We ordered two stalks of zen Phalaenopsis Orchid for my mother in law's 80th birthday. The original delivery date was on 23rd January 2022 and it ended up being delivered on 25 January 2022 (i. E. 2 days late). This is still not the most annoying part of the purchase. They subsequently informed us via an automated email that the orchids were not available and as we are living overseas, they called my mother-in-law instead and told her that they can do an upgrade for her.
Believing what they said, she agreed to an upgrade and received the flowers today. She sent a photo of the flowers and we were shocked. She received a bunch of assorted roses instead. Roses cost a lot less than orchids in the US and the replacement was definitely not an upgrade. Checking on Avas Flowers' own website revealed that the bunch only cost half the price of the original purchase. This is a scam so please avoid purchasing anything from this florist. Businesses should be honest! We should only support the truly deserving and honest companies/businesses.

I ordered a floral arrangement with the promise of same day delivery. I called the company to get more information on the local florist they were supposedly using. I was given the name of a local business: William Paul Floral Design in Austin and called the florist at *******476. When speaking with the clerk however, they received no such order, told me they do not take orders from Avas Flowers and also told me they are a well known scam internet business. Within 5 minutes of having originally placed my order, I called Avas flowers and they refused to refund me. I pressed them about the lie and asked them what other local florists they supposedly use and was then told they couldn't tell me due to "florist privacy laws". I laughed. They immediately charged my credit card though no flowers were ever delivered. I called three more times and told them I had already reported this to my credit card company and I was going to make every effort to shut them down. They used stall tactics. A
The fourth agent admitted the flowers were never delivered. I reported this to the NJ BBB also and filed a formal complaint. I'm probably not going to be out any money, but as a hard working, honest American who served her country honorably, it makes me so angry. I took the time to post this because I want to warn others. Check out Ava Flowers scam on Facebook. Yup, there's a whole Facebook page on them. Sad to take advantage of people in this way.
BUYER BEWARE. Do NOT order from this company. My friend finished chemo and I sent her a bouquet via Ava's Flowers as they advertise they sell flowers from "local florists" and I wanted her to receive a beautiful bouquet. I ordered for next day delivery, which did not happen but wasn't even the main issue here.
My friend asks me if I had sent her flowers via DoorDash from the supermarket (King Sooper). I said no that was not me, I ordered from a florist.
She shows me the card which is my name. They literally just DoorDashed her a grocery store bouquet of flowers. I spent 81$ to get her something really nice, and they quite literally scammed me. The bouquet was nothing like the picture, and obviously from a chain supermarket. I could have done that myself.
When I called customer service, they put me on hold and called the recipient (without telling me) she was nice and said she liked the flowers, which they used as their case for there being "clearly no issues." Please do not give this company your money.
We ordered a beautiful bouquet from Ava's Flowers on Thursday to be delivered the next day to my sister-in-law for her 70th birthday in Nisswa, MN. On SATURDAY we received notice that the bouquet we had ordered was no longer available and we could choose another selection to be delivered the following TUESDAY. We canceled the order and voiced our displeasure that the 70th birthday was missed. Don't trust this business.
Poor service I placed a order of Flowers for my wife and said it's for our anniversary and then she would be at work from 8am to 5 pm and it was important. And the lady said oh ok no problem we can have it there by 1.1 came around no Flowers 3 came same thing 4 came around I called again and they put me on hold then transfered me to there un helpful support line then it disconnected then I get a call from the delivery driver and he has the ball to bull face lie it m and say I tryed calling ur wife and she did not pick up and I try to deliver the flowers and the business was closed now like I said openfrom 8 am to 5pm my wife opens and closes the office she works in and this call was at 430 so my point is BAD SERVICE AND BAD BUSINESS DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS
My boyfriend ordered 2 dozen roses we received 3 flowers total an we were told 11 am they arrived at 7 pm. This is a awful buisness. Buyers beware!
Delivery for a specific day turned out to be 2 days later. If you pay about $5 more, you can get reliable flowers.com

Order an item iff web site and when it gets delivered it is half the size less colored flowers and all green shrub like junk. They still charged the same price. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I ordered a bouquet each for my daughter & her friend who are at college 15 hrs away. First, my order instructions weren't followed at all. Like at all at all. Second, they came in a box-wasn't aware of that. That wasn't nearly as exciting as being in a pretty vase. 3rd, the associate put my email in wrong so i wasn't getting any updates and bc it's Valentine's Day the wait time was quite sometime. 4th one of the orders didn't even get delivered and i was told they wouldn't be here until the 15th. 5th, i ordered 1 dozen of pink roses and i got 11 red roses. 6th. After all of the issues they only offered a $10 credit. 7. I told them to just cancel my order and give me a refund. 8. They cancelled the order and gave me a refund for $10 less.
So now i have to call and wait on the phone to talk to an associate to figure that out.
I have never left a bad review for any business bc I've never had this bad of an experience. If you don't want to be stressed out over a very expensive flower order, i would stay away this company.

I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. The delivery date was promised between May 7-9 - on or before Mother's Day. I received 2 calls on Friday the 7th about the order, first requesting a phone number to contact me (they were calling me at my contact phone number) and then for my email address - which they had already sent an email to with the order confirmation. I made sure to verify that the flowers would arrive on or before Mother's Day, asked to speak with a supervisor to verify, and was told supervisors only work via email and that the flowers would arrive on Mother's Day my mother in law was sobbing on the phone because her flowers did not arrive.
Today I received a call from support to ‘verify the delivery address. When I again asked to speak with a supervisor because the flowers were not delivered for Mother's Day I was hung up on. I received a callback moments later only to be hung up on again.
I tried to call for support but was hung up on with every option I selected. Finally, I selected the option to place a new order and got to a human…who said they could not help me and transferred me to support.
I waited 48 mins to speak with a supervisor and was again hung up on. Finally, after several calls, I spoke with a supervisor called Sebastian@ ext 2343 who told me there was nothing they could do aside from offering a $20 credit on future purchases.

Worst floral delivery ever! Ordered a big basket with several flowers including a blooming and got 2 green SMALL plants in a wicker dish.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
