Not only did they deliver wrong perishable product and charge more than MRP but also customer care told me it's not their responsibility and they can't entertain my call and they disconnected call.
I have tried twice- the first time the delivery came nearly 4hours late and all frozen items had completely melted and had to be discarded. The second time, my items were again scheduled to come very late in the night. I cancelled the order and decided to just shop in store.
My wife needed some puff pastry dough for a recipe. She found it on Amazon fresh and she placed an order which included some other items.
When the delivery came there was a bag with two ice packs to keep the puff pastry dough cold, but no puff pastry, just the ice packs.
She contacted Amazon and after some back and forth they said they would deliver the puff pastry dough the next day at a scheduled time.
We received the delivery on time but it wasn't puff pastry, it was a box of Welches fruit snacks!
Seriously, don't even bother
Deliver driver scared to deliver to london ohio ******* or is pure lazy but customer service also sucks and didnt want to do a free order due to driver making them look unprofessional but i got the refund and the order but i had to do it myself
My wife and I have been using Amazon Fresh because there's a large Covid-19 outbreak in our area. We have been ordering several times a week in the past month or so. Wearing a mask is mandatory in our city. When we order we asked for no contact. On several occasions we have been given orders by people that are not wearing masks to protect us. We have complained about this, and we have continued to recieve orders from their employees who are not wearing masks. We are going to find other alternatives to recieve our online orders. I would not order from Amazon fresh if you are trying to avoid Covid-19. They do not enforce their employees to protect others from covid-19.
I ordered groceries and places the order to be delivered in the afternoon. After the window past that I was suppose to receive the groceries, I called and the rep explained the order had not been assigned to a driver and my only options were to cancel the order and reorder and continue to wait and hope that it gets assigned. They had already charged my card and even when they cancelled the order, they took a week to refund me back my money so I wasn't able reorder the same day and I still without any groceries and money because of Amazon. NEVER ORDER GROCERIES FROM AMAZON!
I ordered some groceries and a couple of items were missing and some of them were leaked. Excess packaging was found. I had to wait for about an hour to raise a complaint and then they asked me to wait for 3 days so they can carry out their so-called investigation. After that, I had to get back to them to get the update. Again a couple of their attendees skipped the chat and didn't leave any response about the so-called investigation. At last, after waiting for another hour, I get to know that they are ready to refund the amount. I mean, if someone has to go through so much to get their money back for the missing item is too much and many people wouldn't even wait for so long. That's some easy money for Amazon. I feel this is a scam for sure. Idk if People working at the head department of Amazon are aware of it or not, I believe that this is happening. This is what I felt about my Amazon Fresh order.
I am trying to place groceries order since last 3 days starting from 05th Nov till date and paying the bill amount through Amazon pay. But every time they are cancelling the order without any reason. While calling to customer service and writing mail to grievance cell they are only having one answer that we don't knw the reason and sorry for inconvenience. Such a harrasment from Amazon pay and Amazon fresh they both are doing fraud by stucking money in Amazon pay app neither u can use the money nor u can transfer the fund… big big fraudsters
Be aware that when ordering from amazon fresh, the delivery drivers do not follow instructions or can not read. I'm disabled and have complained many times to Amazon fresh that delivery drivers are not following delivery instructions. I have a trach that is a hole in my throat with tubbing that allows me to breath. When I bend down to pick up delivery items off floor I can not breath because my trach is closed off. I have put in instructions to put deliveries in 1 of 3 places on my porch: grey cart, black table or chair. After making numerous complaints to Amazon, I designed a big sign and had it printed to put beside my door. And still the driver today placed delivery on the floor right in front of the sign and blocking my door where I can not get my wheelchair out for doctor appointment in the morning. It took me 3hrs to clear and I felt like I was going to pass out and end up in hospital again.
I placed an order or 9 items before noon using the 5pm-7pm scheduled timeframe. At 7:30pm I received a notification that the order was delayed but still coming. A little before 8:30pm I checked and couldn't "find" my order! Really? Veggies and beer? Yeah okay. The courier contracted to deliver was Rabbit, whoever they are. I got my refund but I am totally disappointed and will never use Amazon Fresh regardless of the weather. This is my first and only impression. I personally wouldn't recommend using Amazon Fresh. Off to Ralph's I go… but seriously if you can avoid AF then you're probably going to save yourself some unnecessary disappointment.
I'm not a complainer. I let everything go but this I couldn't shake. 1st they gave me expired chicken broth didn't complain it's an accident. Meat was dripping blood into other packages of meat. I just threw it out. Second time they gave me moldy strawberries and I am highly allergic to mold. Still didn't complain. Same order My ice cream was melted and dripping. I couldn't complain about that because it hard to tell who's fault it was even though I met my driver down stairs to help them bring up the bags. 3rd times a charm though, my black berries were gooey and coming out of the carton didn't mind that much until I realized my cherries were all brown and damaged as if I was getting old food, to top it all off my meat was put in a bag with my fresh fruit and they were all touching not even individually wrapped all the way. They replaced my order for the next day from 10pm -11pm so I guess that helps…. I'm just over their poor service. Wish I had photos of everything.
I've been using Amazon Fresh for well over a year now. In the beginning it was rare that anything would be missing or substituted. In the case of missing items the typical response after calling them was to send them out immediately I would usually receive them the next day if not the same day. Now it's very common for my items to be missing that I've been charged for. And when I call customer service now they're standard responses to issue a refund which takes 5 to 7 business days. They have gotten my order wrong now five times in a row. Which has been corrected through refunds while I reorder the groceries that I'm missing after hanging up. Often times items out of that order goes missing. I no longer recommend Amazon Fresh you will regret using them because you're going to end up having to go out and get your missing items or place another order which may end up missing as well. I tip very well it's not required but I usually triple or quadruple the suggested tip. This is not what I expect for paying a premium price.
This is probably the 3rd time ordering Amazon Fresh groceries. The first order went perfectly fine. Packaged well, neatly at the foot of my door. The 2nd order, an issue where my 2 loaves of bread were beneath a bunch of bananas so you can imagine the physical state of the bread. Received a refund for the no-return bread so not too bad. Would've rather had the unharmed bread. I would not attribute this to Amazon Fresh directly, but the staff/individual packaging the items whose tip, I did not penalize. On my 3rd order, placed more than 24 hours ahead, at that point the earliest option for delivery was between 10pm and 12am the following day, weird, but no big deal... I stayed up, and waited, and waited. The order went from "delayed" right after messaging customer service at 11:50 pm, to cancelled at 2am. Of course, I was already asleep by then. Fine, cancel my order, but at least present an option for a credit instead of 5 days waiting for a refund.
Twice I waited hours for a food delivery that never came

