Booked a date to pick up a fridge, they got the date wrong and rang me a day early to sat we are ready to pick up your fridge,I said it's tomorrow,I know I put the date in correctly because I am not an idiot,they made a new date and charged me 50 percent of the previous price on top so basically I was ripped off and charged 110 pound to pick up and delivery a fukicng freezer that is 5 minutes away from the delivery address, these guys are robbing bastadrs
Booked way in advance and was told I could easily change my booking online up to 48 hours in advance. A few days before the move, I tried to change the number of boxes on my booking but the website said I wasn't allowed to change anything (even though it was much earlier than 48 hours in advance). I had an absolute nightmare trying to speak to customer services about it. Tried the live chat but people kept closing the chat on me as they couldn't help. I sent an e-mail that was never responded to. I phoned up and was passed around from employee to employee, put on hold, passed around again, on it went... Eventually someone told me the price would be DOUBLE for the new order (bear in mind, I wanted to change it to around 10 FEWER boxes than before). I obviously refused to pay this, though I was stuck needing to move in a few days. After me explaining the situation over again for the hundredth time, the customer service employee said they would phone the driver and then phone me back. He then told me the driver had agreed a 'special price' of £200 more than I originally paid. I paid it because I was desperate, but really I feel cheated. Why should the price increase by *any* amount when it included less boxes than originally estimated? Please avoid this company - their customer service is awful and they will cheat you out of more money if you want to change anything on your order.
I have used Anyvan several times over the last few years believing, according to their advertising, that their service is paid for buy the van company. This is not true! My daughter has just booked a house move and the service she received was excellent. However, she discovered that the price quoted of £270 was not the price submitted by the van company. They in fact charged £180 (which was the price they submitted to Anyvan) and the £90 deposit requested by Anyvan was infact their commission. The van compant itself was unaware of this. A commission rate of 33% is outrageous and should be made public knowledge. The whole pricing system contradicts Anyvans terms and conditions and the OFT regulations. This lack of transparency denies customers the right to decide whether the service is good value. Charging an extra 50% on top of the original quote is just a disgusting money grabbing scam. The van movers worked so hard and efficiently they far more deserved that £90 than Anyvan. They offer nothing in terms of security, they are just a very very expensive middle man.
I needed a couple of boxes returned back to Amazon I had never returned anything to them before so they sent me a link with couriers to use I tried Hermes who delivered the boxes but it was a bit of a faf as I needed the boxes picked up from my home address they wanted them taken to the nearest post office but they are very large boxes and weighed 30kg each so I called anyvan one phone call and everything was sorted they picked up the boxes and kept me updated till they were delivered to Amazon Dunfermline after the bad snow. What a great service I will recommend them to anyone in need of a delivery service.

Communication with company and the driver was very good. Both with the seller and the buyer,. Arrived when they said and picked up when they said, despite the weather.
I booked with anyvan due to excellent reviews on trustpilot. Received 2 calls before they booked date to say the driver would be with me around 1400 with a call beforehand with a definite ETA.
On the day I receive a text from the driver at 14.01 to say he has been delayed and would be with me between 16.30-17.00 and would call with an ETA nearer the time. At 16.35 I had not heard from the driver so text to ask when I could expect him to which I got a reply saying he would be at least 1hr 30 more (in a location at least 30 minutes away from my address) but was near my address the following day if that worked for me?
I had booked for a pickup between 08.00-18.00 on my one day off between working day shifts and nights shifts and so the following day was not going to be acceptable.
I was incredibly disappointed with this service and called customer services to see how they were going to deal with this situation. The gentleman who took the call was very pleasant and tried to contact the driver however had no response. I was told I would be called back shortly once they had contacted the driver and he would discuss with his manager regarding what they could do about the inconvenience caused.
I did not hear back shortly from them and had to get back in contact with them. I was told the driver would contact me shortly with a time he would be arriving. I received a short text that said I will be with you this evening, no time frame given.
Customer services offered to refund me £15 for the inconvenience.
I am very disappointed with the service provided and would not recommend this company.
Let me down at the last minute. Never again. Complete bunch of cowboys. Not in the least interested in helping the customer. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Saying that the packaging material was also included, when in fact I found myself having to buy scotch, last cartons!
But it was only that! Unprofessional staff who asked me for 300 more to bring more things. They ruined some chests of drawers, small doors and lost me a piece of the table where it could be extended and also they did not assemble the kitchen saying that they did not they managed to the last!
But the worst thing to have waited for them for almost 15 days without all my things, a great discomfort!
I had nothing at home, nothing at all! Without warning!
I had to call the relocator, losing my day of vacation that I had now established! I also complained to Anyan and their response was that after the contractual part they no longer have anything to do with it! And the absolute shame is that the carrier has never sent me the receipt EVER! Therefore keeping also the part of VAT and there is no mention of peanuts! A real disaster!
First they turn up 2 hours before agreed time
They are then exremely rude and that is what the manager of the shop said

The manager refuses to give a refund
The drivers then drive off without taking the goods or telling me

Move booked for over 3 weeks. Delivery van allocated and scheduled to arrive between 3:19pm and 6:19pm.
Around 6pm the customer service calls: "The van is having some delays, we should probably reallocate to a different van to guarantee delivery on the day". And again: "We will get a van to you by 9pm, you will get a message soon"
Time passes. No updated tracking, no further news, nothing.
I reach out to them around 8:15pm: "Sorry but we are not getting a van to you today" - not ok, but what do you propose - "We can place a new tentative order for tomorrow, but we can't guarantee that a van will be allocated and we will do absolutely nothing to place a higher priority on the job because we are useless and a complete scam" - it took me a while to realise it was not some silly joke
Lesson learned: not a company to be trusted and definitely not for something like a time-critical move - whoever is reading this, it'll save you a lot of time not to make my same mistake. Just use anyone else but them
Anyvan, I see a lot of bad experiances people have had on anyvan, it is not the company itself, its that there are a lot of cowboys signed up to the site who don't have the proper insurance cover in place barely speak English and havnt a clue what they are doing,
Anyvan gives companys a GOLD BADGE which can be found in the right hand corner of a transport providers profile, this shows that the company has submitted there insurance documents and relivent licences ect. My advice is that they might not be the cheapest but they are more than likely to be professional and give you the piece of mind that your items are covered by the relevant insurance
This Courier LIAM was 4hours late... He soiled and destroyed a sofa I was returning to Laura Ashley and when I asked him what I was going to do as they would no longer refund me with a soiled Sofa... he simply got in his van and drove off leaving me with a sofa in the middle of the road... as I have a hernia and am a middle aged grandmother I couldn't move it.
LATE, INCOMPETENT and MENTALLY ill courier... I don't think I'll be using this company again.
This company is shocking, I have just left my husband due to domestic abuse and was given a safe house from the council, I paid anyvan £329 and they sent out 2 Romanian guys on the day, they said they couldn't do the work due to an allergy to dogs hairs, so anyvan sent out 3 Russian guys as and they told me the job was too big for them and they needed petrol! And they left too. I called anyvan and they told me that it was due to the state of my furniture and I wasn't going to get a refund! Now my furniture might be old but it is not dangerous, surely if you pay for a job to be done and it doesn't get done, you will be refunded! I had to borrow that money in the first place, and then had to borrow another £400 to get the job done by 2 local lads, with no complaints. DO NOT GO CHEAP PEOPLE YOU MIGHT LOSE IT ALTOGETHER, THEY MIGHT STEAL YOUR MONEY TOO! Guess I will have to take it to the small claims, appointment next week with the citizens advice bureau. BEWARE
