Ordered a plant for a funeral. Left over Valentine Roses arrived after the funeral was over. 4 Days late
This was the worst flower delivery experience I have ever had in my life.
1. Once you put in all your credit card info and notes and ready to place order they add a $25 service fee. This is even after the promo code for free delivery fee which is only $9.99.
2. It gives an option to put in delivery notes. I put in please do not deliver earlier than 3:30 so she will be home (I didn't order until 11:00 same day) They ignored the notes and tried to deliver earlier. When she wasn't home they did not leave the flowers there. Instead they called & texted my daughter at work and told her she would need to pick them up!
3. When I tried to cancel the order online it would not let me cancel same day delivery. So I tried to call the number that texted her and it did not work. I tried to call the number on the website and sat on hold forever and had to hang up (never talked to a person) then I emailed them twice and never got a reply. She texted them and told them she could not pick them up and they kept telling her to schedule a time to pick them up for days!
This was a surprise for my daughter for a special day and they completely ruined the surprise! It also just caused her stress since she did not have time to pick them up and should not have to pick up her own gift! There's no way to get help from anyone. 3 days later someone called her and delivered them. We did not want them anymore, they were not special anymore, they were ONLY meant for a surprise since I could not see her that day, 3 days later these flowers meant nothing and I had already got her something else that was after the special day. I wasted $80 and I am SO disappointed and unhappy, I have never in my life had a bad experience sending flowers until now! I wanted to cancel and get a refund but no one would get back to me. I also can't find anywhere to leave a review on their website so I am not sure the good reviews are even real.

My family looked all over for a tulip bou8. I received 9 tulips in an ugly metal vase. They were not close to. $70 dollars worth.
Will never recommend them, a whole week of I'm sorry, flowers were near dead when delivered 8 days late.
Ordered from them for my grandson who was one month passed away. Promised delivery but they did not..

