I couldn't find a place that accepted social security. There were no affordable nursing homes in Carlisle and Mechanicsburg and I was wasting my time looking. I remembered how I got the help I needed for my Mom, so I called and got the help I needed for my friend Ray who needed a home in 2 weeks.

When I called A Place for Mom, Brian Baugh answered the phone immediately and gave me his undivided attention. I explained that I was urgently seeking a memory care facility for my mother. He gathered a few details from me, including our price range, and told me someone would be getting in touch with me. In under an hour, I was contacted by Alma Macy who provided a curated list of memory care facilities in the communities I specified. All of them were within my price range and I was able to easily set up tours for the very next day. Within two days, my family and I were able to tour and select a wonderful facility where my mother now resides. Alma was with me every step of the way sending informative text messages and emails and ensuring I had everything I needed to make the best choice. I would recommend A Place for Mom to anyone seeking a facility for their parent(s). Thanks to their network, experience, and responsiveness, a challenging situation was resolved within a few days.

Lisa was absolutely amazing and so patient with me. I was looking for a place that would accept Medicaid and she gave me places that I never would have found on my own. She kept checking in to make sure I saw what options were available and really cared about what was going on. She is absolutely the best!

I was at my wits end not knowing what my next move would be to get the best help for my father. I started googling on the internet and came across a place for mom. They responded right of way. Melissa my senior advisor listened carefully to the delimma I was in. She knew right of way I was reaching out for help. Melissa got to work right of way giving me hope and inspiration. Within a week Melissa had found several places to view, within that week we found a very nice place for my dad to reside in. I must say he is really enjoying it as I speak. I would love to thank Melissa and her team for caring.

She asked relevant questions and gave me a complete list of facilities which met my specifications. She then scheduled me for tours of the chosen facilities. She followed up regularly.

When I called A Place for Mom to look for an assisted living facility for my father, I did not know what to expect. My advisor, Amanda, was knowledgeable and patient. She asked a lot of questions about my father and answered all of mine.
After our intake call I felt much calmer. She sent me a list of assisted living facilities within the distance I requested.
She called to follow up and find out my feedback and also referred me to other resources that could be of help.
My father is now living happily at one of the recommended places.

My brother and I had no idea where to begin with placing our dad in memory care. A Pace for Mom gave advice and comfort in a very scary situation. We placed our dad in four days with their help.

I flew from out of state when mom had a stroke, and before I even saw her I contacted A Place for Mom and got them going on a search. We had appointments booked in hours, and a place selected in days. Their online tracking tool helped me keep everything straight. Wonderful service, and we were very well cared for!

We were given only 2 days to find a new place for my husband. Chris provided us 5 to 7 places with scheduled tours at 3. He ranked them and provided maps to the site. After visiting about 5 of the facilities, we selected the first.
