This piece of sh*t company denied my claim for a computer purchase I made through QVC. I had also purchased this crap of a company's 3-year warranty plan. Now, they refuse to acknowledge the claim. STAY AWAY FROM THIS POS OF A COMPANY!

We joined Allstate in May 1 we have three cars registered my wife, myself and my daughter. We all downloaded the app on May 1 to begin utilizing the application to acquire the largest discount available when we renew in six months my wife's application took 14 days to start working on her phone, my wife works Monday to Friday drives to and from work. And the app does not calculate her trip to or from work. It captures her drive on Saturday to go to church and every now and then picks up the drive home but not always. You call drivewise technical support. And they tell you that they're very sorry but the app doesn't always work on everybody's phone so now my renewal is coming up in two months and we're showing that we're only gonna get a 9% savings on our renewal versus when we started, it showed a 20% savings the broker in Texas says it is what it is so I just wanna bring this to everybody's attention if you're using Allstate drive wise be very careful cause the odds are you're getting taken to the cleaners if you look at the photos attached, you'll see there's very little documentation on her Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday trips to and from work
And most of the documentation is for Saturday trip to church and back, but not always back so overall, they're missing approximately 120 trips on her record to help support us getting the maximum discount

Allstate agent John Luzzo purchased the agency from a previous agent. Since he has taken over the agency, he has increased the amount of the premium and cancelled a policy that I have had for over 30 years. Mr. Luzzo is not attempting to upsell me for a life insurance policy that I have had for 30 years. When I told him I was making a complaint to the Illinois Department of Insurance he said what do you think they will do about it. Avoid this POS.

Stay away from all state insurance

DON'T BUY A CAR INSURANCE POLICY! CANCEL IT IF YOU HAVE ONE. TELL PEOPLE ALSO. This is beyond dragging their feet. Torture! Incident happened 17 May 2024. It's now 29 August. 24 July they said they're still investigating. Whhaatt? No communication from them. You have to bug them if you want to hear back, if any. Even then they'll say the same thing - still investigating. Yet they collect payment on time. When it's pay out time, you're neglected. MOST UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. CANCEL AND MOVE YOUR POLICY SOMEWHERE ELSE. TELL PEOPLE NOT TO BUY ANY FROM THEM. YOU'LL REGRET BEING WITH THEM.

If offered Square Trade by Allstate in any purchase, for your own sanity decline. They do everything in their power to prevent you from filing a claim. They will say that your item had pre-existing conditions & nullify your warranty.

Down hill

30 year customer of Allstate, always had been good up until app. 1 year ago. Would recommend them to anyone before now probably not now. Received a bill in the mail had questions, called and was told I had the wrong numbers, that in a day they were taking out double the monthly premium and then accused me of making 19 changes in the month of June (i made none). Had a flood last July, their people came estimated, didn't do the work and found the dollar amount about $10,000 off what it really cost to repair the damages. Lately when you call they make you feel like your a criminal. 30 years going thru an expensive divorce and they cancel all the discounts as I ask the bill be mailed to my office. And when i was asked what I wanted and i said an apology, as I was called a liar yesterday and today you accuse me of 19 changes in the past 3 weeks when i made none, I was hung up on.

Don't waste your money. They only care about collecting premiums but will deny every claim whether legitimate or not. They make up some lie about why it was denied, even though they have zero evidence to back up their claim. COMPLETE SCAM

A Rip Off

Warning! Do not do business with Allstate they are a rip off. They insure drivers that should not be on the road and when one of them hits you they try and get away with paying you hardly nothing! They should be put out of business. My advice if you have a claim against this company get a Attorney!

They really need to update reviews to allow for 0 stars. Anyway, I was hit by a driver insured by Allstate and Amanda Standige won't do her job. She is the adjuster or claims representative—whatever they are called—on my bodily injury claim, and she just denied it. Now, I have a crash report with a witness listed who saw the accident happen and can confirm it was not my fault. It took Amanda Standige almost a week to even get in touch with her insured driver. Meanwhile, my insurance representative had obtained my statement and Amanda Standige's insured driver's statement before the week was up. My insurance denied liability on my behalf based on the statements and crash report. I finally got a hold of Amanda on Friday, 6 days after the crash, and she very rudely told me they were denying my claim due to a failure to yield on my part. How do I yield at a green light? Either way, I don't believe Amanda did her due diligence; she didn't contact the witness or bother to read the crash report where the reporting officer states that he believes that failure to yield while turning left was possibly the reason for the crash. If you are in an accident with someone who has Allstate, get yourself a lawyer as soon as possible.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service I received from Allstate following an auto accident involving one of their customers. The entire process has been an exercise in frustration, and I feel compelled to share my experience.
After the accident, I promptly reported the incident to Allstate, expecting a timely and efficient claims process. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but smooth. Here are the key issues I encountered:
Delayed Handling of Police Report: The Allstate representative assigned to my case initially claimed they needed 10 days to wait for the police report. On the 11th day, with no progress, I had to take the initiative, personally pay for the report, and send it to them.
Lack of Proactive Communication: Allstate failed to reach out to their own customer promptly to gather a statement, leaving me to intervene and facilitate the communication.
Unnecessary Burden on the Victim: I took charge of organizing Zoom calls, estimates, and communications with the repair shop. The burden placed on me, the victim, was excessive.
Poor Responsiveness: Attempts to contact my Allstate representative for rental car arrangements went unanswered for days. I was forced to escalate the matter to the corporate office just to get a response.
Heightened Stress and Anxiety: The overall lack of efficiency and responsiveness has caused an incredible amount of stress and anxiety. I expected a smooth claims process, but unfortunately, Allstate has made this situation far more distressing than it needed to be.
This experience has been nothing short of exhausting, and the burden placed on me as the claimant has been unfair. I had hoped for a more supportive and efficient process from a reputed insurance company like Allstate. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, and I am left deeply dissatisfied with the service I have received.

