Have a defective charge controller, ruined a pair of MK Gel Cell 12volt batteries, and they go to my power wheelchair... NOT GOOD. After some bouncing around over mfg warranty(expired 6 mos ago)(one asurion worker said it was still active)I found it wasn't and initiated process a second time. They finally came through, getting a refund by gift card to get another when I ship the old one back to them. The employee I dealt with today was Very professional and had things sorted out quickly.
Purchased insurance for a 12 x 12 pop up through $#*!s sporting good. About a month after we purchased it a storm damaged it and we filed a claim, Asurion refused to cover the damage and said they would email us with their reason for denial. Email never claim and when we called they said to refer to the email. We explained it never came and they said it would come soon, 3 weeks later we still have not received an email or a reason for the denial we will never purchase this insurance again.

After talking to vrw tec coach in Phillipines I am getting a pop up window that says digital secure stops working. Idk. Ready to give vrw up. Been with since 1999.

Once you are approve with repair and if the product isn't fixable and you approved to get a refund for the product the wallet system they use never get sent to the spam folder or your email and once you call the department for the information you are placed on hold. On 10/10/2022 I've been on hold already for 1 hour just to verify my address and refund. Needs a better system.

I purchased an LG side-by-side refrigerator in Spring 2019 from Home Depot. Although I usually do not purchase extended warranties on appliances, I decided to purchase a 5-year extended warranty plan this time. I'm glad I did! The ice maker stopped producing and dispensing ice in September 2022. I called LG directly, thinking that they were the folks to talk to since I had an extended warranty, but they told me that the warranty was actually with Home Depot so I would have to call Home Depot to schedule a repair. However, they did patiently walk me through a lot of troubleshooting steps, none of which resulted in fixing my ice maker. So I called Home Depot, and they connected me with Asurion. It was very easy to talk with the Asurion rep and schedule the repair appointment. Asurion texted me frequently to keep me informed, which was great. The technician (Nate) also texted me when he was headed to my house and once he actually arrived. Nate installed a brand new ice maker, which works perfectly. Nate was friendly, courteous, and very competent at his job. The installation was pretty quick, and then Nate explained what I should do now that the new unit was installed (that it could take up to 24 hours for the ice maker to start producing ice, and I should throw out the first couple of ice cube dumps because the ice might taste a little plastic). I followed his instructions (except I threw the initial ice dumps into my plants because there is a drought here!), and now my family is enjoying our ice maker very much! Thanks, Nate, and thanks to Asurion for doing a great job!

NOR ASURION. 30 DAYS CALLED ASURUION, THEY APPOLOGIZED, ASSIGNED A NEW SERVICER THEY RESPONDED, ORDERED PARTS: RESPONDED AND REPLACED PARTS, BUT NOT ABLE TO FIX PROBLEM. 2 WEEKS, NO RESPONSE FROM THE SERVICE COMPANY NOR ASURION. CALLED ASURION, THEY DECIDED TO IMBUSE ME FOR PRODUCT REPLACEMENT. OVERALL SATISFIED.
SUGGEST: NEED TO CHANGE PROCESS, TIMELY RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER TO BE INFORMED BY TECH SERVICER OR ASURION, POST PROCESS OF INITIAL SERVICE REPAIR OR SUBSEQUENT ACTION NEEDED,
Asurion is a con job. Their website doesn't let you cancel, you can call and cancel your policy but since they never send confirmation emails, or any kind of emails at all to remind you about your policy, they can just disregard you canceling your policy.
Additionally, the website and it's account management are an indictment unto themselves. You can't see what your billing history is, or what your payment info is, their chat feature won't even supply the last 4 digits of the card unless you're willing to go through all your credit cards one by one and then they'll confirm if that's the one they use. I was astonished that I was asked to do something like that when seeing my own account info, my information, that belongs to me, is not accessible unless you call. Unless your hobby is breaking electronics to see if insurance will cover the damage stay away from Asurion.
