Initially we had a problem with our reservation. When we booked, the site said that we could cancel anytime before February. Chatting with their support was like talking to a brick wall. Only once I got on the phone with someone did they take care of me the way I expected. I only gave them four stars because of the hassle in getting things figured out. But talking to the right person at Amoma got things resolved very quickly, with a great outcome.

I made a reservation through amoma for the grand pasha hotel in Kyrenia. However, after paying the money, I noticed that amoma received more than 170 TL from me. No matter how much I corresponded, they didn't care. Never shop from this site. They don't care about any customers after they get the Money. VERY BAD Rezervation number: 57479465

I had difficulty in accessing the hotel from Feltham Station, as major road works were in progress. After a mile and a half detour I managed to find the alarming ten-storey building with a most inconvenient entrance. The first thing I looked at was the list of fire instructions!
Although I had booked in on-line, there was still a hold-up at reception and I had to fill in my details on a form.
Good job the lifts were working, as I was allocated a room on the 10th floor! It was very small, but clean and adequate for an overnight stay, with comfortable desk chair and (amazing!) air conditioning which actually worked. Unfortunately it looked out on to the noisy railway line.
The Tv was the size of a postage stamp, but the bathroom was of a reasonable size, although it appeared impossible to control the temperature of the water in the shower!
The bed was not particularly comfortable & the breakfast was spoilt by coachloads of people feeding their faces with piled-up platefuls which they were unable to finish. The greed had to be seen to be believed!
The check-out was polite and efficient.
I would not wish to return to this particular hotel (ie the St Giles, Feltham)

If you call customer service - good luck! I called 3 times and was on hold for over 40 minutes each time and then just hung up. The 4th time I decided to press option 1 to get someone to book a new trip they answered in 5 minutes! Hmmm if you have booked already and have questions no answer

Small bedroom with no wardrobe only open hanging space. Seemed expensive at £372 for 2 nights, ' room only stay.' + car parking but bed and bathroom accommodation were fine
Second night a lot of noise from a room across the car park. Had to close the windows on a hot night in order to sleep. Noise still going on at 4am.
Staff very friendly.
Breakfast at £7 pp very good value.
First time in 50 years I have had to pay for a private hotel car park.

I do not think we will stay here again and we will not recommend it to friends

We just booked our vacation in the Dominican Republic and every site had a $150 dollar resort credit and this was the only site that didn't offer that. We assumed it would be included since every other site we checked had that but we when went to our hotel we were disappointed that for some reason it wasn't included in the price we paid for our stay. My advice is check to see what you are getting before you book your trip. They don't have a very flexible cancellation policy. I think even if you cancel immediately they want to charge you a percentage of your trip.

Although hotel spotless and staff very helpful our room overlooked the Wetherspoon outside area and the noise from here was very loud. This shut at 11.00pm but you then got staff cleaning it until around 1.00am. We found the room very hot as no fan or air-conditioning which we feel needed as no way could you have window open.

Booked with Amoma in August for a hotel in Barcelona in May of 2018.
Afterwards heared many scary messages, so I have checked with hotel & my booking is there & paid. So no worries.
All other travel companies want 1,000 euro's for same room. Amoma got it me for 159.
Beat that Booking.Com
1000% legitimate.

Tout le personnel est vraiment accueillant, agréable et bienveillant. La chambre pour 3 (2 adultes et 1 enfant) était plutôt grande, mais niveau déco pas top. J'ai trouvé la chambre assez humide. En effet lorsque que l'on entrait dans la chambre on sentait bien dans l'atmosphère une certaine humidité. Le lieu est assez calme avec très peu de bruit. Le petit déjeuné est très bien avec assez de choix, toutefois l'omelette aux persils et un peu trop poivrée ce n'est pas de mon goût mais dans l'ensemble c'était assez satisfaisant.