I live in New York City and My pregnant daughter had a surgery in Dallas TX. I called and ordered "Dreaming of Tuscany" bouquet for her plus a teddy bear with balloons.
I asked the rep if they were a franchise and he said no it's family owned. I also asked him if they have all the flowers I saw online and he replied yes to me. I was hesitant to place the order because the call seamed to be a long distance call and the rep had an indian accent with an american name. Still I somehow went ahead and placed the order. He gave me the total and slammed me with $20 for service charge. When I asked him about it, he said it was for caring for the flowers. Still I placed the order for my Daughter.
The next dat "Diana" with a thick indian accent called me after 2:30 pm New york time and informed me that they do not have that flowers for bouquet I ordered. I asked them for refund and to cancel my order completely.
So she offered me %30 discount. I said to the I don't want the discount just send her any flowers and the teddy bear the balloons. Then at 6:30 PM New York time another rep called me and said that the delivery wes reschedule for the next day.
I was very mad and I asked the rep to refund me my money and to cancel the order. So she offered me $10 off on each order or %50 discount on the total cost of the order.
These people have no souls. They Just want to collect your moony and then Good luck Charley to you. They showed no remorse or compaction. They tried hard not to give me back my money, So I had to threatened them that I would write a very bad review about them and the company. So they issued me a refund that will take 5-7 working days even though I used a debit card for payment.
So now I'm waiting for the refund and I'm sooooooo hard broken that my daughter was not able to receive the flowers and the balloons to give her some comfort during these tuff times.
So please do not order from AVAS FLOWERS because the don't understand the meaning of giving flowers to someone special in your life and they don't care about you or your feelings.
I went to this website to buy my mother flowers for her birthday. She has stage 4 Pancreatic terminal cancer. She is fighting every day of her life to be with us and to be strong for herself. I wanted to make her happy with a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses from their site called Sun Moon and Stars which captured me cause that's what she is to all of us. They called the morning they were supposed to deliver and said they were out of chocolates and could replace with balloons. I said fine. I just wanted them to get to her. I awaited the the email all day to see if they had arrived. My mother texted me with a picture saying how happy she was and thank you. Of course she will always be grateful for anything we give her but it was so not at ALL what I ordered and the picture stated I would get EXACTLY as pictured. The yellow roses were there a few lilies but the rest that were supposed to be beautiful blueish purple small flower fillers were not there. Instead there were brownish half dead looking flowers that looked like they got stuffed in at the end real fast cause they got lost for time and that's all they had. It was a EXTREMELY HOT MESS! Also the beautiful blue vase that was showing in the picture was not holding my mothers flowers she had a clear vase. I called customer service to let them know the issue and was put on hold back and forth several times and told I was given ballon's as a discount and that's all they could do for now and let me see and that the clear vase was a substitute and I said no I feel that she should get exactly what was pictured as it says cause that's what I paid $125 for and she hung up on me. So I Mycroft will not be trusting a floral company to deliver flowers anymore because of this and will be getting them myself. This company is as shady as their half fead wilting fillers. Pleas take my advice and look somewhere else. I was told 1-800 Flowers is decent I myself will do my own shopping. I have included what I ordered versus what I got below. You make your decision.
On 9/2/22 I ordered a large bouquet of flowers for my daughter's birthday. Her birthday was on 9/5. When I ordered them Avas stated that they would be delivered on 9/3 or 9/6 at the latest. On 9/6, in the middle of the day, I was notified that there was a problem with my order. So I called them. First person I spoke with stated that the flowers would not be delivered that day to her place of work and that they needed an alternate address. I had multiple questions regarding WHY! Never got a decent answer. So I called them back with other address. When I called back this time, I ended up having to speak with someone else. This person told me that not only were flowers not going to be delivered that day but also they couldn't send anything close to what I had ordered. Of course I wasn't happy. She told me they would take 50% of my order of $92.00 and that they could offer me a "nice green plant" or an Orchid. I told her no. This was to be an arrangement of fresh cut flowers for a birthday. I told her I wanted to cancel my order. She said 3 more times about plants and Orchid. She said she would call a local florist and see about their flowers. I said to her" I thought your were a local florist according to your website." So then she tells me that she will upgrade to twice the size/amount of flowers and take 50% off. I then told her that I thought you didn't have any fresh cut ones. So after ALL of this they delivered the following day what looked like a $3.00 grocery store bouquet of broken stemmed, crappy flowers! So I got back in touch to get a refund and all I got was $20.00 back. This company is the WORST EVER! They are a scam! I take blame for not reading more reviews than I did. If I had, I would of known about their Class Action Lawsuit and all of the negative reviews! HORRIBLE! Don't EVER use this company! The only way I could leave a review was to mark a star. They definitely don't deserve even a one star rating!

DONT USE THEM! I requested a bouquet for a birthday gift for Monday, it was delivered Tuesday after 8pm and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone. DONT USE THEM
So I ordered a specific arrangement that was offered on the website called she's got style, she's got grace for my mother on mother's day.
First of all the company delivered to the wrong address luckily its a small apartment community of old folks and the person that actually recieved my mother's flowers knew her and took them to her,
But my mother did not get what I ordered, avas flowers sent her a completely different arrangement that looked small and very plain and cheap and she never received the teddy bear that I ordered with it.
So I obviously called avas flowers right away and they promised me a refund for the teddy bear and a to re deliver the correct flowers which I never recieved any refund and my mother never recieved the replacement flowers again so I called in again and now they only offer a 50% refund and that means I spent 150 dollars on service that I never recieved, everything was completely wrong and nothing has been resolved but im suppose to be happy with a 50 % refund and only on the flowers bc they are arguing with me saying that I already received the refund for the teddy bear which I have not and I have my bank statements to prove that.
DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY ITS WAY TO STRESSFUL I ordered the bright colorful arrangement in a large size the most expensive and I recieved the one you see on the table

Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
