Why do I continue to use Allivet for my pet's prescriptions? Here's why:

The pharmacy quickly contacts veterinarians for prescription authorization and follows up if a reply isn't received. They work hard to minimize delays.

I've used Allivet several times for my pet's prescription medications and have no complaints.

I ordered my pet's medication for heart failure early last week. My vet sent the script promptly on Wednesday. Days go by and they never sent the meds. Instead Allivet would send me emails saying they could not reach my vet. Allivet does not check their own emails/faxes for scripts sent in the from the vets. My vet even called them Monday to tell them they sent it. Yet it would still take an additional 5-10 days. I called Allivet and lingered on hold, no one ever picked up the phone. I emailed, facebook messaged them and nothing. Ya know Allivet, it's not I'm ordering some pet toys or treats I am ordering medication that my dog needs for his heart failure. Your delays, your incompetence are putting our pets in danger.

I have many animals. 4 Horses, 6 cats and 5 dogs. Not to mention the pot belly big and my reptiles. Our farm is a little zoo. Caring for these animals can be quite expensive. My husband and I started purchasing from Allivet when our vet recommended the pharmacy as one of the few online pharmacies he trusts. We are always so amazed at how quickly and safely our vaccines ship. My husband and I were most worried about purchasing the vaccines this way but Allivet always seems to impress us.

Terrible service. Continually have to hold their hand to get a prescription sent. Lied to by employees about receiving vets prescription email. They say they don't have it till miraculously a manager finds the email days after it was sent. Claim they will reimburse you for having to buy medicine elsewhere because of their incompetence and would run out because they don't do what they are supposed to do. Big surprise never reimbursed! Avoid this company at all costs! By the way this has happened on more than one occasion... If I could rate zero stars I would!

A majority of the time, Allivet has the best prices for the two *very* expensive medications my older dog needs for his heart condition. The prices do tend to fluctuate without notice (even with auto ship), so you have to keep an eye on pricing. They usually ship very quickly, but sometimes there seems to be a delay between the vet & Allivet with new prescriptions or validating refills. Overall, Allivet is amazing, I don't think I could afford my dog's medications without them. I have recommended them to friends who are also very happy.

Not only are prices competitive and the quality of the products top notch, it's wonderful to be able to talk to a real person who truly wants to help and knows their products. It can be dangerous buying pet medications online, however, I feel very confident dealing with Allivet. My Vet isn't always prompt when it comes to acknowledging requests for prescriptions, but Allivet continues to contact her and keeps me updated. Allivet is like dealing with a friend who cares about the health of your family... very unusual and hard to find these days.

Received vaccine from Allivet shipped over nite. Ambient temperature inside shipping box was at 78 degF. Vials were rolling around loose and ice packs were completely melted and at 73 degF. Vials at 77 degF. Very poorly packed... you would think an experienced company would know better, Shipment of vaccine was well over acceptable temperature and vaccine no longer any good. Contacted customer service to express my concerns and they were no help with a don't give a hoot attitude. Lost my money and time... Allivet lost their reputation and my respect. Sourced out another company with better shipping methods and guaranteed delivery or my money back. The Allivet logo states they are a trusted company and you can certainly trust them to take your money.

Originally did an online search for lowest prices on flea medication for my pets is how I discovered Allivet. Have continued to use Allivet for more than 2 years. Recently signed up for auto delivery and have been happy so far. My only concern is not receiving an email notification of a pending delivery. We live in an area where fleas and ticks abound and with both a dog and cats it's an absolute necessity to keep them treated unless we want a flea infection in our house. Been there done that!
