I ordered a 32" x 40" poster with mat and frame. It arrived 7 days later (2 days before the expected delivery date) and I'm very pleased with the quality of the photo, the materials used, and the packaging. It's going to be a wonderful Christmas gift for a family member.
I have one criticism which has nothing to do with AllPosters. FedEx called me to request payment for customs and taxes, which I subsequently paid by credit card. When the item was delivered, the FedEx driver tried to charge me again. I showed her my proof of payment and she apologized and said this happens quite often with imported items she delivers. FedEx needs to clean up its billing system.
I wish I had checked a review site like this before attempting to buy my little sister a poster for Christmas. The site sent me a shipping confirmation email within 24 hours, and the site says it should take 4-8 business days to arrive, but it's been over three weeks now and no freaking poster. I promised my sister I would take her to Star Wars instead because her stupid gift is nowhere to be found. Oh, and they don't refund shipping costs so no matter what I've been totally screwed by these jerks. Thanks a lot, allposters.
Called the 888 number on invoice, was connected to someone trying to give me a $100 gift certificate from another company, would not give me AllPosters phone number. Return label conveniently missing from invoice. Chat guy wanted to know what was wrong even though they say 100% guarantee even if you don't like it. Print looked cheap in frame. Won't use again!
Placed an order Nov 18 for a Christmas present. Now, two months later, still no ship date after having missed two promised ship dates. Their site says the print has shipped, and they now admit they don't know when it will ship. And inquiries between their customer service office and their own warehouse takes 24-48 hours - they can't even communicate real time internally. Can't imagine how this business stays in business.
Ordered 3 posters and a tank top 2 months ago today and still haven't received anything. In all my years of online ordering, I've never had anything take this long. Most definitely won't be ordering from all posters again unless I plan on inducing myself into a 6 month coma.
I get it... it's a poster company probably with inadequate staff and poor management who seemingly want to sell posters with their abundant adds, etc. However, it takes forever for them to just ship it out and when it goes out, your shipping is the slowest I've ever seen. I could have driven there, picked it up and driven back before it even came close to a delivery. Once that poster is shipped then that's when the umbilical cord is cut and they no longer care. If you have issues, that's when you find out that they REALLY don't care. I will not purchase anything else from them again.
Under no circumstances deal with this company. The chances of receiving your order is less than 50-50. If you are awaiting delivery of an order and you have been waiting a month or more the chance of you receiving your order is pretty much zero. After many e-mails I made a call to the following number +1 *******172. Strangely the number was on the ALLPosters Australian site However it's a North Carolina number but the operator insists they are in a Dutch warehouse. Request an immediate refund, you might get lucky. As an aside Art.com is the same company and in January ALLPosters. Com was in a European court defending a copyright infringement charge. I hesitate to say it's a Scam but it is very close. Contact PayPal and your credit card company immediately and list your experience with every site you can find.
Total scam and a bag of lies. Website claims poster will leave next business day. I paid for 2-3 shipping, so I should have had the poster in 3-4 business days. It will be 6 business days before I get my poster. Customer service was demeaning and tried to make me look like an idiot without seeing it from my perspective, then told me how all of this "processing time" information was found on the website, when I can find only 1 day to process. Lied to me. Rude. Don't buy from this company.
It has been one month waiting for an $85.00 shipment that I expected to arrive at the beginning of the school year. Meanwhile, my classroom walls are still bare and the posters - supposedly all "in stock" - are "in process".
So when I went to the site, it told me "It looks like you are shopping from Canada, click here to go to allposters.ca" and I clicked it. I thought that meant prices were then in CAD as nowhere did it say that prices were in USD. Then after that, I was charged an additional 20% or more of the cost of my order for duties! Craziness. Would not order again from Canada. Shipping was very expensive already ($20) but I thought it'd be worth it to find some rare pieces... well after all this... it's not really worth it. I am very glad that I bought posters that were on sale at least.