I ordered food and spirits from Amazon on may 14th and was told they issued me a refund because no one was home and with spirits you need to be there. I was told I would have a refund in 5 to 7 business days. Then the 28th of May I still had not received my refund to my debt card or my ebt card. So I called again and was transferred back and forth just to be told they had to start and ticket and get over to someone else to look at. Here it is June 8th I called again still no refund and nothing has been done. I was told they see my ticket but nothing was done so they will make another ticket. I can't believe this is how Amazon handles customers and their money. When I paid for my products the money came off right away there is no way or reason I should not have my refund back by now. I'm disappointed and feel like I have been robbed.
I scheduled my order today between 10am and 12pm, at 11.30 the order was still being packed and no delivery details, at 2.15PM I got a notification that the order could not be tracked and would not be delivered. Customer Service agent issued a refund and I got the underlying tone that drivers were either not delivering items or, worse, stealing them. I won't be using again.
Ordered on here because I'm a senior citizen... didn't want to go out to the store with the Coronavirus spreading! My Whole Foods order was suppose to be delivered by 10pm Sun. Eve! It was NOT! I stayed up until midnite, waiting! No call, no text, no nothing! They didn't hesitate to take my $ out of my acct.! AND, I'm a Prime member! I'm pissed! If I get the virus, from having to go out to a crowded store I'm sueing them!
Wilted vegetables, smelly fish, two day old steak, deli scales always inoperable, empty shelves, disinterested staff, overpriced. Started with lots of glitz and hoopla and a free can of water and has rapidly gone downhill since. Whole Foods, Mariano's, Pete's Market, County Fair? Too many other options.

My third visit: None of Fresh flowers had prices, usually on the cellophane. Had to find a person, then had to tell him to scan it bc clearly he didn't know what to do. It's close to Easter week-end should have prices. Then some other food items no pricing. I don't have time for searching for prices. Then over to hot food, looked dried out. Then it was a production to get a answer as to whether the sign saying I get small soup free with sandwich. The actual deli person was like OH I don't know. Then when looking up at the board for the sandwich choices, it stops and moves to an advertisement. So I'm then suppose to go ready the actual sandwich labels. Loud loud music playing. I think you were trying to make it an event.
I will say the cashier young man was very friendly and did his job well.
Your prices are a little higher than most grocery stores. I think you need to train your customer service and the manager should be sure everything has prices. If I get a good coupon I'll be back but no not again.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: There's a real service called Amazon Fresh. And it can/could be very valuable especially for people already paying a yearly premium to receive faster shipping. BUT. With Amazon Fresh you can order plain bagels and receive the "everything on it" bagels. True story. 3 bags. I ate the cost instead of the bagels and there were other unwanted products in that order. Even that would be ok if you didn't have to waste 20 or 30 minutes trying to get to a human customer service rep. These robots who assure you they can understand anything and you can speak same as a human? NOT. Sorry not even close. At least for questions beyond the most basic level of language. It's a MAJOR flaw in my opinion and explains why reviews on Amazon Fresh are so low. Very poor biz model altho regular Amazon great! Very few errors ever and check before ordering if returnable and costs associated. Other than that I LOVE Amazon! About as much as I hate using Amazon Fresh.
Answer: Wow - dry ice is expensive. If Amazon Fresh used dry ice to keep cold/frozen foods cold for you then you were lucky! I've never had dry ice or frozen water bottles used to keep foods chilled. They typically use insulated white zip-close bags. Frozen gel packs, and absorbable rolls of padded paper on my orders.
Answer: - As you proceed to check out, you may go back at any time if you need to change your order (delete, add, etc.). - You can always go back before selecting a time slot. If you realize that you have made some colossal mistake, you can click cancel but I would recommend contacting support and asking for help. They will talk you through anything/everything. Just phone the regular Amazon number and ask to be transferred to the Fresh department. Or use online chat.

Answer: Convenience. But that has gone out the window. There is nothing convenient about choosing a delivery window, only for your order to be delayed for over 2 hours and then cancelled with no explanation, then having to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. Ridiculous - won't be using them ever again.
