From the moment I asked for help within an hour I received no less than 12 calls repeatedly trying contact me from homes that did not meet the criteria I had specified. Then trying to contact two of the homes multiple times to arrange a visit but no return calls. The result was deciding from the three homes who were responsive. It just seemed like the only thing A place for Mom did was call everyone or send an email blast to everyone in the geographic area to have me contacted. And it just seemed like the ones that did contact me were desperately looking for new people to feel rooms.

I did not expect any help st all because of our limited budget - I was wrong! It was such a nice surprise - they got the job done for us and even placed my mom despite our budget! I am thrilled with the service.

Sarah went above and beyond the services and really worked hard to understand my goals. Sarah was the intervention on my behalf. I couldn't have got through this without her graciousness and encouragement.

I thought Amber from A Place for Mom was helpful and directed me to other information having to do with caring for seniors with memory care, beyond information about facilities with openings in my area. I feel like I'm now better informed about how to move forward with the process since we've made our decision on a facility, in ways like how to help my mom deal with the move and get settled into her new location, also on how to continue to be a support to my dad as he now will live at home by himself. These have been some really hard decisions to make, but I feel more confident now moving forward due to A Place for Mom listening and helping us figure out how to make the best choice for my mom.

We were given appropriate contacts which were helpful in locating an assisted living facility. Our senior living adviser was efficient and helpful. Note:This statement is on all emails from our senior living advisor: "Our service is at no cost to your family as we are paid by our participating communities and providers". Our $3,500 deposit paid the invoice for A Place for Mom. After less than 3 months the assisted living facility told us we required more care than they could provide. We cannot get the deposit back. So essentially we paid the fee, not the provider.

I highly recommend this service if you are looking at assisted living locations for your family member! I was contacted immediately once I registered on the site. The representative was patient and educated me on how to best serve my mother. I received follow up calls, assistance with site tours and educational materials.

I've seen commercials for A Place for Mom for years, beginning with Joan Lunden. They made things so much easier! Our consultant, Dawn, was easy to talk to and helped so much. It made this transition so much easier because we didn't know what was available in our area. With a Place for Mom, we didn't need to know that at all! The gave us many options and we chose the places we wanted to visit! They called within ten minutes of entering our information into the computer! I would recommend A Place for Mom to anyone looking for help with assisted living or nursing homes.

I was looking for an independent living facility and I was in a bit of a hurry. A Place for Mom contacted numerous places that reached out to me right away. I was able to schedule visits to several places immediately and in four days I selected a place that is a great fit. I highly recommend them! A painless way to make a big move!

As soon as A Place for Mom assigned my care coordinator Natalie i knew i was in good hands. She was empathetic and understanding of how i was feeling. Eventually i was going to have to put my husband in a facility due to his dementia. She helped me find several places in the area i was going to be living that met my budget. She arranged for me to visit them or hooked me up with someone at the facility to schedule a tour. She checked in with me frequently and when i made the decision she helped ease my guilt and stress by sharing with me stories and of other people who have been through the same. She told me that he would eventually thrive there because he would get the attention he needed 24/7. And she was right. I am working full time and not able to give him the attention he needed. I realized he was spending alot of time in front of the tv and not being stimulated. Here i am 6 weeks out and he's doing very well in the place i chose.

Everyone was helpful. They were every bit interested as we were in finding a place. We were just a phone call away. They were very informative about the process and programs available to us. Pleasant to work with. If you're looking for elderly health care services talk to them.

I was very impressed with the help I received. Family didn't really know where to start and a place for mom helped to make those difficult decisions.