Stay away! Don't make the same mistake I did. He started off as a seemingly nice guy who gave me a good rate when I switched to Allstate for Milewise. It seemed to be the best plan for me since I work many hours from home, and I barely even have time to drive my car. In addition, I have a great driving record (no issues at all) and live in a safe area.

That good rate lasted a year. Then my rate increased by 32% (with no explanation), and then another 36% six months later. When I called to discuss the increase and mentioned that his wife (who works there) was unable to give me a good explanation for the previous 32% increase, he flew off the handle, told me that I could say anything about him, but not to touch his wife! He then told me to take my business elsewhere, and he hung up on me. I was going to take my business elsewhere, anyway, because I'm tired of being ripped off. But I thank God that I saw his true colors before I had to file any kind of claim with him because I can only imagine what a nightmare that would've been!

I guess I'm supposed to just sit here quietly, with a big smile on my face, and let him drastically increase my rate every six months. Never. He was very rude and extremely unprofessional instead of calmly answering my questions. He loves to say, "We don't set the rates." And he actually had the nerve to tell me that I have the best rate! But the clincher was the explosive anger after I mentioned that his employee (who happened to be his wife) was not helpful. I couldn't believe he was the same guy I dealt with when he sold me the policy. Horrible.

So I filed a complaint with the SC Department of Insurance because I had already spoken to them previously, and they told me that those increases were quite steep. Then I switched immediately. I was able to get much better coverage for both my home and car...for better rates...a zero deductible for my car (full coverage)...and with another company that consistently rates above Allstate in all the rankings, and which unlike them, has excellent customer service. So I'm very thankful that this horrible experience (the worst I've ever had with an insurance agent) spurred me to immediately switch to something better, and I'm so happy that I did!

Worst company ever

Allstate will not help you when you turn in a claim. Over 25 years of paying 6 property and 3 car policies, I turn in one claim and they will not do anything to help me. STAY AWAY FROM ALLSTATE IF YOU EVER PLAN TO USE A POLICY YOU PAID FOR

I received a email with a price quote from all state insurance for $529.14. I called the phone number and spoke with an agent. Come to find out my insurance estimate went from $529.14 to $1,628. This is misleading advertisement and they need to investigated.

I was warned.

Save your money and do NOT purchase the extended warranty protection plans when purchasing any electronics, especially TVs, from Costco. Costco is great, Allstate is NOT!

The Allstate agents will go out of their way to get out of honoring a warranty. Many of the agents are also very rude and impatient. This is extremely disappointing. They will continually ask for videos, photos, and/or diagnostic checks of the faulty equipment. No picture and/or video will be good enough. Even after you comply multiple times, they will continue to ask for more. This seems to be tactic to wear you down. It works! You get to the point where you find it will just be easier to replace what's broken. Hats off to their training in that area!

When you purchase the so called "protection plan," be fully aware that you are literally giving them free money and you will get nothing in return. I had been warned multiple times by friends and family alike not to purchase one of these plans. Sadly, I did not take their advice. Please do yourself a favor and save your money. I truly wish that I had. It would have also saved me the frustration as well.

I was recently rear-ended by someone, and despite not being at fault, it has been horrible dealing with Allstate claims. They are still asking me to pay 50% of the medical bill. I will not recommend Allstate to anyone; it's a third-class company.

Allstate worst company

Do not go with this company. One agent will lie to you and screw your bank account out of hundreds of dollars while the other agent tells you they only know I called but can't see the agent I spoke too and they will do nothing to fix it and u can't stop payment with the bank because rather u have money in ur account or not it will still pull for allstate and then go through immediately so u have zero chances of getting money back and owing your bank too. Been with them for two years it's been nothing but problems and they cover nothing. If they do cover anything ur deductible is like 10 to 20 gs you have to spend before insurance even kicks in. They will fail to explain all this to you and treat u like your stupid when you call needing help from ur insurance and they won't unless u pay a insane deductible first. Scam scam scam all the way through. F*** all state the moment I officially own my house I will never have house insurance again.

Especially how they talk to customers like they have all the power to put you down.

Please find another company as soon as possible and cancel the plan.
