I had ordered in the past from American blinds, Bali and Levelor brands, and was please with my purchase. This time I ordered the american blind name and I was slightly disappointed. Although the front looks okay when I looked at the back, the pleats were wrinkled. Since they were for a second floor office/guestroom I decided to keep them. I did notice that it got better after hanging for several weeks. Other than that, I am pleased with the look.
It's been a bit difficult trying to find a certain color I liked but it's not in the shade I wanted. When I ordered swatches, I was looking for a room darkening shade but then we decided to order a light filtering one instead.

I have ordered from American Blinds before and was pleased. I came back again, and once again, am pleasantly relieved with the product and service.
The screws that came with the blinds the heads strip very quickly. Don't know if they are wood screws or not but when I tried to screw them into the wooden window seal I got it in half way and the head would grip the screw driver. I went and got a drill bit to try and get through the wooden window seal first and I didn't think to get new screws so when I go back and get the screws I'll try and install the blinds again.
The online process was easy and convent.
The shade color compliments the room. All necessary hardware was included. This was a replacement shade for the one the kittens shredded five years ago. Delivery was earlier than expected.

Ordered 34x60 when needed 35 x 60. Called customer service but was told if I didn't like the color or there was a defect, they would be replaced. Since the error was mine there was nothing they could do.

Order was a bit slow to get here, but arrived fine. Directions included were HORRIBLE. Called customer service and after one incorrect video, they were able to find an installation video of the exact same shade. Once we knew what to do, install was not too difficult with two people. The magnetic closure is STRONG, no need to worry that it won't stay closed when you want it to! Price is too high, but product is great.
