Their phone customer service sucks - getting transferred from agent to agent and have to spend 15 minutes explaining my issue to each one! I'd rather just hop to a store and get a "Genius" instead.
All apple products are too costly but they are durable. They are best in customer service. You can easily found any apple store near you for buying and for repairing. I think that is reliable.
I bought an iPhone 12 from the Apple Store online, Unfortunately, that phone did not reach me and was returned to Apple, Apple was asking for money for the phone that was not delivered to me, and I tried everything to make them understand that the phone was not delivered to me and was returned, and you can track this issue based on the serial number. But unfortunately, the customer service did not bother to follow up on this issue, They wrote a non payment report to the my credit card, it took 6 months to prove to them that the phone was returned, And here I realized that Apple's customer service system is much worse than I thought
It took a while for Apple to finally get ahold of me, but they WERE able to tell me how to reboot my system (erasing everything and starting over completely). Fortunately I hadn't been using the iPad long so the apps I did have and the information I lost weren't that hard to recover. I hate to think about what would have happened if I had the iPad longer. Like I said, I had to reboot the system and start all over again. Hesitant to update Ifunes again.
Updated itunes to connect with my ipad. Apple tried to verify with my ipad. Got kicked off internet, now ipad useless. Won't finish updating ipad. Can't even TURN OFF ipad. Tried to contact support, want my serial number before I can even ask for help. "serial number is on your ipad" - which I CAN'T ACCESS. Finally read their microscopic numbers on back of ipad. Schedule a callback eight hours down the road - again, my ipad WON'T EVEN TURN OFF! Tried TWICE to schedule a callback, won't let me! "send it in for repair". IT WAS THEIR UPDATE THAT DESTROYED MY IPAD!
The most USELESS support I have ever come across.
First the machine is not even the year I paid for it is 2 years older. And apple wants to do nothing about that fact.
Second I have always used apple products because they were virus and glitch free. I am older and by no means tech savvy. Nor do I have a desire to be. So I was willing to pay more for apple because it was easier to use and safer from outside attacks. NO MORE! It used to be worth the several hundred to a thousand more I spent on apple because I didnt have to spend it on virus protection each month. Well this is a by gone thing. I now have an apple that no virus company can seem to protect. And I spend more time with support trying to fix $#*! than I do actually doing stuff on my computer. Since I literally only use it for social media to promote and sale my products and apple cant seem to get the stuff right with social media. I spent $2300 on a paper weight. The highest grade mini mac is a total POS! And I am not one to use that language but I can not think of a more proper way to describe this garbage.
I like a new iphone 7, even though I hesitated if it is worths buying. What I can highlight as pros, definitely design. Apple knows how to make really beautiful devices, so that people start wanting them from the first glance :) However, be cautious as the back panel can be scratched easily if it is not covered. You do not need to apply big forces to damage your phone, it can be done easily. Would be great if Apple can improve panel resistance.
A battery lasts for almost 2 days, which is amazingly long. Comparing to my previous iphone 4 I do not need to take a power bank anywhere I go, cause this one is more reliable. (Seriously, I listen to music, read and browse using it).
Turning back a bit to drawbacks, I am annoyed by a new feature that the phone lights up when you suddenly take it and turn it. I would say it is inconvenient, cause it is easily unlocked on its own. When you listen to music and keep your phone in a pocket it might happen that other functions are turned on without your awareness.
Overall, the device is cool and modern, a bit expensive, though. A very good synchronization with macbook. Still recommend it for sure :)
My Iphone 6 is old but it worked fine. Then Apple told me I needed to update my phone to the lates operating system. My phone quit working. Contacted Apple repeatedly and they said buy a new phone. Ok. So your saying YOU destroyed my phone with YOUR update and you want me to buy another one? I said. Why not restore the previous IOS that worked fine? They said "you need to buy a new phone." Oh. They did offer to find a courier that I COULD PAY to shipt THEM my phone so they could look at it. No guarantee. Just pay some money to send it here for a few weeks and we will see what we can do. I mean SERIOUSLY?!?! APPLE RUINED MY PHONE WITH THEIR UPDATE! AND NOW THEY WANT ME TO PAY?!? OR BUY ANOTHER?!? Buy any phone but an apple. They say they expect their phone owners to replace their phone every 5 years and they currently cost over $1,000 and they will force the phones to not work so you have no choice after around 8 years.
There are some things I dislike (cost, no replaceable battery) but I ultimately really like my MacBook Air and iPhone. They cost a bit more than other options but I've had way fewer problems with my Apple products than I have with PCs and Android phones.
Apple is amazing in all ways. Mac all the way. I've dealt with the customer service there are they are the best. I recommend their products to everyone.
On February 15,2015, about 12:00 PM, my girlfriend and I went to Shadyside Apple store to repair our phone's screen.
Unfortunately, the service we have experienced is bad. I am disappointed because at first, the guy who took our phone to the repair department told us that the screen repairing will only need about 30 to 45 minutes, and he told us to come back at 1 PM. However, when we came back to the store, the repairing has not done. Another staff told us that we have to wait for another 30 minutes. While we were waiting for the second time, we were sitting on the chair in the genius bar. However, one apple genius ask us to leave and don't sit behind the bar. We told him that we were waiting for our phone, but he still asked us to leave. I thought what he means was he want us to sit somewhere else, but still make us uncomfortable.
Also, after 30 minutes' wait, we were told that the repairing was still not done yet. Also, during the two hours, we have been continued asking for the information again and again from different staffs. The stuff who was taking in charge of our case did not ask for the updating information since he took our phone to repair. After spending 2 hours waiting in total, we get our phone at about 2:15 PM. We are huge Apple fans, and we think highly of your services that were the reason why we chose to go back to Apple store instead of somewhere else. However, we were very disappointed this time.
I love their brand spankin Macbook Pro! GUN METAL! I also purchased the nike apple watch. TOTALLY love it! I have lost a few LBS now that I my watch tells me how active I need to be to reach my goals.
The app store is the worst $#*!ing digital "service" I've ever used, and I'm not picky. I grew up with Mac so I'm not a PC-preferred person either. After this bull$#*! sucking me into a vortex monopoly I'm considering quitting Mac.
I've reset my password over 100 times trying to get into the app store over the years because Apple's $#*!ing $#*!s force you into their monopoly and purchase only from the app store. IMovie used to come on the computer for free, no hassle no problems. Now it's locked up and I will never be able to get to it. It won't let me create a new account and guess what: I never started a $#*!ing account. Those $#*!s screwed me over and I never asked for any of this. One minute I have iMovie, the next minute I don't and I'm verifiably locked out for ever. I got your message loud and clear Apple. You don't want me as your customer, I'm happy to spend my life time elsewhere. Go $#*! yourselves. Monopolies are bull$#*! and we're not putting up with that garbage treatment anymore.

