I decided to order my dogs RX from here, and pay a little more, because it said "in stock, will ship in 1 Business day", This made it sound like I was going to get it faster. We could've driven there if we knew shipping would be delayed this long. Next time I will save money and buy from someone who is honest about how long shipping takes.
I have been using Allivet for years. My dog's medication is quite expensive, (like nearly double on some of the so called "top pet med sites." I have had little problem... mostly in the beginning. I just call now, rather that use the site. It is easier and I know that my questions or concerns are answered immediately and revisions are put into the computer. This is the way to go if you are ordering an RX, as your vet has to approve it. Service is great and fast. The staff is very friendly and as far as that person who said they use "fake medication." were I Allivet, I would certainly consider suing her or him. That was ridiculous. Doesn't that person have a vet who can say why the bunny was not responding to the medication. Perhaps a different problem?
I've owned dogs for over 20 years. Some have been healthier than others, but they have all needed Rx at some point in their lives. Allivet always contacts our vet for Rx approval, saving me yet another call to the vet. Orders arrive shortly and my order is always right! Thanks Allivet!
After waiting 9 days after I initially placed my order, the crushed box arrived at my door step only to be further disappointed when I opened up the box to discover that the medication I ordered was not in the deliver but instead was shipped another medication. Mind you, it was a cheaper medication. My poor 12 year old dog have been in pain and needed this injectable medication and now it's going to take more time to get it. Needless to say, I'm soon disappointed with Allivet. Will not be ordering from them again and advise you against it as well.

Was paying more at the vet's office and decided to look on-line for savings. Found what I needed at ALLIVET & even got a rebate on the meds... Just make sure your vet faxes the prescription to them. Have purchased from them many times
Great prices and quick and easy ordering. Dog medication is expensive so having a pharmacy that has reasonable prices helps me keep my pets healthy. I could not afford this medication at most pharmacies

For those of us who are actually purchasing things our pets needs, and have valid prescriptions from a reputable vet and can follow instructions, there is no easier place to order and get your pet meds! The perfect place for responsible, intelligent pet owners!
Allivet must have recruited their employees from Mexico. Half of them can't enunciate nor understand basic English. Trying to communicate with a representative is an impossible feat. I made several attempts to follow-up on a prescription and the representative simply could not understand why I was calling and he was completely lost.
Received order with no problem. Great price. When I just went to reorder, the "Forgot Password" utility didn't seem to work. Tried multiple times. Maybe it's their utility or maybe it's my email service. Will try again on another day and then maybe have to call it in.
They always have the best prices of any online pharmacy, and definitely better than any in person pharmacy or animal clinic. It's so hard to care for a sick pet, especially with insurance denies your animal for basically anything, so it's very helpful to be able to get their medicine without worrying about the price being too high in today's bad economy.
There's a reason they have decent prices. For some reason, they never seem to receive my vet's approval the first time and I end of having to call... only to be told my vet's office has received a confirmation from Allivet! Don't ever try to combine prescriptions; Allivet can seem to handle only one Rx at a time... and then hold up your entire order while they "wait" for the remaining approval to be sent via the vet... which in this case had already been sent and received twice! Thanks Allivet, for causing me to run out of my dog's medication while your incompetent staff sits around not making any phone calls or verifying the paperwork they've already received. Highly unimpressed.
The products were shipped faster and more reliable than other suppliers I have used. However, I did have to contact Allivet to ask why my product (that was already approved) had not shipped. Still, it shipped out immediately after my customer service conversation, so it could have been a coincidence. It's too soon to tell at this point whether it's an A+ company or not.
Although Allivet didn't remember me from my previous order it was an easy transaction, and I saved quite a bit. I am very happy with how placing the order went, hopefully receiving the order will go just as smooth.
I'm happy with the prices at Allivet, and their free shipping minimum is low. I have had only one issue with an expired medication but they called and let me know the situation and why my order was delayed.
Allivet has saved me tons on my shephard's prescriptions, he has arthritis in his hips and it was very expensive going thru the vet for his prescriptions. So I'm very pleased that they are able to keep pricing down.

I fully agree with the other reviews stating Allivet is a bad company and won't take responsibility for anything. Allivet claims they shipped my package, but I never received a tracking number or the package. They will not help me with the Postal Service, and when calling the help line a woman named Claudia was very rude and accused me of being a liar. Just a horrible experience all around. Please, order your pet medicine from someone else.
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
