Thanks for having a well put together web sales site. My large width aluminum blind was delivered at around 5 weeks. It was stiffer to pull down and adjust than I liked. Overall it is what I wanted.
The blind is perfect for my kitchen window. I had to call twice because I felt that the first rep was not providing accurate information about the color. I called back and spoke to someone who gave me a totally different answer. Thank goodness I listened to my gut.

Disappointed I couldn't use the coupon you sent me with the fabric samples. Also, the quality of the fabric shades wasn't as high as I thought it would be which is why I'm giving a 4 star rating.

That order was cancelled because manufacture would not make what I was able to order. Then representative sold me on clear view cellular shades. No chords visible- not true and they are 1.5" deeper than original specs. Extending out of the wood frame window- beautiful blinds if you want strings going down both sides of window and they can be recessed! I had to pay more too!

I paid for blinds 21/2 months ago. I still no idea when they will be here. Tracking shows Fed Ex has not received the product, only a label. Finally got through to a person, who admitted that the "American blinds" were order in China and they must still be on a boat. I have no idea when the will ever come. Maybe next year?
Ordered a large shipment of 13 blinds for a client. Blinds shipped from Korea thru DHL. First delivery of 3 blinds arrived "almost"on time. Remaining came in 4 separate shipments, the last more than a week later. Quality and price were fine (although one was incorrectly sized) but client was unhappy because they had to live without window treatments for so long. I decided to give them a second chance and ordered 4 "quick ship" blinds, due to ship 11/29 for delivery by 12/6. As of today, 12/5, they have not shipped. I will not use again.
Personally worked with a sales rep to place our second order from American Blinds. The sales person told me exactly how to measure the windows to ensure the correct measurements. When we finally received the window treatments, 5 in total, two of the were the incorrect size. When I called customer service, they said it was my fault for not correcting the sales persons mistake in 24 hours. Now after having the window treatments (first order was 8 items, second was 5 items) for several months, they are very poor quality. Overall, I wish I had ordered from another company.
These blinds are fine, particularly for in inset mount.but the less expensive ones, at least, end up looking rather messy on the top. The brackets remain visible even with the extra clips and slats provided. As an architect I find the double slat look clunky so reduced it to one, but still, it's not a very clean look. That said, for the price, they are fine. I'd work on that top detail, however.
Clear options for good, basic blinds
Measuring instructions were easy to follow, ordering was simple. They arrived in a very timely manner. The shipping was geared to protection of the blinds. Easy installation.

Blind arrived in good condition and appeared to be good quality. However, after installation, there is a problem either the blind closing properly. I contacted Customer Service and was sent an installation video which confirmed the blind had been installed as directed. I have yet to hear back from Customer Service as I was told they would contact the manufacturer. Will reach out to them again to hopefully resolve this issue.