Absolute $#*! show. I can't access my IPhone because my apple id is blocked. First for 7 now for 13 DAYS. LIKE WHAT? AND CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS? AND WANT ME TO WAIT 13 DAYS WITHOUT A PHONE? EXCUSE ME? Excuse my language but f* this. Oh, also went to the store but because it was the launch of the IPhone 12 they couln't help me with my problem. Mabye first take care of your existing customers to retain them before launching the ******* version of the f' iPhone. Jesus.

Actually I am a big Apple fan! Because they are so beautiful, so amazing. The web service is also great. Although the price is a little high, but it is worthy.
Probably no one will do anything about this, but I will make sure to add to yelp and any other platform for others to understand how detrimental your CS is today. Over 2 years I have been trying to change my region in order to be able to add a payment method since I am now in Honduras not the US. The response is, you have a balance unless you use the balance you can not change the region. I was never able to leave my apple balance at $0 because not even making meaningless purchases the balance was always reflecting cents. My workaround buy giftcards to continue my subscriptions.
Now after working it this way for years, I now don't get the option unless I add a payment method which I can not because I can not change the region. Now my icloud is downgraded, i will end up losing my pictures. Your customer services keeps sending me articles that do not solve my problem. I certainly believe that you no longer have real people interacting but bots. I hate this sooo much so frustrated. I am a true apple customer cellphone, watch, laptop, and tablet. So little appreciation for a loyal customer.

Adding to my previous review. I found a technician that helped improved the frozen mode of Apple, matter of fact I only wait about3 minutes now. So I had to report the good they have done.
Since I shift from Microsoft to Apple, some 7 years ago, I have nothing but praise about the company, the tech support and customer support. To be honest, I don't know how I survived when I was using Microsoft.
I've had a very poor shopping experience with Apple. The first time when I placed my iPhone 14 Pro back in November 2022, the phone was lost in shipping and over a month delayed, but I was given a goodwill gesture credit for the inconvenience.
Now this time I've placed an order for an iPhone 14 Pro for my spouse and it gets cancelled. I speak with a representative who recommends I match my billing address to the legal name without my go-by name in parenthesis, which doesn't make sense as the first iPhone 14 Pro order processed fine. Anyways I made the change and placed the another order for an iPhone 14 Pro and it gets cancelled again. Now the recommendation is to contact my bank which I used a credit card through and after being on hold with them and speaking with their representative, they informed me that there wasn't even a transaction that was declined but have made a note that I'm purchasing an iPhone 14 Pro.
I asked the chat representative what they can offer and they just said "my recommendation" and tells me to visit an Apple Store in-person which is ~20 miles away.
Basically there's no resolution as to why my order keeps getting cancelled online (with no notification to me as I have to check the order status to find out).

Answer: Buy an iPad. I believe that is what you want as thats their only device that looks like a "tablet".
Answer: IPhone's are more reliable and they last longer (mainly because of the software, and the software updates). Moreover, Apple has better warranties, better customer service, and their product have a better resell value.
