I opted for Anyvan as they could guarantee my furniture would be delivered the next day before visitors arrived. I did not realise but I was charged for opting for a morning delivery.
Half an hour before the mid day cut off, I received a call to say they couldn t keep you the schedule and asked if I wanted to cancel my booking or should they try to get a van for a before 4 pm delivery.
They had taken my booking despite not having the facility to guarantee it. As it was my furniture arrived in an unmarked van. Anyvan had farmed the work out to a small independent who got to the furniture shop ten minutes before it closed.
An expensive service that was not fulfilled. Never again.
Disgraceful company, left me in the lurch by failing to provide a van/driver for a booking made several weeks in advance, and only admitting this the day of my move.
Nothing but apologies frim a company which clearly does not understand that these are unsatisfactory in their line of work.
I used a transport provider through AnyVan for my relocation move, which turned out to be an easy and financially prudent decision as the transport provider I used was excellent. I could have chosen from several potential providers who quoted for my business, and all would have represented excellent value compared to the large companies who offer house moves.
Great removal service, list the items or add later before 48 hrs gives you price straight away so i knew my outgoings straight away. Guys were helpfull and did everything asked of them. Good service especially since i am disabled. Call them, you wont be sorry.
They took a booking for a job they could never had fulfilled.
I am not a car expert. When I requested the job I told them that I had a non-operational hybrid car (due to water damage/flooding).
As the car's electrical system was fried, the electric brake could not be released. There was a manual overide, but it only worked for the front wheels.
After being unable to load the car I spoke to a number of other garages and they knew this would be an issue immediately.
Same applied to the driver of the pick up truck driver who knew that we would not be able to overide the electric brakes.
Any Van have refused any compensation or refund, despite the service not being started or completed. Which is frustrating as it seems anyone with any car knowledge would have known that the job was never possible.
Anyvan sub-contract out there work, they caused £1500 damage to my motorbike, and when i approached anyvan about this, they washed there hands of it, and said take the driver to the small claims court, but they refused to give me his address, so its impossible... avoid there people
Charged £63 to pick up a bed, except, they didn't pick it up, and they just kept the money. I don't even think I need to explain in detail judging by all the impressive one star reviews they have accumulated. They need shutting down. Which will happen soon. Idiots

The worst possible service ever. I booked two weeks in advance and the very last day I get informed that they can't find a driver.
They did not even inform me and I had to contact them myself that is the driver coming or not.
Customer services agent told me to find an alternate as the services cannot be carried out today.
I asked them that why wasn't I informed in advance and simple reply was sorry.
They make a claim that they get 5,000 bookings per week and so they were not able to allocate me service. My booking was made on 22-06-2021 for 04-07-2021. I visited their website on 04-07-2021 and they sated "we have slots available". When taking payments, they never have issues. If you talk to their agents, "Sorry for the inconvenience, please look for alternates".

The Van and Driver arrived bang on time and did the pick up with no problem at all. I must admit to being a little worried as it was my prized classic motorcycle that was being transported, but he vlearly knew what he was doing, took good care of the bike and delivered it in spot on fashion. Excellent!
Ronnie and the other guy that I'm afraid name I did not catch were brilliant. We had to move quite heavy and bulky items and they did move them in no time. I would definitely use them again. Bellow some advice for when U book them.
- state that if U move into 2 floor house some of the items are going to the 2nd floor. I forgot that and the guys obviously did not take them upstairs. Totally understandable as some people would just take advantage and "forget" to mention that to get a cheaper quote
- don't be a pikey, book at least 2 guys for moving. They will move Your stuff 3 times faster then You and just one guy especially around hard places like corners, low ceilings etc.
As I've mentioned at the beginning I have to highly recommend the guys as they saved me tons of time and trouble

Booked van and two men to move some large, heavy furniture. The turned up and complained they didn't have access to one of the cupboards, completely ignoring the fact that access was hampered by two of the items they were moving. We agreed that the cabinet had not been emptied, but even when it was they complained. Stood around for 45 mins, then contacted their office to complain that the job couldn't be done and left. They didn't even have the means to move some of the furniture. My husband bought a wheeled trolley thing which was really useful, not sure have these men would have moved any of our furniture without one. I would not recommend using this company, unhelpful and a total waste of £75.
This was the first time I have used AnyVan. I needed heavy items of furniture collected and delivered to me, 170 miles away. Everyone was polite, courteous and helpful in the extreme. Everything went according to plan, in spite of the snow. The furniture arrived in style - and in perfect condition. Communication was outstanding. I could not have wished for a better service. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Cancelled same day as collection and delivery due, no compensation. Had paid extra for a specific day and had no good reason other than our delivery had been dependent on other deliveries which had not come off. Didnt even call back when they said they would so we ended up chasing them on supposed day of delivery. This company is an absolute joke.
The best customer service and very helpful guys. Even helped me to plug my wash machine! Very good. I was very happy with their service also very easy to book and you can manage your booking online which was really great as I added some stuff into the list after the initial booking.
Booked 3 bed house move. They turned up in a medium wheel based van x2. Trapsed mud through house. No protection for carpets. Gouged the walls and ceiling moving furniture. Dragged my mattress through the mud they trailed in. Only took half of the contents. Made me pay more to move some more items and threatened to unload the vans and not move my belongings. Items went missing on the day which, including a brand new expensive padlock which I left by the door to take to the storage unit. Parts of furniture left behind. Crucial screws were found in random rooms of house for rebuilding furniture. They had no tools for dismantling and rebuilding furniture. They were verbally aggressive. Damaged my property. I then had to hire a proper van (luton) to move the other half of my 3 bed house with help of my friend that evening. I was lucky to get to van hire place before they shut. Please AVOID. I will never use them again.
I was not sure how to organise collection of an item from an ebay seller to then be delivered to my daughter. I was helped all the way through the process and everything went very smoothly. A great company.
