This business should be closed, the absolute worst service ever. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister in a major hospital following major surgery. Then the string of emails and excuses for delays from Avas followed. I received false promises for delivery time and repeated excuses for delays. I spent too much time on the phone trying to respond to their requests (e.g., the first one was during the time frame the delivery was to occur when they emailed me to contact them, and then the representative explained that they needed a backup delivery address just in case -- if that was required why not ask on the order form rather than delay the whole process?). I then spent at least an hour with Avas trying to cancel. To top it off, after canceling and receiving confirmation of the cancelation, days later Avas sent me an email confirmation for placing the same order with them! Never in a million years would I have placed another order with this organization and I now fear I will never get my refund. I have no trust in them or what they will do next. They are either very disorganized and need to get their act together, or highly unethical.
Paid $116 for a flower arrangement. Was given a 3 day delivery window, (mind you this order was placed 4 days before the delivery was supposed arrive) now we got an email the day the order was supposed to be delivered, that it won't arrive until tomorrow. DON'T PROMISE PEOPLE A DELIVERY WINDOW IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER IN THAT WINDOW! I would have been fine if they would have told me at checkout they couldn't make the delivery on the day I wanted it, but to send me an email on the it's supposed arrive is just ridiculous.
Please do not order from this company - SAVE THE HEADACHE - I ordered a same-day floral arrangement and paid the extra service fee. This company advertises that they are in a specific city but are not. I will NEVER order from this company again. If you need flowers delivered, NEVER purchase from this company. I live in California, and my daughter lives in Arizona. Avas Flowers did not have it on the same day, even after paying the extra fee. They will re-deliver after calling numerous times and being put on hold four times. If you need to deliver flowers to a loved one in another city, DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS. Save yourself a headache. I also was on hold for over 20 minutes. When the rep returned on the phone, she said they would schedule the re-delivery for the next day. After my daughter's birthday!
Update: Today is Feb 11, and still no flowers. I cannot understand how a company can operate this way. Two days later (this morning), I received a phone call telling me the flowers would be delivered tomorrow, Feb 12. I asked for a full refund, and they said, "We can give you credit," which I will never order from Avas Flowers again. Instead, I opted for a $20 refund and hopefully delivered flowers on Feb 12.
I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter's work for her 24th Birthday. I paid the extra money to make sure they were delivered by 2pm. It was suppose to be a surprise but I had to ask my daughter if she got anything. As of 230, she said no. I tried to contact them to get a refund for the RUSH fee. She contacted them and was told that they could deliver them to her house by 7pm. Well, that didn't happen. I called and asked for a total refund and these people wanted to discount my order by 16$ at first. I told them, NO HER BIRTHDAY IS TODAY NOT TOMORROW. Then they tried to say well then discount 20$. I again said NO. Then they said they would take off the service fee. Once again I said NO, YOU RUINED THE SURPRISE and I'M DONE. Finally after 30-45 mins I get approved for a refund. I hope I get it. Find another flower shop if you can. Do Not Use AVAS.
Ava's Flowers is a poorly ran company…I order same day Dozens Red&Yellow Roses for my GF for $101 at 11:44am on May 22nd to be delivered in Ames Iowa at her job…the sales lady assured me they would be delivered within 3-4 hours…around 3pm I received a text telling me that my flowers would be arriving next day (May 23) due to lack of delivery drivers…when I called them to ask questions they pass me from person to person. After transfer number 3 I asked for a manager…I've been on hold for 20 minutes…I'm very disappointed in Ava's Flowers. At this point I want a Full refund and I would urge any whom reads this to do business elsewhere due to the unprofessional nature of their business practices.

The original arrangement wasn't available but I was told the replacement was just as colorful and beautiful. Not. A white and yellow bouquet of daisies arrived. Very tacky. I was so embarrassed!