If you are in the US or can ship to a US address, may be worth it. But watch for sales - prices and selection changes daily so you could pay full price one day, half price literally the next... so I'd wait for sales!
I ordered a large, beautiful framed print to celebrate a graduation. It arrived on my doorstep as though Fedex launched it there from the truck (or the back of the plane). Needless to day, the frame was snapped and split. I was terribly disappointed, picturing a hassle, repackaging, more shipping fees, and a longer wait, not to mention rolling the dice again with Fedex. Instead, Allposters was empathetic and bent on making it better from the start. They are issuing a replacement. To me, that is service where the customer comes first, and it is much too rare. Fedex aside, I will definitely buy from Allposters again and be proud to do so.
Recently, I ordered four items from AllPosters. Three of them arrived on time and by the expected delivery date. The last one (a Game of Thrones mug) never arrived. I waited a week after the expected date for it to miraculously arrive but it didn't, so today I emailed the site's customer service. I just got the response (it's been less than 12 hours!) and they're going to be re-sending the lost item. I'll update this if it never gets here, but, as of right now, I'm a happy customer.
I ordered ONE poster. My bank statement showed 5 duplicate charges from this company. I contacted them to ask why I was charged FIVE times for ONE order and they basically said "to make sure you have money in your account" and "it should be cleared" when your item ships. Well, here we are a week later and my item still hasn't been shipped.
I ordered an art print from this company which arrived very quickly and in good condition. I later ordered two more prints, but was informed a few days later that one of the prints was out of stock. The company quickly refunded my money on PayPal, in fact, a lot faster than I expected. After seeing the negative comments placed about this company, I felt I had to share my positive dealings with them so that others could get a realistic picture. Based on my experience with them, I would definitely order from the company again.
Not Happy Jan. They overcharged for shipping ($76 when it should have been $23, which they admitted to later in an email), didn't give me the discount they advertised. Finally provided a discount via PayPal refund (after complaint), but still no refund on overcharged shipping.
AND I still don't have the item.
I would recommend that anyone considering buying from this seller to think twice and do your homework. Wish I had. I would never buy from them again.
Customer service is very poor. You'll receive automated computer generated responses to your concerns, and they won't address the issues you put forward.
DON'T BUY FROM THEM.
I ordered a few posters and they charged me for about 60 orders. It completely drained my bank account. Customer service seemed apathetic and offered no refund for the order. They did pay the overdraft fee though.
I ordered 2 posters almost a month ago. The took my payment immediately but I had to wait three week for delivery of just one of the posters I order and am still waiting for the other. They only offer a weak response and said they would not refund money. If you are looking for poster art, rethink ordering from here.
Please never buy from them. It not only takes what feels like eternity to ship but also has a dodgy website. They told me I would have it before Christmas how wrong was I. Am infuriated and urge you never to buy from this place.
They do not care about their clients, unfortunately I'm going through hell with them just to receive my order in a decent time frame. Worst customer service i ever dealt with. You may potentially never get what you ordered also. And don't ever order a birthday present for someone from there. They'll never get it on time, even if you order weeks, or a month or more in advance. Im very disappointed. I was stuck on the phone with the customer service rep for a long time because she kept putting me on hold. Little did I realize it was long distance and i was charged quite a bit for it. Still never even got anything from all the stuff i ordered. My bf won't be getting his gift for his birthday and on top of it, i got a lousy cellphone bill because im having to deal with all this. Save your money and your time and buy elsewhere. I never write reviews. But after all this, i felt i had to let others know what i had been through. Extremely disappointed with this company
Ordered my posters over a month ago. They took about two weeks before they even shipped them, and then about three weeks later, after numerous emails and phone calls, that were extremely unhelpful, they announced that the packages were lost in transit. They then promised me free overnight shipping 5 days ago, and neither poster has arrived, and one poster is delayed, so it wont be shipped for another 2 weeks
Answer: They look good but are mounted on a very flimsy frames.
