Simply the best, ever and ever. Not words forI Love Thiis One. Animoto is a web application that produces videos from user-selected photos, video clips and music. It analyzes the provided photos, video clips and music, automatically generating a movie trailer-like video with them.
I spent hours scanning and then cropping and resizing pictures to meet there parameters. Uploaded the pictures and started to structure the presentation, paid for the upgrade to remove the water marks and exited the site. Logged in the next day to find none of the changes there and the water marks still there BUT the charge for the upgrade went through. No way to correspond with them! My bad learned a lesson. "Stay Away"
I have a free trail with Animoto that I didn't even realize I had until they charged my account $180.00 and issued a partial refund of $150.00. After a week of going back and forth with Animoto customer service, I still have not received the full refund. The customer service is terrible, the worst I've dealt with. I've had to repeat myself 4 times now and tell them each time to carefully re-read my past emails. I have provided customer service with my account, email addresses, transaction numbers, the day of charges and even screenshot attachments of the charges and they can't even find my account. Talk about a frustrating experience. I just want my money back. NEVER SIGN UP FOR A FREE TRIAL WITH THIS COMPANY!
I WAS EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. I WAS UNABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY CREATE ONE VIDEO AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS BECAUSE THE SOFTWARE KEPT DELETING OR REORGANIZING MY ADDED PICTURES.
Also, very unhappy with the billing because they stated a monthly fee, but I was charged an annual fee instead. I was given a partial refund after complaining.
Love this site! So easy to use and the videos that it creates are top notch. I would definitely recommend this to any user trying to create a product demo video or a slideshow.
Really great for making videos of the kids and family. I can upload random photos and it makes it look like it was professionally made, though i wish they had more templates
Auto-renewed and charged my credit card without my consent. Very dodgy way of doing business. Product is very ordinary and boring (for lack of better word).
I rarely need more than 30 seconds for the videos I create so the free version is perfect. When i need a full length then it is just 3 bucks. Videos are so easy to create!
I gave autorisation to debit my Paypal account USD 10 each month.
However they have debited upfront the full annual amount of USD 120. They do not anwser to complaints.
I'm an amateur and not a professional photographer. I signed up for the "free" one month trial. You basically get nothing "free" with these people! To get a decent video for my granddaughter's 10th birthday, I would have had to shell out $30. Really? Seriously? $30 for one video? I said no thank you and scraped the project. I kept getting "incentive" emails to continue which I ignored. No such thing as "free" with this company unless you want to do an inferior video which I would be embarrassed to give to anyone!
In Sept 2014, my daughter signed up for a one year subscription. In April, she signed up for a 1 month upgrade to try out. When she didn't renew her upgrade ($30 extra per month), they degraded her back to their "new" basic plan which gives you nothing. She asked them why she didn't have the plan she signed up for and their response was it wasn't offered any longer. They haggled back and forth for 2 weeks, Animoto gave in and gave her back her original plan MINUS the ability to upgrade from 360P to a higher quality picture. You have to pay an additional $5-$10 per song. Talk about $$$ you to death! One way or another, they are determined to get more money out of you!
Make sure to turn off auto renewal. You purchase a certain plan and they automatically put it on auto bill...
Scam- Will charge your account and not reimburse you even if you dont use it. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!
I love this site, i had my first video being nicely created using it, you guys deserved my respect!
