The contract you sign up for claims you will pay $30 to repair a cracked screen; however, it is actually $300. MY STORY - Phone damaged on both front and back. Two separate appointments were made to have someone come to our house, and both were missed by the provider - they just did not show up. Service rep said that if third appointment was missed then they would send a new phone. After a total of more than three weeks the service person actually did call when 'on their way' and asked if the back of the phone was also damaged, then refused to provide the $30 service. Many weeks lost, tenfold cost increase, zero actual service. After more than 15 years with Verizon we will be checking with AT&T and T-Mobile, couldn't be worse or more expensive with lower integrity.

The battery for my Prettycare cordless vacuum stopped working after just 3 months and Asurion refunded me the entire amount of my purchase at Amazon. Asurion is an excellent company to do business with.

Worth every penny

With the current state of appliances I can't imagine purchasing a new one without an extended warranty. Our Asurion warranty claim through Home Depot was extremely easy to work through. Easy to schedule. Quick resolution by a very knowledgeable technician. 100% recommend. (Saving our receipt from the purchase helped immensely, just FYI)

Do not purchase this cell phone insurance (get it from another company).

Daughter cracked lens. Assurion said will only repair cracked screens - anything else, must replace phone with (formerly defective and perhaps not well cared for) refurbished for $250, which is more than I paid for it in the first place.

Paid $28 to insure 4 phones for years. Roughly $720 in insurance $ since bought the phone. If you add $250 deductible, would be paying $970. Just want lens fixed! I don't want to exchange for for overpriced refurbished/used device.

Update - the repair shop they own said $89 to repair lens. So cheaper to just pay for the repair myself. Assurion refused to cover cost and insist all they can do send me a refurbished phone for $250 instead.

Makes absolutely no sense to pay for Asurion cell phone insurance. It's basically a scam.

I wish I could give minus star rating.
Asurion is a waste of money. Since the town Im in does not have s repair shop asurion associates with. They expect me to drive 2 hours to get my phones screen fixed. I've never made a claim. Will not send loaner phone and the only other option is pay 400$ for a refurbished phone. Absolutely garbage. Not worth it. Waste of money

Wonderful Customer Service

After a half an hour of struggling to register my televisions insurance by myself, I contacted Asurions customer service and was met with a 5 star employee, they helped me get through the process in under a few minutes.
Asurions customer service made the whole process so much easier.

I recently broke my phone and had to receive a replacement phone from my Asurion insurance coverage. The deductible was decent, only $250.00. Now I know why. The phone they replaced my broken phone with is glitchy as all hell. The screen doesn't respond to my touch well and it can't even process one app's worth of data without struggling to keep up. When I make a call, the person on the other line doesn't hear me for a solid 3 seconds after connecting. I pay the insurance so that when something happens to my perfectly functioning phone, I can get a perfectly functioning phone back. A new phone, not some used or refurbished manufacturers reject phone. I expected better.

Easy peasy

So I had some dead pixels on my phone screen that started to get worse. Filing a claim online was simple, and fast. I took it to the AT&T store in San Marcos, and my screen replacement was done in less than an hour. Cameron was awesome!

Printer problem and filing of claim

Pio tried to assist in problem solving my printer problem. When the problem could not be solved, she filled out the necessary forms so that filing a claim would be simple and suggested I call the claims department since she was tech support.
She was very helpful!

Setting up new iphone

My son lost his iphone in a pit at work. We filed claim and had new phone within 24 hours. We then had to set up new phone and had a wonderful tech who helped us! A very stressful situation was handled with ease! Thank you again!

Four Stars for a good job.

Good job and well done. The only negative part of this experience was having to wait so long for all the parts to arrive. We do not place any blame on Asurion, or our service technicians that came to our home to do the repairs. If my review was only of Asurion and our service techs, I would have awarded a five star review. But the review is for the overall experience so four stars were awarded.

Great customer support

While placing a claim the site timed out, so I decided to chat with customer service to make sure my claim was placed. The customer support agent filed the claim for me quickly and easily. I received an email with instructions and shipping label to send out my product to have it repaired within minutes.

I have been paying insurance on my phone for years in case the phone gets accidentally damaged. Never had to file a claim till today. My phone dropped off my bed and the screen is cracked.
The deductible for a screen repair is $29. Asurion says because there is not a technician within 60 miles of me, the only options are to send the phone in and be without for a week which I cant do, or pay the price of a replacement phone of $200. Just spent the whole afternoon trying to get them to honor the insurance I've paid for all these years. They just want more money out of me. What a scam

I rarely purchase extended warranties...

I rarely purchase extended warranties, but this Instant Ink printer was a new product that might pose a learning curve. Having access to technicians could be very helpful. I've had my printer only a few days and already have accessed Asurian/Staples several times. One of their techs helped me set up the printer and several other techs have helped answer other questions.

My iphone screen was cracked and the providers at Asurion on University Way were great to work with. They reached out ahead of time to help me make my appointment and they fixed the screen in about an hour. They were very friendly and the whole experience was quite easy. I'd definitely use them again.

Worth the investment.

For inquiring minds, Asurion=phone insurance.
It is the MOST cost effective investment in these modern times of mobile devices.
Security, tablets, laptops, phones, Asurion can cover it all. Having a phone screen which alone to repair would be $400 without question, a minimal monthly investment of which is added to my phone bill payment, repair is only $30. Saves my pocket, my sanity, & everyday communication.
Asurion is a choice to choose without question.

Only reason I put 1 star is because this site would not except 0 stars as an answer. This is by far the worst insurance policy you could possibly purchase for your phone. I have submitted 5 different claims (on the same phone) and it continuously gets denied. The last phone call I had with them, they said my claim wasn't going through because my phone line had not been suspended (I activated my old phone due to having to have it for work) so we suspended the line. Guess what? Email the next day saying the claim had been denied again! Now I have no phone, still owe 900$ on my new phone that was lost, a suspended phone line, and no way to contact my clients and employees for work. Unbelievable, Asurion is an absolute scam. Do not throw your money away paying for this service because coverage will not be there when you need it.

The Tech from the beginning to the end was very professional and informative. I wasn't unsure about his performance of doing the repair, as with other services from past cell providers left a bad experience. I will definitely recommend this site for repairs

Their no sweat protection plan is a hastle, they make you fill out forms, and jump through a bunch of hoops all to tell you they won't replace your defective product. Company seems to be in a downward spiral. Don't waste your time or money on these thrives
