After an unexpected hospitalization we needed to move our parents to an assisted living. The day after hospitalization Karen from A Place for Mom contacted me. She guided us through the process, set up tours, gave suggestions on things to look for. Her help was invaluable navigating the move. Would highly recommend A Place for Mom
So helpful to get the ball rolling, setting up tours, and answering questions. Plus Josh was available when I was to talk, text, or email. Thanks for everything.
This company is not trustworthy. From the beginning it was a bad experience followed by call after call from more than one number. I would never trust a company like this with my parents care when they start out with lies and harassment.
A Place for Mom saved me! I had to find a memory care facility for my 94 year old mother in a short period of time after she broke her arm and went downhill in the hospital and rehab. I was trying to look on my own and not having any luck (and I was distraught because before this I had been taking care of her at my home for years).
A Place for Mom sent me numerous options right away and set up the tours for me! I found a great place right away and mom is very happy there!
Corrie Nance was assigned as my guide for my area. I could not ask for a more patient, accommodating person. She took her time to explain the differences between the types of facilities and tirelessly answered all my endless questions. She assisted in having representatives from nearby assisted living businesses contact me and answer my questions about their homes. I unfortunately concluded that I needed a more traditional nursing home and she pointed me in the right direction.
There is simply nothing like "A Place For Mom" in the country! They are dedicated to their clients, unbiased in their recommendations as long as the facility works with them. Ms.Nance worked with me for weeks and I know I drove her crazy!
You can rest easy in working with A Place For Mom, whether for yourself or for a loved one.

They kept in touch many times for updates ti help us find the right place
I was really overwhelmed with finding a suitable place for my mother and A Place for Mom was an absolute God send. They put me in touch with the people I needed to get in touch with, they scheduled tours for me, provided important checklists to follow to help me choose which facility was best and they stayed in contact with me through out the entire process. I would have been completely lost without them. There were never any fees to me or my mother and no hidden gotcha's. I highly recommend their service.
Christina set up tours for my daughter and I at various facilities near Bangor Maine. She was very considerate of our schedule s and always kept us informed before and after our visits.
Virginia was always there to help with questions, assistance and suggestions.
I was looking for a new board and care home for my dad. I wanted a private room, close to my house and within budget. Nick from a Place for Mom was responsive, found what I needed, and followed up through the process making sure all my needs were met. Awesome job! Thank you Nick. My dad settled into his new place and is happy!
When you first begin looking at solutions for helping an aging relative find care or a good retirement community, it is overwhelming. A Place for Mom gives you a good list of choices along with additional reviews and insights about each option. I received followup messages on a regular basis but not too often which was good. This process is challenging and at times difficult. A Place for Mom helped in narrowing down the selections.
Place for Mom really helped get the ball rolling when I had no idea where to start. They helped get tours scheduled and ultimately led us to the facility we chose. Didn't know I would need such a service, really glad they were there.
Gave me a handful of places to review for our needs as well as client reviews.
Sent helpful articles on what to ask and look for in a facility.
And how to determine about safety. Ever y question was answered before I could even think of questions
They were a big help in finding a nice memory care center..
I went online to the website, answered a few questions, and within 30 minutes or so I was getting a call. The case manager was very helpful in finding places that were is my desired distance. He emailed me several places and I could look at pictures and get some useful information. The same day, representatives from the places that was sent to me called me to answer any questions. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We were able to get my dad into a wonderful facility within 7-10 days.
I was looking at a facility on my own while being hospitalized. Previously(before I was hospitalized) Antoinette Lee had discussed this facility with me. When I was discharged from the hospital, the medical staff directed me to a rehabilitation facility as a necessary treatment for me. To my surprise, they recommended the same location as the residential facility Ms. Lee and I had talked about. Once I got to the rehabilitation facility, I discovered the rehabilitation and residential facilities were collocated and were the type of facilities I wanted.
I found A Place For Mom online on a Monday morning and by Monday afternoon I had spoke with someone and had 2 tours scheduled. By Tuesday afternoon, I had pretty much chosen the place that would be best for my 94-year-old grandmother. My grandmother needs a help with meds and cooking, but that is about all and I found a great place for her.
Awesome 👌we got a place we liked in no time.
Place is great and accepting dogs too.
Needed help finding a residence for independent senior living. Got several suggestions. I followed up and found the right place.
Extremely helpful and caring. Quick to get help for someone unexpectedly in need of help.

Answer: In the Greater Louisville (Kentuckianna) metro area there are several I can recommend you consider based on our tour of recommended facilities in Southern Indiana. As residents of Southern Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, we chose Silvercrest in New Albany Indiana. They offer independent living in freestanding apartments as well as assisted living and also more complete care for those needing it. We also really liked Traditions at Hunters' Station in Sellersburg which has identical options, and Bennett House in Clarksville, which offers assisted living and additional services but does not have independent living. Some of these do have limited Medicaid beds in their nursing facilities.