I had one Daughter going to a state meet for powerlifting 3 hours from home my other daughter stayed home it was her birthday an I decided that a great way to show her I love her an was thinking of her was to send flowers as amazing as she was. I ordered the flowers got it Deluxe (79.00)an a full size birthday card for (4.99)Total 109.00. I was ok with that cause that means a amazing bouquet right? Wrong what arrived was only 4 roses white with brown dying ends an other flowers wilted an shriveled up an a small birthday card that normally comes with the flowers. I called when she send the picture cause the original order showed 12 roses the deluxe would be double that. An there was not near what I paid for. I called I was given 2 options. Option #1 re deliver the arrangement at no cost to me it was already 5pm witch means it would have to have been the best day an no thank you there has been enough damage done. Option#2 was get 50 percent of what I paid for the flowers back so I got 39.00 when I questioned about the birthday card she said all she could do was the 39.00 for flowers. This is sad that you take advantage of hard working people just know your business will never prosper. I work hard for my money I'm a single mom, all I wanted was to make my baby smile an instead you made it a day of sadness.
Poor poor quality! Wrong flowered sent and they tacked on a high service charge that made the poor quality flowerers from a grocery store.EXPENSIVE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A Joke, will never use them again!
I placed an order for an arrangement two days ahead of a funeral service. I gave a specific time that I wanted the arrangement delivered before (11am CST.), when the viewing was to begin. I arrived at the funeral home at 11 & the flowers hadn't been delivered. I waited an hour to allow for the delivery. I contacted the location where I placed the order. I was told that the designer contacted the funeral home & was told the service was not until 2 PM. I explained that I didn't care what the funeral home told them that I had specified a time for them to be delivered. They gave me $10 credit for the problem & assured me the delivery would be made by 1:30 PM. The flowers arrived 1 minute prior to the funeral service at 2:00 pm. It had the flowers in the arrangement that I had ordered, but they were not arranged as indicated in the picture. Unfortunately, due to the arrival time, I did not get a picture of it. It was to be an arrangement of yellow roses with white lilies, carnations & greenery. It looked like the roses had been stuck towards the back, and everything else spread around them. I was very disappointed, but since it is so difficult to get in touch with them, I just decided not to bother. However, I guarantee you I will never order from them again.
The flowers I ordered were for my aunt's funeral viewing. They never got delivered. When I called I was put on hold 3 times. Which I should have been with my family paying my respects!. I finally was told they didn't have the flowers I ordered. I explained it was to late I just wanted a refund. The guy on the phone kept talking over me. Wanted to give me a discount and send to the families home. Are they kidding me... I was on the phone for 50 minutes before he finally put the manager on. At that point I couldn't be polite anymore. I called and ordered what I thought was going to be a beautiful display for $62.99 but when I saw they charged my account for $102.00 I called immediately and they told me there is also a charge for handling the flowers when I decided that was way too much and wanted my money returned they gave me $10 off to be fair. Then they called and said they could not deliver that day but could the next. That's when again I just didn't feel good about this purchase and again asked for a full refund and they said that they would give another $20 off. I was having a hard time cancelling my order. They just didn't want to give me my money back. They also said they would double the arrangement and make it very beautiful, 3 days later when I went to my mother's I couldn't believe what was delivered! It looked nothing like the piece I ordered. It barely had any flowers in the arrangement and when delivered 3 of the flowers were broken. When I called to ask for a refund they told me they would not compensate me what- so- ever. This place was a complete rip off! DONT ORDER HERE, I PROMISE YOU WONT BE HAPPY.
I bought a bouquet for my mother from these scam artists the day before Mother's Day, but after making the payment, I checked the receipt they'd emailed me and saw that they'd charged me a $27.94 "service fee" that was not listed on the bill when I made the payment. I immediately tried cancelling the order online, and I received an automatic message saying that I couldn't cancel the order. I immediately emailed them asking to cancel the order and issue me a 100% refund, and they never responded. I called them as well and no one picked up. They delivered the order the next day, and when I called them again after to get my money back, they never answered. I contacted my bank to dispute the payment, and Avas Flowers flat out lied, saying I'd never contacted them about a refund so they were denying my request. Clearly this company is designed to scam people and then insulate themselves from any negative feedback. They don't answer when you contact them, and they add hidden charges that are probably written in microscopic text at the bottom of the page or something. They clearly don't exist to help customers, but rather scam them out of their money.