Nice comfortable hotel but not for british as far as entertainment goes (very Spanish singing and jokes)
Food was good but dont expect a full English for breakfast! The hotel does not recognize airport transfers (no pick up time lists) and receptionists did not understand when i asked about this but it was no issue as the free wi fi enabled me to confirm my transfer online 24 hours before checking out.
Overall a comfortable stay and not too far from the center etc

The Inverness hotel is looking a little tired and dated. The heating was on full blast, you needed an iron grip to turn the radiator off and the window was painted shut. Cleanish, small single room but adequate for a short stay. The town centre location meant it was very noisy until 4am on Saturday, so I didn't get much sleep, though that is not the hotel's fault.

I originally wrote a very bad review for Amoma since I thought there were fraudulent charges on my card after booking with them (what I thought were fraudulent charges were actually authorized). I'm still only rating them as average because the process of trying to book a hotel with them was very time-consuming and confusing: I tried to book a hotel on their site only to receive an email saying that I need to call customer service because something went wrong with the booking. I call customer service and had to be transferred to their reservations department (even though I entered that information from the beginning and was put on hold again), and they tell me that the hotel room is still available but for $100 more. I agree to pay the additional cost only to later find out that the room is actually not available anymore (since it was the last room left). I was feeling frustrated and stressed out after all of this and maybe none of this would have happened if I wasn't trying to book the last room.

Be extremely careful when booking with Amoma. As stated in terms and conditions they do not guarantee any extra services provided directly by the hotel. We were supposed to stay in a hotel with pool facilities and it was under renovation with significant noise levels.

The rate on Amoma only guarantees the room and meals if selected.

Their T&C basically state that Amoma is not responsible for any information provided on their website: a) The information, software, products and services that are published, displayed or used on this website may include inaccuracies or typographical errors and AMOMA.com and its suppliers will not, therefore, be liable for any inaccuracies displayed on the website relating to, amongst other things, the following:
-hotel photographs;
-hotel property;
-product descriptions; or
-lists of hotel amenities displayed on the website.

After writing the above review I have been contacted by Amoma and offerred a full refund for the hotel, so in the end they have offered acceptable customer service.

Lovely entrance and downstairs. Rooms clean, basic. Notice to say "no paper in the toilet!" Not sure why this was and nothing explained at reception when checking in.

Waiting time at reception two hours. Taxi cannot drop up to hotel after 10 am to 8pm location very good. Swiming pool only for children. It is four star only fridge in room is very small. No iron provided staf is cooperative dont use hotel puck and drop very expensive.

The mood lighting was fine, but it turned out that the dark gloominess was the only option. Some well positioned up lighters would lift the permanent noir effect and have allowed my wife to see her make up and me my emails without have to squint under a low energy bulb - two of which were blown and failed to be changed during our stay.

2 days the breakfast was very good, 2 days it was very poor, as the fresh fruit offering of sweet pineapple was replaced by cut up apples that had failed to find a taker in their previous incarnation of sitting in the fruit bowl.

There is a distinct feel that the attention to detail is limited to the superficial trimmings, whereas a decorator spending a couple of days touching up the paint work would at least give a sense that someone understood and cared about the hotel beyond the superficial. The staff were generally very nice but clearly disempowered by weak and amerturish management.

Position is great, but if only...

The hotel itself is lovely but the room I stayed in was old and tired. It was grubby in need of a good clean and an update. The shower head was covered in pink mould and the silicone around the bath was full of black mould. The light switches and the remote control were really dirty.

I travel al lot and wanted to try a new service provider and Amoma.com came up with the best price for my specific location. When I arrived at my destination, they didn't have a room available. So I finally got in touch with Customer Care and after a long while they contacted the hotel and I overheard the hotel say they responded to Amoma.com when the reservation was requested they didn't have room. Basically they didn't, but they did give me a room - Amoma.com said it was ok as they had 'guaranteed' a ROH room and that is what I received. After complaining, Amoma.com send a small stipend - 10% - so I am appreciative of their willingness to admit they - their supplier - might have messed-up.
