Placed an online order on 11/118/15 and only received half of my order! BTW-there is NO WAY those 4 bags I'm missing would have fit in the box I was sent. And yes, I still have the original box. Now 3 phone calls later&still no remainder of order delivered. Always told "the supervisors are gone for the day or we need to look into it." They do have a record of my phone calls but don't follow thru! Next stop for me is the DA of Florida for consumer fraud.
I really appreciate this company very much because they keep their prices the same and don't hike up the price all the time like so many do. I need to find a good, less expensive option for my dog's medicines because our girl has to take so many and it is very hard to afford. Keeping her healthy and happy as long as possible is supremely important to us without going broke doing it. Please keep this in mind when you think about raising prices because it makes the difference in their quality of life and how long they live. Allivet is fast too which is important when you are talking about medicine!
I really think reviews should be once the product is delivered timely. I've done reviews prior to getting orders from other companies in the past and declared it excellent when it was short of that. Send me another review after item is delivered. Thank you.
Could not be happier with my experiences with Allivet - they have been incredibly helpful and have the best prices for needed meds. I am sad to see others advise against using them - in 4 years as a customer I have never had a bad experience.
I had a hard time finding my cats prescription food. Checked all the usual pet stores, not helpful. Tried Chewy, my vet apparently was not on their list, so they would not sell me what I needed. Allivet, was simple, found my product, answered a few questions and my order was being shipped. With the auto-shipping, I do not have to worry about forgetting to re-order on time. Free shipping over $49.00 brings my cost in at an extra savings.
I have been saving so much money since I started ordering stuff here instead. I really like that there's a discount for auto ship orders. Items are shipped very securely also, super happy with everything! So much easier than having to drive in to the vet all the time to pick up meds.

I received an email that my order would ship on 9/19. I receive no email with tracking information I called Allivet and they told me my medications were on back order and they didn't know how long it would take. This business needs shut down. Allvet has been so easy to work with for my dog's prescriptions. All I had to do is give them my vet's information and they did the rest. I simply go online when I need refills and within a couple of clicks, the medications are on their way! Oh and I'm saving money!
We order one item regularly from Allivet because their price of the item (it is a supplement for our dog's joint issues) is better than other places we have found. We've never had any issues with Allivet's website or ordering and receive the items in a reasonable time frame.
Since I have geriatric animals, they are always in need of medications, many of the very costly. After a lot of research, I found Allivet to be a reputable pharmacy with amazingly low prices for the same products I was getting at my vet's office. In fact, I pay almost half the cost on their most expensive heart medicine. I am so thankful we discovered Allivet.
I have never had any issues with this company! Customer service is fantastic and the prices are comparable/ cheaper than others. I order diabetic dog supplies frequently and there have been some mix ups, which mostly are the fault of UPS. However, the company always makes things right in a timely manner. This is an important quality when you have pets depending on medications for survival.
Do not waste your time with this outfit. I had my Vet send Rx before noon and order was still on "Hold" after four days. After calling their 800 number three times and being on hold for 20+ min (once they hung up on me), I cancelled the order. What a total waste of a week. They do NOT offer any support.
I would give zero stars if offered.
My first order took way too long to go through but after they got my pets script, the following orders went more smoothly. I am getting my pets meds for less than half what I pay at the vet, although on my last order the price went up by $4. In all, a great site that will save you a lot of money.
I purchased Albon per my Vets recommendation. I have been disappointed by Allivet's customer service now and in the past. The pharmacists do not work on Sat. To dispense our animal families much-needed prescription medication. It takes way too long to get the meds out of the building and into the mail. When I had customer service call the pharmacist for assist he had an uncaring response. How sad... I do not recommend Allivet. In this day and age customer service is so very important. It is much more important than the price for my fur-family.

I was calling for the first time to place a prescription order for my dog, Coal. I called four times and was always put on hold... and after waiting a long period of time, they would disconnect my calls. They may have good drug pricing, however their phone service is terrible. I understand from reading other reviews this problem is not unusual. I went to another online Vet Pharmacy and receive wonderful service. Mike
I usually hesitate to (or avoid) online purchases from lesser-known sites because I fear they don't invest in security features to protect me and my financial info. However, Allivet is no only encrypted, they also have a purchase security guarantee from Norton.
Yay! Allivet ALSO had very competitive prices, the exact prescription food my cat needs and easy (free and other) shipping options. I was very hesitant; now, I'm a fan! Thank you, Allivet!
I recently switched to this online pet medication retailer when the one I was going through kept raising their prices every time I had to refill my pet's prescription. The price was good and they contact your vet for you for refills, which is very convenient. So far I am pleased with Allivet, however I did notice that since placing my initial order the price of the medication I order has increased. I'm not sure if this is just a trend with all online pet med retailers - lure you in with a low price then raise it. Time will tell if Allivet is any different.
I will not be using this pharmacy again and suggest that you do not either. My initial experience with them was ok. However, despite having taken every step they recommended along the way to manage my pets prescription refill, they repeatedly gave me misinformation, did not call back when they said they would and my senior pet is left with no prescription refills on a medication that he requires daily in order to stay alive. If your pet's medication is critical and they are dependent upon it, do not work with this pharmacy.
I love using Allivet's auto ship program for my dog's medication, just as in my most recent order, AS-*******. I never have to worry about getting his medication too late. Allivet always contacts my veterinarian if a new prescription is needed and they always keep me well informed as to when my next order will be coming my way. Also, if I need to make any changes to the shipping date, it's very simple to make the change on their website or by using the Allivet app. I can also add one time items to a shipment if I'd like. All in all I am a very satisfied customer!
Not a big fan of the site design. If I refill a 60-pill prescription I get 60 items in my checkout. That's weird to me. It's just ONE prescription. The dividers between the different prescriptions are non-existent, so it's difficult to tell which drug has what amount remaining upon first glance. Prices are good and I like the ease of transferring a prescription. The website is running horribly slow today. It took almost half an hour to place my order and complete my transaction.
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
