Placed order and checked box that I was mailing prescription in via Priority Mail. Instead of following instructions they tried to contact the Vet I listed on file. I use multiple Vets and the one who wrote the prescription was different than the one I had on file. Rather than processing the order properly, I will not be receiving the medication in time and I don't have the Rx now to get it filled locally. Very big mistake trying to save a few bucks and will be costly to my pet.
This was the cheapest site to purchase insulin for my diabetic dog. I was happy to see free shipping for over $49 but unfortunately it doesn't apply to insulin as it has to be 2 day cold shipped and thats a $30 charge for it. So unless you buy it in bulk, I' m not saving any money vs getting it from my vet. The only convince is I don't have to go pick it up and delivered to my door. I will still buy here, just in bulk and hope his insulin doesn't need to be changed.

Now they are saying SO SORRY CLIENT while my dog is running our of her VITAL hormonal pills or she pees everywhere. Prescription is delayed in Oakland and Allivet WILL NOT RESHIP until NEXT FRIDAY... cause I chose FREE shipping and it says says 5 - 10 days, but that is BUSINESS DAYS. What HORRIBLE SERVICE!
I've been ordering pet meds from Allivet for quite a while. They fast and efficient. Plus they have good prices compared to other pet pharmacy's.

Its soooooooo convenient to have it shipped to your house and never worry about running out. Its automatically shipped so one doesnt have to remember when its time to reorder. Its also a lot cheaper than purchasing it from the vet. So Im saving time and money.
I have had some problems with getting a discount added to my autoship. It took them 3 orders to finally apply it, the second guy did not put the discount in the right area so when it processed I did not get my extra discount. There was some miscommunication before this and I was originally told to call them on the day of the autoship which happened 2 days before they said it would in my reminder email. Also keep in mind I am ordering from CA and they are east coast based, and the order had already been placed two days before and before 6 AM my time. Finally spoke to someone knowledgeable and had it corrected.
Allivet has done me good with getting the meds for my Dog quick and saving me more than 1/2 the price per month.
I love Allivets prices. They were quite a bit cheaper than my pets veterinary clinic. Thank God, because I didn't know if I was going to be able to afford all his medicine. And I really appreciate kind customer service.
Title says it all - except one thing I left off - Very Good Pricing. Good follow through on contacting the Vet for prescription items.
First, after clicking on a Google ad for a a product the price in my cart did not match. So, I got on chat to ask what was going on. She said "give me the order number and I'll fix it for you" so I did. She proceeded to order TWICE the quantity I had in my cart therefore significantly overcharging me. Called and they will not refund my money for several business days. They can apparently take it immediately, but won't credit. Customer service was horrible and "sorry, I can't help you; the manager that can see your order isn't here" etc., etc. STAY AWAY
Allivet is one of the few very reliable providers of online meds for your pet. Timely shipment and never a problem with yiour prescription.
My vet is just too expensive for all the medications taken by my dog and two cats. Allivet is consistent with sending good products for reasonable prices. Their customer service is also responsive.
Allivet is willing to contact the vet to obtain prescription authorization and keeps me informed as to the order status. Website easy to navigate. The only negative issue I have encountered is when a medication is out of stock. Allivet does not know (and I suppose this is understandable) why the medication is out of stock or when it is expected back in stock. Overall though, very happy with the transaction process.
The prices are more reasonable than other places. Deliv delivery is very quick. And customer service seems to be very helpful in any questions or orders that are done over the phone.
As long as you order in time so you don't run out its great. Cheapest place i found for my dogs prescription- half of what the vet was going to charge!
Once you set up the prescriptions between your vet and Allivet, you save about 8-10%. If you invest the initial time to set it up your transactions, and your product is in stock,, you can save money!
Site is simple to navigate and price is far less than vet or other sites. Auto ship will give you an additional discount. My dogs heart pills are extremely expensive so any additional money off is helpful
