I am on an auto refill every two weeks. One of the prescriptions that my dog requires did not show up. I find out, after calling, that there is a back order, allowing me no time to find another source for this medication. They were not very empathetic and there has been zero follow up on their part. I was promised an expedited delivery once back in stock. That never happen.
My dog has Cushing's disease and I order her medication here because it's cheaper than getting directly from my vet (approx. $54 vs. $95). You just need to factor in enough time for processing and delivery and don't order at the last second. I have a great vet's office so I have had no issues with communication between them and Allivet.

I tried to call them during office hours, and nobody came to the phone. Even after office hours, there is no message saying they are closed. I ended up just opting to leave a message, to which they never responded. Finally, I went online to talk to them via live chat. I spoke with an agent named Holly, who was extremely rude: no hello, no goodbye, no thank you, no you're welcome - nothing, despite my cordiality. At this point, I am just going to find a vet to price-match, because I don't want to give unnecessarily rude people my money. Next time I'll just pay more for a company that actually wants my business.
Allivet is user friendly, reliable, and consistent. The price of their products are very competitive (plus there are sometimes additional promo codes that can be used to reduce the costs.) Monthly medications for our dog are simple to order and arrive when expected. Its website also makes it easy to track costs, etc for pet insurance claims. Would definitely recommend.

We recently inherited a very large, very old dog. This has caused much joy and some concern as we adjusted to our new family member. Allivet made it easier to deal with his medicinal needs. Their pricing is much lower than going through his vet and so easy to order. Plus I don't have to run across town to pick up pills monthly.

Ordering is easy and Allivet will contact my vet's office to confirm prescriptions instead of me scanning and sending a written RX. Processing and shipping is reasonably quick during business days, which is great since we have tendency to wait until the last minute to order refills!
Finding the product I needed on their website was so easy. Prices were lower than at my vets office. Make sure you order your medication a good 3 or so weeks before you need them because the services is a little slow.

Like many of the other reviews, my experience with Allivet has mostly been somewhat negative... poor order handling and follow-up, many mistakes, slow delivery. The ONLY thing that kept me trying with them is their prices. They ARE the lowest on most prescription items that I have found. My most recent order went off without a hitch, so I'll continue as a customer.
I initially started using Allivet for my cat's flea medicine as it was substantially less than what my vet was charging. Recently my vet wanted me to start my cat on a liquid medication for his autoimmune issue, but it was quite expensive at $150 per month. I found it at Allivet for $70 after using a coupon I had also found. When the medication came, it was leaking a bit and maybe 20% of the medication had leaked out. I was told by my vet that it was most likely due to the product being flown to me and the change in cabin pressure. I called Allivet hoping for a small credit for the amount lost. To my surprise, they send me a whole new bottle free of charge! No questions asked. My new bottle arrived today with no leakage issues. I will definitely use them for all of my pet medicine needs!
