I started shopping on Aliexpress about a year ago after hearing about the great prices from my best friend and I'm addicted. The prices are incredible and most items have free shipping which is a major plus. I've purchased all sorts of items from lipsticks, to chargers, heels, and necklaces and I haven't had any issues. I see a lot of reviews from others stating that they were robbed or got items in the wrong sizes and it just sounds stupid. Aliexpress is just like Ebay. You run the risk of being scammed and or disappointed if you don't take the time out to simply check out the Sellers reviews & product feedbacks, as well as the sizing charts. Be Cautious as you would be anywhere else. Don't purchase items that are almost free and have very little feedback or a short order history to be safe, make sure to measure yourself according to each sellers sizing chart before you purchase anything and if you still aren't sure ASK the seller BEFORE you purchase. Stay away from sellers with low ratings( under 94%). It isn't rocket Science folks, don't overspend on items you are unsure of or can find closer to home, because hello this is all coming from China, you don't get a warranty for any product that isn't from your own country. This is the worse service I have ever received.

Order never arrived and no refund was given. Aliexpress mentioned that it is my responsibility to clear an item. I called UK customs and quoted Aliexpress order number, but UK custom could not trace the item, the UK customs asked for appropriate shipping paper work and reference number.

I came back to Aliexpress dispute and the seller and asked for relevant export paper work with a reference number - Both the Seller and Aliexpress refused to send these details... All THEY KEPT SAYING WAS IT WAS MY DUTY TO CLEAR THE ITEM.

As we speak Aliexpress dispute closed my ticket paid the seller. Both Aliexpress and the Seller never sent export document as requested by UK customs. My item never arrived and I never got a refund.

Please stay away from this seller and Aliexpress

Guys DONT GIVE UP, there is a way how to GET REFUND from ALIEXPRESS: browse CITIZEN ADVISOR BUREAU online/form - "Contact the Consumer Helpline"-follow the instruction okay?! :) I did it.
Your Bank may open a DISPUTE on your behalf: it is called DEBITE CARD DISPUTE.
It take a bit of time but TRUST ME IT WORKS: my bank has applied a temporary credit on my account. Just follow the instructions!
In this way this RUBBISH company such as AliExppress will be chasen by dozen and dozen of banks, in the end it will stop to deceive the honest consumers.

Two orders - 1st they didn't ship anything and took my money, 2nd they shipped damaged items and gave back 1/2?

Sounds like its serious hit or miss on Aliexpress, I love the idea of cheap items direct from the source, but my experience is horrible.

1st order - a bike tire - usually $125 - was to be sent for $50. Never was sent / they claimed it was sent to the wrong address, now the seller doesn't respond. I chatted with customer service twice to try to get something done, both times they said they would take care of it, but never responded again, basically a customer service black hole.

The 2nd order was for a $299, new cutting edge piece of camera equipment, which showed up broken / built cheaply, I uploaded a video of the broken part, the "judge" ruled that I was correct, it was broken, next thing you know, "Dispute Finished Refund Only US $ 129.50" and I spent $70 shipping the item back to china - the seller lied and said they would refund both the full price and shipping. No suprise, they disappeared.

Rules must be different in China... they must love to take money from the "wealthy" United States.

Do yourself a favor - don't bother with this website, buy it somewhere else.

I buyed a sd memory card that when i tried from first time did not worked. Altought i send video as evidence at least after a long frustantig controversy process they asked to send back item to be rufunded. Think that expensive cost to resend a tracked parcell are higher than refund. Realy worse. I will never use aliexpress. The claim do not bring to satisfaction. I let refund and close any tractative. Aliexpress, at lest, do not protect the buyer in my opinion. The chinese item are fondamentaly not safe. People who usually sat this are right. I did not believe it, but now i am convinced that is truth

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM AliExpress! The items in the pictures, are not what they send you. Additionally, since AliExpress is in China, they also DO NOT SPEAK OR know how to WRITE ENGLISH!. The item I purchased was not what I received in the mail. Not only was the ad on the item totally different from the picture, there were spelling errors :): ) :) :) Now I am in a 'pissing' war to get a refund from someone who doesn't speak or write English? DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ALIEXPRESS! Yes, the prices are cheap, but DO NOT let that affect your decisions. You will regret it!

AliExpress was the most horrible online shopping experience I have dealt with. Not only did they send me the wrong color dress that was the wrong size, stitched absolutely terribly in the wrong places, that was different from the the dress in the picture, they promised me 100 dollars back out of 164 because the shipping was so expensive. THEN, THEY DID NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! I messaged the seller over and over again and I have contacted the AliExpress website and they never answered. I do not suggest anybody every uses this website unless you want a horrible product different from what you ordered. The website is incompetent of giving a good product and any customer service whatsoever.

Not really the same problem, but now that I see all of the negative feedback i will not order from them anymore. Anyways I ordered MAC makeup kit 180 palettes. It was $33.5 I received my order... ABOUT A MONTH AFTER and DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT WAS BROKEN! It was cracked and when I contacted the seller they wanted me to send the product back in then I would get a refund but instead I just kept it and never confirmed that I received it. I was so happy to go and pick it up from the mailing place and that was what I got! DONT BUY FROM THEM!

Bought 20AH battery to replace original 16AH gel acid battery for Yamaha Waverunner.
Connected a 12V 60W halogen bulb drawing ~5A current. It lasted 30 min.! Instead of 4 hours as it supposed to last- meaning it is 2.5AH battery!. Got angry, ripped it apart and found the battery box is 2/3 empty, consisting of 8- D size like cells. Complained, got $ 47 back- it is 1/3 of what I've paid with shipping

Used both Alibaba and Ali Express so many times... I prefer Ali express more because whenever you decided to buy something there, you can check the reviews from other end users which really is useful... In any case use someone with more experience in the business... like 4 or 5 years and more... (this you can check from the sellers website), if you are dealing with new suppliers its kind of spending your valuable time on explaining again and again... because most of them have poor English. But they keep saying they understand... beware of that kind of miscommunication so that you wouldn't end up with the wrong item... other than that it is great. And as of myself I can say I am now more comfortable with Ali express because I can buy whatever quantity I need unlike Alibaba... Using Alibaba, I think is more useful for people who has big orders... instead of personal use... because most of the time the Minimum order requirement is in thousands... On Ali express you can compare prices and items on the spot... kind of short cut for me... but don't choose free shipping... its like taking forever to get your items... there are reasonably competitive shipping choices and its easier and hassle free. Hope this might help.

I bought an Inverter which cost around 500 euros and after a few weeks it stopped working. There was a smell of burning but I did not open it to avoid any claims of user interference. They told me to send it to another Chinese man in Lisboa. The reply was that it was unrepairable and it was the first such problem they had seen. They therefore felt it was somehow my fault! Since then they have refused to even reply to emails. I believe they are relying on the fact they are in China to ensure they do not have to honour their gurantee (2 years supposedly)
I am considering my options but at least by stating the facts here I might help somebody else avoid this company. I should say that I have had hundred of dealings with other Aliexpress companies and they have almost all been positive- the only niggle being a couple of non arrivals without refund but all have been for small purchases. Unless you have a lot of faith, I would think carefully before buying anything costly from Aliexpress due t the lack of comeback.
