as I need them tomorrow. Bad communication and disorganized.
Absolutely the worst flower purchasing experience even possible! Ordered a basket which was to be the large size of a basket with both flowers and green plants for a gravely I'll family member. When received, recipient sent a picture with their thanks. It was nothing more than a small fern shoved in a basket! It was hideous! I was embarrassed beyond belief. I called to complain amd was told order had been filled as required. I threw a fit and offered hem a picture of what was received. Customer Service sent me an email I could reply to with a picture. When he saw it he said he "100% agreed" that it was a complete fail. I was told a suitable replacement would go out the same day (Friday) or the next day at the latest. I received word that my family member was being released early on that following day so called again (held 33 minutes on first day!). I was told it could not be sent until the following Tuesday! I literally screamed demanding a refund at that point. The day before, I was offered a 15% refund which I declined as I explained I was Embarrassed at the quality of my gift and what was sent was so substandard 15% was less than it was worth. I did get a refund after being loudly insistent. See pictures below of what I ordered and what I got. Horrible company! RUN!
Earlier today I needed a floral arrangement to be delivered the same day to a location they told me it was within their area of coverage. I wanted to surprise a friend of mine that was attending a conference away from home, in their area. So, I contacted them to place an order, after selecting what I wanted, and ask all the "right questions" they reassure me that my goal was attainable and that they were able to deliver the flowers to the given address on time. One hour after, I got a text notification indicating me to contact the shop because they needed to speak with me regarding my delivery order. Long story short, they told me that they will deliver the flowers on monday september 25th, when on the initial call I stress out how important it was for me to deliver the flowers to my friend today. The flowers were a surprise that I planned for her while she is away from home traveling, and going through a difficult time. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated. My word for them over the phone was to work on be more professional and to keep your promises to the people who trusted you in first place. They messes up blatantly! Please, stay away. I called from out of state and this was my first and last time. I hope that you read this and get your flowers from someone else.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
Answer: You cannot. Their number is an automated attendant that hangs up on you and email is unmonitored. This is a scam.
Answer: Sometimes easy and quick is mot the way to go when it comes to a loved one. I learned my lesson.
