I cracked my phone screen. It wasn't horrible but I like to watch my shows on my phone so I wanted to get it repaired. I had the warranty protection and it only cost about $40 plus tip to have them fix my screen. The man came to my house and did the job outside and I was very happy with the service except for one thing. My home button got very hard to use. Sometimes it worked perfectly and other times it was hard to press down – but nothing that I couldn't work with and I didn't want report that the technician did an inferior job. However, it eventually got to the point where clicking the home button became very difficult so I called Asurion to say I was having a problem since my screen was repaired- I was told I had a one year warranty with the repair. As it turns out, the stuck home button is not part of the warranty. I would have to pay $189 to have them fix that problem. I tried to explain that the problem was a direct result of having my screen repaired but the agent said she couldn't do anything about it. I tried to argue the point to no avail. I will be sure to always go with another warranty company over a Asurion in the future. I will cancel my total home protection under Verizon that uses Asurion – but I feel I'm stuck with it for other things. It is just very frustrating and I am very upset.

New Cell Phone Activation

Had trouble activating new phone to existing line... as far as I know... followed Verizon online instructions... did not work so opened a "chat"... Sussie (I hope I spelled that correctly)... was very professional and helpful... she resolved the issue very quickly... Verizon For Life. :)

Total Ripoff! AVOID!

Asurion replaced my broken phone with one that was broken. Then it took over a week and a dozen phone calls to get a new phone shipped (still not received). I would AVOID this waste of money in the future.

Easy claim cancellation process.

In my case Murphy's law came onto effect. I had a camera failure on my security system so I filed a claim. Hours later the camera starting working. Figures!
The initial submission process was easy and the shipment approval was fast.
I got onto CHAT and the cancellation process was easy and painless for me. Not sure how painless it was for Asurion.

Broken RC Truck

I purchased a RC Truck for my grandson. It broke. Initially I had trouble entering my information online. Thankful they have a chat line making the claim easy. I got a full refund with Asurion. I was glad I added the coverage to my purchase.

Don't do it over the phone the website is faster and easier it only took me around 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile over the phone I took almost an hour finding the right phone number and etc.

Too many screens to click through to complete.
I can't see my final claim info due to a pop up to write this review that had no option to close it to see my info. That is ridiculous. Thank goodness the claim filing was easy.
