Good prices and fast arrival of my pet meds. They contact the vet and make it very easy. I haven't had any problems and plan to continue using them as long as I have pets that need meds.

Allivet sent me the wrong order, and sent my order to someone else. I received a mysterious email claiming my return was being processed, this seemed odd to me, considering I never even received a package... I gave them a call to get to the bottom of this odd email...

You would think my phone call would be a red flag to the Allivet Customer Care Rep, that my order was mixed up. Instead I got a lame answer, after spending 30 minutes on the phone, of my shipment was accidentally sent twice, one package is on its way, and the other magically returned itself.

I finally get my package, and its horse syringes... not my vet prescribed dog food, probiotics, and flea medication.

When I called to resolve the issue, again I waited at least 15 mintues before I could get an Allivet Customer Care Rep, the Rep didn't apologize for the mistake and barley empathized with me. She was more concerned with the details of getting back the wrongfully shipped product. She reordered my order, and told me it would be shipped out today. When I asked if my order could be overnighted, and she refused.

It's not like I ordered a dog toy... I order vet prescribed food, probiotics, and flea meds and they refused to make good on their own mistake. Now my dog has to wait another couple days because of their mistake and bad customer service.

Never using this company again --Totally going with 1800 pet meds or Chewy.com

I have a pet taking Palladia, (a pricey cancer drug) and Allivet had the best pricing, great service and easy shipping of the meds to our doorstep. They call the vet to verify the script and in comes in the mail.
So happy to have this pharmacy option!

Was hold three times for over a half hour lat time stayed till 30 min and young lady hung up on me and would not answer a question said they are very busy said thank you and hung up

I placed my first order two weeks ago with Allivet and the order has still not been processed. I was supposed to get the medications for my puppy within 5-10 business days. I contacted them via email and their support service ticket system several times - still no answer from them. Today, I finally got a hold on them via Live Chat. After I explained my situation, I magically received an email from Allivet saying my vet was not providing the prescription... While on the chat, I called my vet clinic and they never heard from Allivet. When I asked about an update on my order I still did not get any answer from Allivet. I asked for the name and contact of the supervisor but they refused... As of now, I still don't know what is happening. Also no compensation or expedited shipping was offered by the rep after not handling this issue. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy about the lack of customer service at Allivet. They can not be trusted. Medications are essentials to animals. This is a serious matter.

Their lower prices are not worth the hassle of dealing with customer service representatives who do not respond in a timely manner. Their website clearly states they will respond within 24 hours of contacting them. When I pointed this out to them, I was still told how the issue was my fault. There are plenty of other online pharmacies willing to work with people who are patient and sincere.

They have Vetmedin in stock when no other site does and they have the best prices on the drugs my dog needs for his congestive heart failure. They check with vet on the prescription and I've always received my order in a few days. Been a great experience!

Trying to call about an order. Still on hold... it's been over 90 minutes. I doubt they'll answer, but I figure I'll leave the phone on speaker while I work just to see if they ever do. They have my order on hold waiting for vet approval but have not acknowledged that they already received it so my order is not being processed. I have written to them with no results either. I'm leaving town on an extended trip and I need these meds to leave with my pet sitter. This is no way to do business.

Prescription order

I was a skeptic at first as my dog is in heart failure and I was down to the last week of meds. Her meds cost me $400 at the Vet and it was getting expensive not to mention two had to be called into a regular pharmacy which added another $100. So that is $500 per month for meds. I placed my order on Friday, my vet called in on Friday and the meds were filled on Monday and I opted for two day delivery, which delivered in 24 hours. I have to say that the hold on Customer Service is brutal, I had to hang up several times after 30 minutes. Didn't get the call back that I was promised but I was persistent and held for CS. Meds were delivered and now I am at ease for one month. Remember to make sure you have at least 10 days before your run out of meds for your pet. I highly recommend this pharmacy and look forward to ordering all of my meds in the future. They will debit your card $6.95 even if it is free delivery but it will be credited back within the next 24 hours. Thank you Allivet.

I've ordered from Allivet at least 12 times over the years and 10 out of 12 times, they have shipped out the same day of the order. Last week my vet faxed them a prescription right after closing hours on a Thursday, and has confirmation the fax was received. I expected it to ship out on Friday and I paid extra for 2 day shipping so I'd have it Monday or Tuesday at the latest. The fax was ignored; the vet had to refax it Friday afternoon but I was told it was too late in the day to ship out. Customer service tells you they ship out within 24-48 hours but the message you hear while they put you on hold is "Orders received after 2 pm MAY NOT go out until the next day." That's quite different from "24-48 hours." I wrote customer service asking for a free upgrade to overnight shipping so I'd get it Tuesday. They have not answered me at all and shipped it out today using two day shipping. After reading other reviews here, I'm lucky they shipped it out at all. Very disappointed in the minimal customer service Allivet has shown.

Seriously?
How is this a way to do business? My pets prescription needed to be refilled and then he didn't authorize Asian from the veterinarian I keep calling I've even sent an email for them to call my vet and get the approval I can't get anyone on the phone I have waited for 15 to 20 minutes each time before I got disgusted and hung up. If you want to deal with stuff like this for the cheaper price then be my guest

Foolishly lured by its low prices, I now see the trade-off: not just lousy customer service, but NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They never contacted my vet, never let me know I'd placed an order or that it hadn't been filled; you can't "live chat" with them and you can't reach them by phone. I've been on hold for 13 minutes right now and have been trying to reach "live chat" longer than that and all of that is to cancel the order. Do I have to give them even one star?

You can't beat these prices with this service. I always use Allivet for my cat and dog needs. People complain about not getting a prescription filled but it's usually the local vet holding things up.

I ordered an item for my dog online, and several days later I discovered it was placed on Rx-hold. I called them and was on hold for 20+ minutes. When someone finally answered, I asked if she could call my dog's vet for the prescription because my dog needed it soon. She did call the vet but then told me that I wouldn't get the item for 5-7 business days even though I had paid for faster shipping. I even spoke with a supervisor who proceeded to tell me why I shouldn't expect faster service. I cancelled my order and later discovered that my dog's vet had the item I needed, and it was the same price as Allivet's. I'm a very disappointed ex-customer.

The worst
July 12, 2017

After more than 20 years of shopping on the internet, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had.
I submitted an order on June 30th. A couple weeks later I tried calling and sat on hold for over 10 minutes. I never talked with a rep.
So I responded to my order confirmation, telling them to cancel my order. Then I submitted the order to another company.
Weeks after that, they asked my vet for approval on the prescription. My vet denied it, and finally, I heard from Allivet that my order was on hold (one month to the day after I ordered it).

Stay Away

Website DOES NOT WORK. Will not let me add a pet or a vet at checkout. Links do not go anywhere. I actually don't even know if it is a real business. Tried calling customer service but no one ever answered. BUYER BEWARE.