I ordered from Ava's thinking they were a florist local to my friend's house. I sent her flowers to cheer her up. I didn't discover that it was on online service until after I placed my order. I placed my order early in the day, but was contacted early afternoon and told that the florist couldn't deliver same day. I was promised a refund of $15, which has not yet come through, but it has not been 5 business days yet. I was promised next day delivery, but was contacted again in the early afternoon to learn that they still couldn't be delivered. As I was speaking to them, my friend showed me that she received the arrangement. It was a very beautiful arrangement, and very close to what I ordered. (It wasn't exact). The low rating is due to the multiple uninformed contacts from Ava's flowers. I shouldn't have to contact the place I ordered from to inform them that the flowers I ordered were delivered. I will not use this service again. I recommend contacting local florists directly if possible.

My delivery was scheduled for June 16 before 2 since the funeral home closed at 5pm. The viewing and showing was June 17th, 12-2. To ensure the flowers got there on time, I chose Friday. Called the funeral to confirm if they got them at 4pm and they didn't. Ava's customer service finally after 5 calls explain that the florist could have gotten the service date from the funeral home and changed my date to Saturday. I don't understand how the florist can change my delivery date and it's allowed without checking with the customer. I paid for those flowers to be delivered a day before because we were doing something with them. Then it was marked as delivered at 6:40 even though they confirmed that it would be delivered this morning. They reassigned it and assured me it would make it. It was 10 am for a 12pm viewing/funeral. The funeral has passed, no delivery. Spoke with customer service and they had the nerve to say it's going to be delivered Monday. To who? The service was today. I've been dismissed and this was so disappointing. I wasn't able to make it to the funeral but I wanted my flowers there. There was a meaning behind it. Order #*******
My bf sent me flowers from them today in GA, and I can't express how disappointed we are with their services! Never again will we use Avas Flowers, he spoke with sales rep at 9am this morning and was told it would arrive no later than 12. By 3pm he texted me asking if i received anything at my job, to which I replied no, so he reached out to your agency and was told they would be out to me soon. He was so upset, he was trying to surprise me at work & they ended up calling me to let me know the driver was an hour away. At 4:20 she said would try to make it by 6, & I asked she call me when she reached the area bc my job closes at 5 and I would gladly meet with her. By 5:35 I had called & texted multiple times to which I received no response. She texted me at 5:51 "I took it to your job". I texted back to see if she left it with someone there or if she simply left it outside? After several messages, I received NO REPLY! Luckily. I went to my job (which btw is on a busy road) & sure enough they were outside the door. Keep in mind there is currently an advisory for bad weather starting today due to the hurricane! If I wouldn't have gone to check, they could have been stolen or damaged! My bf spent good money trying to surprise me & was so upset about the entire thing. I loved his efforts, but this company ruined the entire experience! The arrangements was VERY poorly organized as well, my nearest grocery store has better arrangements than what I received, especially considering the cost! I hope no one uses them bc they will unfortunately be disappointed, worst experience EVER! SMH!
I so wish I had looked at their horrible reviews before ordering flowers through them. I'd attach my receipt but they never emailed it to me despite 2nd request that they do so. It's extremely difficult to contact them with concerns because you only get a recorded message about "flex delivery" followed by "good bye." I finally was put in touch with someone who was supposed to help me with cancelling my order-- because I realized they'd lied to me -- and that person tried to get me to accept the removal of one charge from the order and eventually offered to help me with cancelling my order; he then put me on hold for what was supposed to only be "2-3 minutes." Do NOT use Avas. Check out their lousy record with BBB, Complaints Board, and complaints against their NJ center on PeopleClaim (https://www.peopleclaim.com/complaint-history/avas-flowers---flower-tech-center-inc-mahwah-nj-*******). Will see if the flowers arrive and post photos if as reviews suggest they're as lousy as the rest of their service.
Flowers came in a box wilted. You pay $28 service fee, but you have to fix the arrangement yourself.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
