Osi was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and prescribed a pharmaceutical: Methimazole, costly from my vet and apparently Osi will need it for the rest of his life. I worried until I found out about Allivet and checked the savings I would have by ordering from them. Life saving for Osi and worry-saving for me.
I continue to purchase from Allivet because they have the lowest prices I've been able to find. Sometimes it is difficult to for my vet to call in prescriptions without faxing them, but customer service has been helpful and polite when calling about an order.

Best price I've found for Nexgard for our dog and fast shipping which is great because we tend to wait until the last minute to re-order vet meds.
I have been using Allivet for my cats medications for a number of months because their pricing is better than other places. Sometimes they have shipped things quickly and sometimes they answer an email within 24 hours. However, their communication and customer service is very inconsistent. My latest issue is that they never shipped an order placed a few weeks ago and never notified me that they had a question about it. They didn't respond to my first 2 emails asking about it. When I called, they offered to overnight the medication. However, that didn't happen until someone else finally emailed me to ask the same question I had already answered over the phone. And, now, the medication that was shipped overnight still has not arrived 3 days later. My cat has now been without important heart medication for a couple of days. This isn't the first issue I've had with getting medication in a timely manner. It isn't the first time I've been frustrated with their customer service and inconsistent communication. I no longer believe that their service is worth the affordable pricing.
My cat needs insulin and they overnight it. Easy to order too. The reps are pleasant to deal with and very quick to get an order completed.

I was paying a fortune for meds for my old dog who has seizures. My FB friend suggested Allivet. Ever since, i will never get pet meds from my vet. They make it easy to connect with your vet so that you can purchase via email. Just give yourself 10 days when you place your order. This way you will always have those meds on hand. The prices they have marked on the Rx is a great deal! My dog is prescribed Apoquel for his allergies for the rest of his life at the young age of 3. My vet office wanted over $140.50 for just 90 days of pills. Through Allivet I was able to buy his 90 days prescription for $100.80 plus an additional $5.00 discount just for signing up for emails! This was an amazing savings for a college student with a challenging rescue dog! I would recommend this site to anyone!
