My arrangement with the company was that they would deliver my stuff by 16.57 on the 14th of June. However, I kept calling the driver on the day and he was always telling me that he had been assigned more and more jobs and that he would be more and more late. I called customer service and explained to them that I am flying at 3am the next day and wont be in the UK for another 2 weeks, so I need my stuff delivered by 6.30pm because I need to sort out the rest of my business before I leave. Initially they said they would definitely meet this deadline, however when the time came they said they could only deliver it the next day. This is after me making them aware that I won't be there the next day and for another 2 weeks. When I asked them if they could store my stuff somewhere for two weeks until I get back, they said that's not possible. Only after I told them I would be looking into my legal options did they agree to make a compromise.
I don't know about you, but this sounds to me like they were never intending to deliver my stuff, hence why I initially wanted to write that they tried to steal my stuff. It is essential to make people aware that this business is fraudulent so that they don't fall into the same trap that I did.
I received excellent attention and service from the moment I picked up the phone and called Anyvan, up to and including the final delivery. Couldn't have asked for more!

Paid the deposit via credit card Why do van drivers lie about time and day then say pick up is to big have waited over a week booked for again today. Paid extra for time then get call can't get a driver untill 6 hours later? Any more of this and it will be last time I will use them! Rebooked with another company who broke one wardrobe I paid with a credit card so out of pocket so any van I should be refunded the deposit because LPL00 did not do the job & at least some compensation because Av 490 4505. Paid in full. £123 on credit card don't think the companies used can cope with the jobs allocated because both said the had to get to another job left me with broke wardrobe? Pus they broke my gate. They got the whole wardrobe down the stairs so how did they break it? When bookingyou should not be told I have very important job so can't come to you and he was 3 mins from me as said LPLOO a dab 909 4505 said they are late so booking times

Disaster from start to finish. Given 8-9am slot they turned up at 11.30 am. The van was far too small and they took until 4pm trying to get everything in. They failed 2 large mirrors and a TV had to be left in a neighbours garage. The two guys pointed out that they had broken the glass in my nans display cabinet. I thought that's ok as they state fully insured. The van left Ramsgate at 4.pm. It was such an old wreck (see pic) it didn't even have a proper roof! They finally turned up in Worthing at 7.30pm. The promosed room to room service went out the window, our belongings were just dumped in the house and finall at 9pm we were in. After quite a fight they have now delivered our belongings that were left behind in the neighbours garage, However they have refused to pay for the repair of my glass cabinet because I don't have a before picture! The fact that the men admitted breaking it doesn't seem to count for anything. We have been treated unbelievably and they get away with it cos what can you do on moving day. Don't be fooled by the on line image, from what I can make out they just sub everything out and then that person subs it out again. Hence the rubbish service.
On placing the order and specifying a day of collection I wasn't filled with confidence. All the contact emails look good but don't mean anything as they are not correct for the driver. They are some company running sub standard drivers around in hired vans and don't work for Anyvan. The email come through saying a collection would be made between 8 and 6,5:30 come and no contact from anyone. I called to be told the driver was stuck and could collect at either 11pm or you can cance or reschedule for the next day. Rescheduled and then they collected the following morning at 10:00am, the driver took everything to the van and loaded up. Later that day the where the goods had been collected from the person went outside their house and found one of the bags left by the side of his car and not loaded up at all.
On calling anyvan the customer service that took 45 minutes to get through to said the driver had loaded ever hung in the van and basically called us a liar and said we never gave the bag to them. The customer service rep said the driver said he picked up 6 bags and loaded them, why then did only 5 get delivered! Don't use this company at all they are cowboys!
My Mrs went online & up popped Anyvan.com read the reviews all 5 star so contacted by phone spoke to advisor & everything was sorted for our moving day ( so we thought)
When speaking to the advisor he sent out 30 boxes which he said would be refunded after the move
On the day of the move we were all boxed & ready to go, the back of 9 two lads turned up with a van that was no way big enough for a move of this magnitude ( hence the title)
I confronted them & in broken English they said there was another van coming!
On that note I let them commence with the move
As they went round the house they were taking photos of our furniture etc & the next thing I know is they can't take certain items because they were not in the infantry ie 1.kitchen table because it was marble 2.kingsize bed with tv because it was heavier than a normal bed 3.garden furniture because it had table & chairs
4.boxes that we bought that hung suits & dresses
The infantry did not point out that there were requirements for the size of a bed nor did it say they couldn't take a table because it was marble (which by the way it wasn't marble) nor did it specify that it could only take certain garden furniture or certain size of boxes
On that point I phoned the company up & spoke to someone in America who was no help whatsoever & we basically had to pay a extra £500 on top of what we were quoted
The two guys certainly understood English when there was more money involved
By the time they loaded up the van they're was no sign of the other van which they said was coming so basically I had to move stuff myself cos they're were people waiting to move into my place
Totally disgusted by the way we were treated from start to finish it took them 3 trips to move our house & like I said I move a lot of the items myself luckily the move was a half a mile away
Other things the guys didn't do was dismantle the beds & re-erected them which was stated by the advisor@ point of agreement plus they just dumped boxes on 1st floor of a 3 storey home all in all a shambles of a move which was meant to be a stressfree move
Driver was very helpful. Took a lot of stress out of moving houses. Definitely good value for money.
Promised a luton. Promised to do ALL the lifting. Promised to be there between 12pm and 2pm. Promised to disassemble and assemble furniture. Any promises kept? NONE came in a transit van with all furniture stuffed in and scratched after doing the light inventory while me and my brother in law done all the heavy work after disassembling ourselves. Would not take furniture up stairs in a house because they said it is not a ground floor? Damaged walls and door ramming the furniture that they could carry in. Basically sub contracted the job out to a couple of skinny looking junkies from east end of Glasgow complaining that they only get 40 pound each for the job and called my wife out as a liar when she demanded them to fulfil their promises which they stated. After getting their useless asses out our new damaged house phoned the company anyvan 6 times to complain each time being hung up on. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AT ANY LENGTH NO MATTER WHAT THEY PROMISE
Useless. Charged over 300 for a removal. Items damaged by unprofessional and uncaring people. Coffee table parts missing and damaged. Brand new bed ripped. Drier... cable partly ripped out and left dangerous. When I discovered it I'd already tried to use. Live and nuteral wires touching and shorted out my sockets. I complained only to be told they don't know how long it will take for me to have issues resolved. Pathetic.
Just to add they go on the side of the driver, who obviously deny any damage. I sent photos to prove, as requested, then they told me they also wanted photos prior to the move. I provided this knowing that the metadata can be used as with insurance companies, they claim it cannot be accessed except for on the original device. Total Bull. I have computer certifications. The driver "crashed the van" I have a witness. They will not accept a witness statement to a "crash" DEMAND CCTV! What a croc of chit. Anything to get out of paying for damage and/or loss of goods.
I will continue to review this company on as many review sites as possible. They ruin my items I will ruin their business.
